I’ve never painted in my life before, as I’ve always thought I had no talent. During the pandemic a friend of mine suggested me to attend one of Yulia’s classes. I was afraid at first, but my inner voice was whispering me softly yet very loudly: “Elena, perhaps that’s your opportunity to unfold some of your hidden talents”. It was during the summer of pandemic, between the lockdowns. The Art Workshop was in a lovely park; we were surrounded by the beautiful nature, the art supplies were already set up and waiting for us to create our masterpieces, and Yulia with her friendly smile encouraging us and setting us up for success – everything was inspiring. Yulia guided us with her step-by-step detailed and clear instructions and her “show-and-tell” approach techniques. Two hours flew by so fast, and my first Piece of Art was born. Yulia’s workshops give you that Sense of Accomplishment, the feel of being proud of yourself, as at the end of each class you have your own beautiful creation. After the class you can’t wait to come home to frame it and then to find that perfect spot in your house to hang it to admire… All my life, deep inside me, I had that burning desire to be able to paint but never thought it was possible.… Now I am so grateful to Yulia that her Art Classes materialized my dream and fostered my ability to paint. Ever since I never missed a class and always look forward to attend the next…Yulia’s Art Classes allow you to develop the new skills, encourage your self-growth, and raise the state of your joy and happiness….

I booked a 2 hour watercolor workshop with Yulia. She was flexible and responded promptly to my questions about how we could safely do a workshop with full covid precautions. I have never done watercolor painting before and Yulia was patient, she demonstrated techniques and was encouraging as we progressed with our painting. The 2 hours passed quickly, and it was a very relaxing experience. My initial nervousness about not knowing what to do, quickly dissipated with her gentle approach. I would definitely recommend an art class with Yulia and my granddaughter who is artistic produced a very good watercolor painting and enjoyed the experience. Painting with Yulia had given me the confidence to try other art work. Thank you Yulia.

My son (then 3,5 years) attended summer program with several neighbors' kids and it was amazing! It was tailored not only for his age but also for his interests. Although he doesn't enjoy art at the daycare, but this classes were so much different and therefore so much fun for him! I hope to have the opportunity to do them again this summer.

I attended Yulia’s workshop a week ago. We worked on a pastel picture and the results turned out great! I have never painted with pastel before. Last time I painted was 20+ years ago. With Yulia’s guidance, professionalism and sense of humor everything was possible. I had a great time during the session. I was able to complete entire picture in one shot. Everyone who sees the completed work compliments me (I would pass these compliments to Yulia :) Yulia’s instructions are simple and easy to follow. She breaks entire picture into series of small tasks with detailed explanation and demonstration. I also liked that I had an opportunity to communicate with the other participants and review our pictures at the end of the session. Thank you so much for organizing and facilitating the workshop! I would recommend it to anyone and will definitely join similar sessions with Yulia.

Yulia is very organized and does lessons and demos which make the learning process both fun and effective. I have taken two different classes with Yulia now and I find I push myself to try new methods that I may have been scared of attempting before as a result. Yulia is a great artist herself, but that doesn’t always guarantee to make you a good teacher (as I have found with some other artists). In Yulia’s case she is both.

Yulia is a very talented teacher, she managed to explain every detail in painting and by the end of every class my daughter had an excellent creation and great mood till next picnic.
