We used Vivid Colours for painting our recently purchased home in the KW area. Boris was a real pleasure to work with! He is a really friendly, humble and down-to-earth guy. During the initial consultation, Boris listened to our vision and made recommendations on the best ways to achieve our final goal. We tasked him with covering dark coloured walls (in an entire home) with white paint and so the work was going to be laborious. Boris and his team did a great job and finished in record time! He was very punctual and professional. He followed safety measures during the whole job and made us feel really comfortable. We are very happy with the final product and are looking forward to adding our touches to the beautiful canvas that Boris created for us. We were extremely pleased with the painting Boris and his crew did on our house exterior. Our drab and outdated yellow vinyl siding was transformed to a fabulous modern gray, and it looks fabulous! Additionally, Boris was very courteous and professional, on time, and delivered on what he said. He was also very accommodating and flexible regarding the scope of work, which increased after he had already started. We found his pricing very fair as well. Will definitely hire Boris again for any painting needs we will have down the road. Highly recommend!

I would love to share my experience with Vivid colours... I am owner of Lucy’s Barber shop in Kitchener. The only time I had available to repaint my shop, was Christmas time, when I was able to close my business for a few days... Didn’t have big hope that any professional painting company would do this-working over the holidays. VIVID COLOURS DID!! Boris, the owner explain, that yes, they’re trying to work at the time, convenient for businesses. AMAZING WORK, EXTREME ATTENTION TO DETAIL VERY WELL ORGANIZED CLEAN!!! Was NOT impressed with level of services and job done by Boris. - Very sloppy, messy and unorganized work - Did not complete all things as agreed upon - Many paint splatters - spend all day just cleaning baseboards on stairs - Left wall paper remnants all over for us to clean up - Even painted over wall paper in some areas which are now lifting - Closed cupboards before dry which caused edges to chip - Left patched up areas for us to paint - Had no idea that he had to prime over oil paint first before painting (professional should know) - Not professional or client centered (argues when advised of problems) Could think of more, but it's overwhelming as this was not expected of someone who claims to provide professional service. 1 star is too much, would most certainly NOT recommend Boris to anyone.
