Paint & Cocktails hosted a painted night at our company office as a corporate team building event. It was a HUGE success! The artist/instructor was great to work with, not only while painting but also during the booking process. He was very professional, well prepared and a great instructor. We had 45 employees participate and yet each and every painting was unique in the end. We are currently going through the photos taken from the event on the companies facebook page and laughing! Would definitely book again with Paint & Cocktails.

Placed an order for $90 for a paint night back in March using Groupon. Event was initially postponed due to COVID. Now the event does not even show up. I have emailed quite a few times regards to reimbursement over the course of past few months and still No luck. Extremely disappointed with customer service. I was really looking forward to it with my partner but turned out to be a bad experience overall. They have not even mentioned the fact they took the money and not reimbursing for something not offered is not okay. They simply told us to deal directly with Groupon. It is disappointing to hear at such hard times that we all are in together.

Gary was very responsive to my emails. Gary was able to ship all our paint supplies bulk to our Calgary office. Gary was a great instructor. I've organized 3 paint nights now with Paint & Cocktails over the least 3 years, and they've all been huge hits! The paint nights have been for work events, where employees and myself, along with our plus ones join in for an evening of dinner and drinks followed by painting. Gary is an excellent facilitator in all aspects of the word: He is super helpful when it comes to finding a venue and securing a space that we need for our paint night - I barely had to do anything when it came to planning the paint night itself; Gary also brings ALL of the supplies (paint, brushes, cleaning tools, canvases, easels, etc) and sets everything up and also cleans it all up! The painting process itself is SO MUCH FUN! In a fun and interactive way, Gary walks us through each step which eventually all culminate into a beautiful painting. What I like about Paint & Cocktails is that painters are encouraged to create their own "version" of art, you don't have to follow every step exactly the same way Gary demonstrates! We will be going with Paint & Cocktails again next spring for our annual paint night. I highly recommend Paint & Cocktails for a great night of socializing and creativity! Thanks a lot, Gary!!! :)

Our organization reached out to Paints and Cocktails to provide a virtual lesson. It was easy to coordinate, and they were very understanding and gracious with the changes to the number of participants. Our instructor, Gary, was wonderful: engaging, knowledgeable and funny. Gary provided honest feedback in a sincere and polite manner. We had novice and experienced painters in our group, and we all had a great time and learned many techniques. I would highly recommend registering for one of Paint and Cocktails virtual or in-person events. The two hours went by so quickly because it was so enjoyable. The event felt intimate despite being virtual due to the pandemic. As their website states: it did make us "paint (or learn to paint) in a way that [ignited our] creative style."

Paint & Cocktails hosted an online painting fundrasier for our gymnastics club. It was so much fun! Gary was so easy to work with when planning the event, he was quick to respond back to any questions that I had, professional and clear. He was also great during the actual class, his instructions were so clear and he helped others along the way when they had questions. I also loved that he encouraged everyone to make the painting their own, especially since there were quite a few kids participating. He also has a great sense of humour which kept everyone smiling and laughing. It was honestly the best experience ever! Everyone had an amazing time. Gary and Susan were amazing. We’ve had them out twice, first night we did Willow song, second night Paint you Pet. It was so much fun. Our pictures were fabulous. As someone with no artistic talent, I was quite proud of the picture. I’ve never done a paint night before and I’m not a drawer/painter etc so I was nervous about how my painting was going to turn out. We had him come in for our Christmas party at the childcare center I work at and he was a blast! He was so funny, knowledgeable and his instructions were clear and easy to follow. It also helps seeing the painting that he is painting along with you. Within 10 minutes I was confident that with his guidance and tips I would create something good and I did I! It’s hanging up in my living room right now. I never thought I would EVER in my life paint something I was proud of and this paint night proved that it’s possible! We ended up purchasing our own supplies only because there wasn't enough time between booking and the paint night to have their kits mailed to everyone. Gary sent us links of where to find everything we needed! The instructions were so clear and made the whole event seamless. The paint class itself was so much fun. Gary led our class and he made it so easy to follow along and encouraged us to paint in our own styles too- it didn't have to be perfect! I will most definitely be doing this again.
