As a Landlord, it is nice to go back to a company as a return customer. Kevin and Gateway Painting were willing and able to tackle an unusually tricky job of a cracked popcorn ceiling in my rental condo which had been empty for quite a few months waiting on a renovation. The dryness in the air without the by-product of humidity created by someone living in the unit had created excessive cracking in the ceiling. Their quote was very reasonable, they fixed the ceiling and repainted it, they completed the job quickly, they contained the mess in the bedroom, and they cleaned up after themselves. I was very pleased, yet a second time. Thank you Kevin.

Jeff and his team are outstanding! We moved into our new home in Kitchener and had booked Gateway to come in the day following our move to paint 3 rooms. They arrived on time and were courteous, professional, and meticulous in their work. The coats were smooth and there was absolutely no paint run-offs on the baseboards or "boo boos" on the ceiling. Also, (and this is quite impressive) their hands were so steady that there was no need for painter's tape when painting around trims/baseboards. We intend to paint a few more rooms in the future and will 100% use Gateway again. Thank you for a job well done!

Gateway painted our kitchen cupboards one week ago, including patching old handle holes and drilling and installing new handles. They were careful, clean, polite, and detail-oriented. They also completed the work within the timeframe they specified, and started the work only two weeks after their initial estimate that they provided a month and a half earlier (in my experience this is unusual as contractors always take much longer than they tell you). A slight issue with one of the drawer pulls was quickly responded to and corrected with careful diligence and communication. One of the most professional companies that have done work in our house. I would highly recommend them.

Kevin and his crew did exactly as promised, stained the brick for our entire house perfectly. The painting was done with extra care around all doors, windows and soffits. The attention to detail they spent made it look like the brick was always that colour rather than painted. Neighbours have been asking us all about it. Hi Kevin: This is long overdue, my apologies. When I decided to have my kitchen cabinets repainted, I was very nervous. This was a big investment and I knew if it was not done right, I would end up having to replace all the cabinets...huge investment. When I met you I was very impressed with your professionalism and your knowledge of how cabinets should be painted as I had researched this extensively prior to your arrival. You provided me all the information I needed about what was expected of me, time lines and cost. When you advised me that you only use Sherwin Williams paint that showed me that you care about quality as that is the only paint I use in this house. Joshua showed up on time and on the date that was agreed upon. During the next week, I got to watch him work and I was very comfortable with having him in my home. He was a very personable person, always seemed to be in a good mood and always kept me updated in regards to his progress. At the end of each day, Joshua always cleaned up his work area and advised me of what time he would be back the next day. As the cabinets were being painted a very dark blue and the walls and tiles were white, I was a little concerned how steady of a hand he might have. I should not have been concerned as I can say his painting job was absolutely perfect. When the cupboard doors were finally reinstalled he made sure all the cabinets opened seamlessly and evenly. As for the finished product, I could not be happier as your company actually exceeded my expectations, which are pretty high. I reached out to Gateway Painting based on a referral from a family member who had recently used their services. I dealt with them via email to get a quote - I provided photos and sizes and they were able to provide a reasonable price. I appreciated this method of communication since as a landlord, I do not live in the same city as my rental properly that required painting.
