Came here and to my surprise they were having a Buy-One-Get-One-Free! The second can I got just in a base white colour that can be mixed at any other time. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They also carry everything you need to get a paint job done, from tape to rollers and sand blocks. They also give you free paint srixks - which is very handy as I always forget and end up making a mess later. I don't think I'll go anywhere else in Halifax for paint any longer! Also the Universal Grey paint is pure luxury, as sunlight hits it throughout the day it changes in shades, and perfectly complements any other accent colour.

She talked me through some options and pulled some paint chips out for me to see contrast. She worked with me on colours and ideas I had and confirmed or supported with her knowledge of paints. The customer service at Dulux Paints was second to none and I would highly recommend Dulux Paints.

I have to say just how upset I am with the level of satisfaction I received from the Employees and The Manager of Dulux Paints on Grand River Road in Sydney. They made a mistake in tinting paint purchased from them by a good customer of theirs . Since I dropped a letter off to them they NEVER returned a call or contacted me. Their mistake has caused me as a contractor a loss of revenue and for the customer his house remains unfinished because of the MIS TINTED paint supplied by Dulux. BUYER BEWARE, IF DULUX MIS TINTS YOUR PAINT THEY WILL NOT COVER THE CHARGE FOR A CONTRACTOR TO FIX THE PROBLEM. MY rating is less than ONE STAR their customer skills suck Avoid Dulux Paints if you can.??????????????????????????????????????????????????

Great discounts for military and RCMP, always my first chice for paint, but how is it that a store like Dulux (all of them) is closed on Sundays. Does not make sense to me, they must lose so much business because of it. You're literally driving me to HD or Kent.

Very disappointed in the customer service. There was a 2 for 1 sale on, that ended on July 7th. We realized we were going to need more paint about 10 minutes to closing. I tried calling to see if it would be possible to leave a CC and run it through to take advantage of the sale, they said no, I then asked if it would be possible to take a rain check and pick up tomorrow, to which they said no. We've always used Dulux paint because it is Canadian , but after this experience, we'll be shopping elsewhere for paint. Buying over 6 cans of paint was going to be pricey in itself, the sale would have helped us out immensely. Its not like we didn't know about the sale and came in the next day demanding it. We just couldn't make it there in the nick of time because of the extensive house work we were in the middle of.

I needed paint for an outdoor project. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They helped my son pick out a great red color for our chicken coop. My kids helped me paint it, and the paint dried quickly in the sun and we were able to do 2 coats in one day. Within a few days I checked, and the paint had hardened nicely – I think it’s going to be very durable for this project, and will stand up to anything my hens throw at it. I highly recommend the St Albert location, the staff there, and the quality of the paint.

Every time I call this location someone answers politely and is able to help me with all the questions I usually have. Yesterday I called and talked with Jessica and I am so happy with her customer service! She collected a bunch of the little paint cards - some I specifically asked for and some complimenting the colours I asked for. She put them nicely in an envelope so I could go by and collect them later on. Very poor/ non-existent customer service. I went into the store today wanting to buy paint, and I saw the sales associate outside talking to (presumably) a friend. Has regular BOGO sales and discounts with CAA membership if you have your card with you. It can get busy at times but you can place an order and come back. Somewhat knowledgable staff. Fewer specialty products (such as ceramic tile paint). Sells misc other relevant products as you'd expect. Easy parking. Many local professionals use this location. My personal experience is that with the sales it's slightly more cost effective than competitors as long as you know what you want.
