Ted and the crew absolutely NAILED the repairs on my truck. I'm so incredibly pleased with the finished product. Ted went way above and beyond the usual levels of customer service. To several other "big" shops in town, my vehicle was just a worthless 20yr old truck. Now it's priceless, and back in its full glory!
GREAT JOB Fix Auto Kingston.
I feel I have to edit my review. While I WAS ecstatic about how my vehicle turned out, it wasn't completely without issues. The manager and assistant manager that I originally dealt with were great and acknowledged the issues and were adamant that they should and would be resolved, especially after a near $10000 repair, and NOT and insurance claim.
When I returned to have the issues addressed the new manager, Kevin McNeil, was dismissive and disrespectful. He treated me like I was wasting my time and blatantly told me that he wasn't interested in helping me or resolving my issues. My vehicle was returned to me with running lights inoperative and blowing fuses, door locks not working, and broken interior trim pieces. All of that I could deal with, and did repair myself, but the issues with the paint and body were not minor. Very disheartening for the manager to tell me that it was a "good enough" job for "just an old truck".
I left feeling insulted, frustrated, and taken advantage of. I understand I had a specialty vehicle and wanted a quality repair, and cost wasn't a factor. I wouldn't return to have Fix Auto Kingston paint a wheelbarrow, and after this experience, I'd likely shy away from any business Fix Auto Kingston is (or Kevin McNeil appears to be) affiliated with.
