A wide selection of ceramics available for customizing. Prices are as expected. Turn around time for firing is reasonable but around major holidays can be longer so allow for time. They supply all the paints and brushes. Staff can be more or less involved with you depending on what you need. Examples of finished pieces for inspiration decorate the shop. Allow for sufficient time to paint your item (min. 1.5 hours depending on size of piece) - the results will be better. Definitely a fun thing to do by yourself or with family! Check out their specialty days/evenings.

Truly a rewarding experience and so good for the soul. We meet Kim and the owner Lisa. They were both entertaining and full of creative ideas. With both of us in our mid fifties, let's just say this was a BLAST of fun. A must experience for all ages, even us bigger kids.

Took a 2 and 4 year old and found it less then relaxing as the pottery is out in the open instead of behind a barrier from little hands and bodies that could break the items. The store policy may not be "you break you pay" though. However, the grandchildren enjoyed the painting and look forward to picking up their pottery. Bring a paint shirt to protect the clothes if you are not going straight home and wipes for the hands, face and hair, lol.

This was such a creative way to spend time together with friends and end up with a beautiful piece of art. Lots of ideas, samples, pieces and colours to choose from. Staff was very helpful with ideas and techniques. Good activity for young and old. I will definitely be back.

A fun activity! I came here with a couple of friends a couple weeks ago and had a great time. My friends both painted mugs and I painted a bowl. The price was a little high ($32 I believe after taxes for my bowl) but it does include the paint & kiln work. The only negative thing I have to say is that our pieces (or only one of them) wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be, but a few days later. Although I think it’s marketed as more of a kid’s activity, it’s definitely suitable for all ages!

My daughters and I have had many amazing experiences with Crock A Doodle Kingston. Both Lisa and Nathalie are the ladies that were most often available when we were in attendance, and provided great information, feedback AND inspiration. My girls both love this place so much that we even had a birthday party there as well. This is such a wonderful place for people of every age...we love bringing new friends to try it out. We're always thinking of our next project!

Love this place!!! Before coming I had been kind of concerned that it seemed like it was more marketed to children, but it's more all age friendly than I initially expected which was great. My boyfriend and I had a great time painting for hours. The lady who runs the place was great about us staying longer when nobody was booked after us, and let my boyfriend come back to finish his huge peice later. It's a great bang for your buck and we've already been back a second time for more :) great date or family activity

Our nanny took our two kids to Crock A Doodle this afternoon to paint some pottery. As an FYI - they are saying you’re not allowed to use the bathroom. Both our kids (2 and 4) are potty training right now and we didn’t realize this. It’s not posted anywhere. Our son asked to use it and finally they let her take him but they made her clean the toilet after. Without any PPE. So maybe heads up, pee before you go ????

The first time I went was to a ladies night and I've been hooked ever since. Lisa and Natalie are the best! My girls love to join me too! We had my 7 year olds birthday party here and it was fantastic! Theresa was amazing! We are getting quite the collection of pieces and I'm always looking at what I can do next!

Great selection of paints and crockery, and staff are very friendly and helpful. A fun experience, and you get to take something custom home with you to mark the occasion. Also host special events and fundraisers - a credit to the community.
