Do NOT work for KEN FERGUSON. He claims he's been ripped off and low balls his Job offers! I thought I'd take the chance and offer to buy the materials to ease his mind. Near the end of our contract he suggests to bring one of his guys in to help with 2 dormers. I encouraged he let me finish our contract. He then sends 2 guys, who needed to rent a ladder and made it clear they were angry and going to get their monies worth because the ladder took almost 2 hour to arrive after they did. Once the other guys showed up we wrapped up and offered the last 5 windows and they agreed. 7 days later and Ken has ignored me 90 percent of the week and when he replies its with excuses with family issues. Finally today he contacts me today (Nov 15,2021) to let me know the home owner has made payment and he'll be sending payment shortly (at 10:08am) . After a couple hours I reached out again for his reply by email 2 hours later saying the wrong amount we agreed on the work order, claiming a door that's not on the work order, saying his guys took 2 full days to finish two dormers and 5 windows (and claims of clean up) docking me hundred of dollars off our contract!!!!!!! I am disgusted with this guys lack of professionalism and his conniving tactics to swaying me into feeling sorry for him. DO NOT WORK FOR KEN FERGUSON . WHOSLEY AREA, WINNIPEG, CERTA PRO!!!!! I am STILL NOT PAID!!!!!

It was taking awhile for the painter to be able to schedule our interior paint job while they were finishing up exterior painting for the season and we were about to go on a trip so I called the head office. They had someone out that evening to paint match and got a whole crew out the next day so it could be done before we left for our trip that week. Ken and his team were able to work behind it, in cramped space, and ensure not a drop was put anywhere but on the wall. The wall came out flawlessly. Kenny came to give us an estimate. He was professional, precise and told us exactly what the quote covered. Before the painting began, the painter (Eric) again went over what he would be doing. It was a big job and he kept us informed as the work progressed. We were doing a total exterior renovation so he needed to coordinate his work with other trades. Ken and his team was excellent! Stephanie the project manager in charge of our interior trim work was awesome to work with. She's very friendly, and personable with great attention to detail. She has great customer service skills. She listen to our concerns and addressed all our needs. The project ended up taking 2 more days than expected but we're very happy with the work and they did not charge us more than the quoted price. My wife and I hired Ken Ferguson of CertaPro Painters to repaint our entire home. Kens quote was fair and thorough. The project was challenging as the house was undergoing a major renovation, and some of the work was being done by us. I made the horrible mistake of thinking that it would be ok for me to o my own drywall work... Eric was the main person on site. He was gracious and patient! There were a number of times he had to redo some of his work because of my poor timing on the drywall coating process. Were there any issues- yes. All renovations have issues. I've experienced a number of them! In my opinion, what sets a good contractor from a GREAT contractor is in how they deal with the inevitable issues. Both Ken and Eric deal with issues head on in a very honest and professional way. At the end of the project, we de-briefed, and Ken was interested in feedback. He seemed very interested in continuous improvement. This was refreshing. Both him and Eric were also kind enough to not insult my sub par drywall work!!
