Communication problems with this company abound. It seems the different teams that come out do not communicate with each other nor do they communicate with head office at all letting them know what's going on and what their plan is.
So many times we had workers showing up unannounced or contrary to what we had been told would happen. The insulation workers had left exposed exacto knives in our lawn well away from the working area, I am glad our kids did not step on them and that I saw them and moved them to the working area myself.
It took them from May to the end of July to fix our small bathroom/bedroom carpet.
The plumber, every time he came out, was grumpy and unprofessional. The only crews we liked were the initial mould remediation, (Kaylea) the older gyp rock gentleman, Clint, was amazing and the final re-set workers were decent as well (Chris), except for the plumber. As a kind gesture for communication woes, they painted our entire bedroom, however, the painter did a dismal job in the bedroom with large swaths of wall improperly covered and white areas showing from underneath. The excuse was "it needed to dry fully" but I know a bad paint job when I see it, and they were still there in the morning when the paint had dried. He also left several areas of paint runs in the bathroom I fixed up with a brush after he left. It would have been better had the original plan been stuck to and we painted the majority of the bedroom ourselves. As it was, I got up at 4:30 AM the next morning to finish the paint because the re-set crew was expecting dry walls at 9AM. Their solution was to have the painter come back after the room was re-set to do touch ups. Not very likely if all our contents are back in the room. Additionally, it's now been almost 4 weeks since completion and we still have a sea-can taking up a lot of our driveway.
Short of it: dismal communication skills with this company. If you hire them, be on top of them or be left for weeks and weeks on end with a small job unfinished. Our adjuster said they're one of the better ones in town though, so I'd hate to see what other companies in town are like. It got so bad, I had contacted our adjuster about the possibility of firing them from the job and us hiring our own workers to complete the room (content removed, flooring in, painted, and re-set). They smartened up after that, a little.
