My husband and I had a shelf built in our garage. He told me he wants me to paint it to camouflage into our garage. The inside is beige. When I went to the paint store to grab the paint, I told the guy what we were doing and he told me it was more of a gray colour! I called my husband and told him he gave me the wrong name. He told me it wasn't wrong. He wanted to paint it the same as the outside of the house. (totally NOT camouflage) The man who offered to help was great, he gave me good feedback like dark on light will stand out and it could possibly make the garage look smaller. So I stood there arguing with my husband on the phone. Our conversation got super heated. I got off the phone and started just looking at the swatches of paint. When all of a sudden, this angel appears, we will call her Stephanie. She walks over and asks "can I help you with something?" I respond with "I'm not sure, can you get me a new husband?" She smiled and said "what's the situation?" So I explained. She heard me out. She came up with this wonderful idea called "compromise." She suggested that we can paint the actual shelves gray and the posts beige. I was so impressed. I had never even thought of that. She helped me make the colour and rang me up. I'll never go anywhere else for paint. Thanks to Stephanie, she needs a raise; marriage counselors make what like $50/hour? LOL JK
