There were 6 people in the store and not 1 acknowledged us as we walked in. We had to start the conversation.. then showed us a different mattress and 100 dollars more then what was quoted less then 24 hours previous

As soon as I walked in the door, Anthony greeted me warmly and asked how he could help me. I asked him about a deal I saw online that wasn’t in their flyer, and he filled me in about the even better deals being offered. He showed me a few different sets and when he had an idea of what I liked, he showed me THE perfect couch and chair for me. It was a lot of fun! Going through the paperwork and order with him was a breeze, he answered any questions I had easily. Thanks again Anthony! The rest of the staff were very friendly as well, despite our rambunctious toddler. We really enjoyed our visit and look forward to receiving our order!

Do not bother buying anything unless it’s already in store, in stock, during Covid. Ordered new appliances and paid in full to only be called a week later stating one of the appliances is no longer available as the manufacturer is replacing this SKU and the replacement product is $700 more and may not be available till 2023..... The owner stated they cannot provide the new products at discounted prices or any models at discounted prices outside of what they currently have on sale. They are dropping prices significantly to get you in store and purchase, with no guarantee you will even get the product. I overheard another customer in store complaining about the same issue with a totally different product and manufacturer. We have purchased many products from this store in the past, and our loyalty was of no concern to them. We will no longer purchase from this store.
From out of town went in knowing what I wanted seen the flyer was looking at glider chair ask the clerk if the other color was available she told me could order have it delivered 80 km from my home for 100$ and then told me I could order anything in the store and have it delivered or pick up in store when it comes in I'm 2.5 hrs away and then asked her if I could go home today with something from store she said no I couldn't so won't be going back to The Brick in Timmins that's for sure

When I walked in the store, I was greeted by Anthony where he explained the promotions, layout of the store and asked if there was anything we were looking for. I saw a few things online and wanted to check them out but decided to browse a bit first. Anthony came by to check up on me few times to assist with anything. I couldnt think on empty stomach so I left the store to get some food. Anthony was friendly even when I didn’t make any purchase and left the store! When I returned after the meal, Anthony greeted me again. I asked to see the promotional furnitures that I had picked out online. Unfortunately, none of them were available at the store. I like to see my furniture before I buy so that was a big disappointment. However, Anthony showed me other options and gave me all the time for me to make the right choice. I ended up walking out with washer, dryer, recliner sofa and recliner chair! Definitely a great experience at shopping at The Brick!

We purchased two major appliances today And thanks to Wendy Pollard with her vast knowledge of extended warranty, the appliances, make, model energy efficiency ratings , features the list goes on and on. . This lady knows her products. What stuck with me the most was her kindness towards my husband and the fact he was unable to stand through most of the sales process . Where do I begin... Ordered well over $500 worth of furniture (entertainment unit) along with shipping and assembly which I had shown as being an option online on boxing day (Dec 26th).. The day before it was supposed to arrive I still hadn't recieved any call for confirmation, so I called the store only to find out they hadn't even ordered it to the Timmins location yet. So reschedule another shipping date (after two phone calls because the woman working the desk hung up on me in the middle of a sentence), now making my shipment two weeks late. Fast forward two weeks with no further updates from anyone, delivery guy calls at 8am (I work nights so the woman who made the apt. assured me they'd only call after 12pm so I could try to get some sleep) only to tell me they refuse to assemble the unit for me, and being a single woman new to timmins I didn't have the tools or extra hands to help me! Called the store again and they do in fact sell many things that their own team can't assemble, so the only option given to me was to pay an extra $220 to get a contractor through the bricks website to assemble it for me.. Another four days late. Horrible customer service experience, no empathy or offer of help, hung up on, and it's so sad because I was so excited and had saved that money for a long time and ordered in advance on purpose... Would be very hard for me to return here..

She helped us narrow down what we were looking for while ably handling our questions and three young children who were not engaged in the process even a little. I spent thousands of dollars ordering a bedroom set and dining room set online from the brick. The bedroom set came in and was super damaged. Had to wait over a month before they came to pick up the damaged one and replaced it with one that still had a bunch of imperfections and chips in it. Then had to wait two months for my table to come in, without them even giving me an estimated delivery date when I called them to ask for one. After calling them back to find out what was going months later, they told me that they had called me 2 weeks ago to let me know the table was in and left a message on my voicemail. Um, no, they didn’t. I would have gotten that message but even so, wouldn’t you think that they might call back again between then and now to try to get ahold of me? Regardless, I set up a delivery for the table and chairs. I specifically requested an evening delivery and was assured they could manage that. Sure enough, I get a call from the movers on the day of, at noon, saying they were coming to deliver the table within the next half hour. Then the movers were super unfriendly coming into my home with my toddler there and for no apparent reason. I unpack and put together my table and 6 chairs. The table is severely cracked and every single one of the chairs are super wobbly. At this point, I give up. I can’t wait another 2 months before they bring me a replacement that will most likely also be subpar, given my experience with them thusfar. I call the brick back within 24hrs to alert them of this and ask for a return to be done. The lady only proceeded to insist that she send “service” to come look at it. I told her that I didn’t understand why that was necessary? I can clearly see, and offered to email her pictures of the damage on the product. Why could I not just get a return? Anyways, later I get a call from the service guy and explain the situation again to him. He calls me back and tells me to send multiple pictures of the damage to a given email address to set up a return/refund. So I do that, and I get a response from the email stating “no problem, we’ll order a replacement for this now”… What??? No, I’ve explained many times now that I just want a refund! So then the guy emails me back saying that’s fine, but as we are a Friday, someone has to come pick it up before the end of the day (within the next 2hrs as it is now mid afternoon). I explained to him that this was not part of my plan for the day at all, I had prior engagements and couldn’t be available. I asked if they could come by on Monday but no. He told me they HAD to come pick up within 48hrs of me receiving the product or I wouldn’t get my return. What a joke! You would think that since it’s not my fault that the weekend is around the corner, and they’ve already agreed to do the return, that their policy would allow 48 BUSINESS hours to return? Considering most places have a 14 DAY policy. Now the movers are calling me to come pick up this item and I’m scrambling to get home in time to let them in. First, someone called me to tell me they’d be by in about half on hour as they had a delivery to do first. I planned things around that. Then maybe 5 mins later, someone else calls me to tell me they’re coming right now! The movers who arrive take it upon themselves to literally start WALKING INTO MY HOUSE without saying anything! My husband literally had to intercept this guy to stop him from letting himself in! The movers asked my husband why he stopped them from coming in, and was now upset. Hubby pointed out that it was inappropriate of them to try to walk in without even saying who they were and added in that the product is garbage quality. The mover replies “I TOTALLY agree with you on that but we don’t make the products and we TOLD you we were coming.” …. When your movers themselves agree that your product is inadequate, you know you’ve got a problem. ANYWAYS, all in all, if I could give a lower rating I would. You can get better quality, policies and customer service from WALMART for crying out loud!

I have recently purchased an appliance and am on a waiting list due to COVID's supply and demand problems. The sales associate was very friendly and helpful. There was full discloure from the associate on the long wait time and all my concerns were addressed should I need to cancel this order. The associate was also very helpful in sourcing an alternate option. My only dissatisfaction was the large fee for bringing it in the home and set up of appliance vs threshold delivery, hence the 4 star rating. This is not my first purchase with this store and I have also been very happy with the service.
A huge thank you to Anthony and Chris for their awesome customer service. Shopping in todays environment has been not only challenging but extremely frustrating as most companies direct you to view products on their websites. Unfortunately, I need to see the product in the store. However, this all changed when someone actually listened and rectified the situation. This also initiated a sale that would not have happened otherwise. Not everyone shops on line... Anthony & Chris, thank you for listening.

You can spend 1000's of dollars here but this is the only business in timmins that will still screw you and charge you for delivery $60-80.
The sales consultant Wendy Pollard gave me a excellent service and saved me money with shopping items that were on sale 10.000$ savings difference with an other store this is why I have chosen the Brick.

Very dissapointed. Bought an item last Thursday and was told it couldnt arrive this wednesday because the truck was full but would arrive this Thursday on 2nd truck. Was fine with that. Well now I am told it was "bumped" for another week....so those who were having delivery got theirs but those who were picking up got screwed to wait.????two weeks for an order, I have a feeling come next Thursday I will get the same story. And no one called me to tell me either I had to call them!

Ordered a 1500 mattress online and it’s not what we thought is was in the picture it showed a pillow top mattress and the brick in timmins delivered a bed in a box…we went to the store and scheduled for an exchange…2 weeks later the delivery guys come and wanted to inspect the bed my friend accidentally spilled some Coca Cola pop at the bottom of the mattress pad protector and it stained the cover they said they are not touching that bed that it is staying here and we are not getting our exchange …I called the store and they told us that if we can take that stain out they will come and exchange it and to call back on Monday…we’ll today is Monday I called the store told them the mattress is not stained it did not seep down to the mattress and we cleaned the protector…we were told NO EXCHANGE we asked if someone could come and take a look at it the answer was NO…the owner even had the nerve to hang up on us and when we called back he passed the phone to one of his employees, also the extra money for the delivery was not even credit back to us, I really feel that if they are aloud to rip people off and there is nothing we can do except waist 8 hour day of our lives just for court, can you imagine how much money they make ripping off costumers, not very good costumer service and a get rich scheme over night by taking people’s money and not returning it, the owner even said you bought it online and not from us so it’s not our problem, we’ll said mr thief, but the point is I was mistreated and was not aloud to say your opinion, buyer beware if you buy online from THE BRICK!!!! Expect an empty wallet and nothing in return, oh and one more thing, my son walked out to see them and they started up their truck and F off and allmost ran over my son in the process, WOW!! Hit and run fellows!!!
Horrible ordered a chaise online said be arriving mid aug (order june)no call no updares, I call and they tell me it wont be in until OCTOBER!!! Meanwhile I am paying on their brick card for something i do not even have yet! Get told they have to submit online to change the terms as i.dont have to oay fir 3 mths b4 interest kicks in...but why should i pay for something i dont have yet and why should i be forced to pay interest after being forced to wait 4 mths to get it if I get it!!!! The person was kinda rude, and never even offered any explanation or apology, or help to get the terms of the order redone for when I actually get the chaise!!!! He said that was online and not them. (I guess that means I dont deserve good service cause he didnt make a commission?) Horrible service. Why put items on sale if you DO NOT have adequate stock to cover their orders and not make them wait for all eternity to get something their paying for!????

2 days ago I took a friend in to purchase all appliances, couch, recliner, spare bed. A young man asked if he could help us so we told him what we were looking for. Service was terrible....they had nothing in stock....wouldnt let us buy floor models....didnt offer other alternatives. Because of this service we bought NOTHING. We went to Bonanza and purchased almost $11,000 worth of items!
Unable to meet arranged delivery date. Was asked to give a preferred date of delivery which was not met. Was given a second delivery date and did not get delivered. Have been told that it will be another week again!

A little pricey for a senior on CPP&OAS but expected. And the salesman was able to find exactly the bed, mattress, and box spring that I wanted within my price range. A very good experience. No hard sell, no hustle, just friendly and efficient service.
One associate was going to come help us and proceeded to help someone who came in 10 minutes after us. Waited around for 25 minutes with no help what so ever. Never returning.

Had a "Goldilocks & 3 Bears" experience with a Hotel 5 mattress that we purchased and it was too firm. Wendy Pollard met with us to discuss a re-selection and options. She was very knowledgeable about features and manufacturers. Listening to our needs, offering suggestions, and using her sense of humour made this experience stress-free and most enjoyable. We purchased a toreno genuine recliner leather couch and love seat at the Brick in New Liskeard. We found that the leather scratched very easy, and the automatic recliner mechanism was defective. It made a crunching noise every time we reclined. Luckily, they replaced our set. The brick states that their furniture is excellent quality.... well our replacement couch , Marco genuine leather scratches as well. It is made very poorly. I'm so disappointed in the quality of the furnature at the Brick. We paid $4,500 for our genuine leather sectional, made out of cardboard.

Ken and Wendy were both very friendly and took a lot of time with us. There was an issue with wait time on a double mattress but Wendy was awesome with updates and provided free delivery because it was late. The delivery guys were friendly and helpful.

Staff was nice and helpful. Most products have to be ordered so you have to wait for delivery. The only downside to this store is its layout. Products are scattered over multiple rooms on multiple floors with different floor elevations. It's not barrier free at all. Now that Sears is gone, this store could benefit from a big-box layout. Parking can also be a pain depending on when you visit.

Great customer service, very helpful and nice. I even received a 48 hour window to return my recliner due to online ordering if I’m not satisfied with it. I liked the extended warranty option and I took it. I bought a sectional from Ashley’s, it will be 3 years old in December and already the springs are finished. Didn’t have that option on the extended warranty with them.

We had a very mixed experience here, partially due to Covid-19. We had paid for furniture to be delivered and installed. 2 days before delivery we received a call saying due to new Covid-19 restrictions they would only bring the furniture to the door. I explained that neither of us were physically able to bring this furniture inside and assemble it which is why I paid extra. The woman said that if the house is empty they might be able to help us out and install the furniture. However the delivery truck employees refused to enter the empty home even when I mentioned the phone conversation 2 days prior. The furniture got left in the snow on our front yard for a couple of hours. We were fortunate to have a moving company there that day and for $50 I got them to remove the back door and bring the furniture to the basement. I still had to install it myself. We went to the store a few days later to explain how disappointed we were in the service and the miscommunication. The owner was very nice and helpful. He sincerely apologized for everything and made it up to us. I wouldn't normally rate the experience 5 stars but knowing that the craziness of Covid-19 effected the situation, I don't want to hold that against them and they were very helpful afterwards, to the point that I would look to buy from them again. If you ever have a problem they are willing to do what they can to make it right and that can't be said for many businesses.
