I grew a lemon tree from seed for my wife when making her tea while she wasn’t feeling well 20 years ago. It took 17 years to get our first lemon. The next year, we got 3 lemons, and the next year I killed it. Walter carved it into something beautiful, to keep it alive in our hearts.
