Seulement tank à magasiner en ligne aussi bien magasiner ailleurs en particulier sur Amazon parce que la plupart du temps les prix sont beaucoup moins chers donc à quoi sert ce genre de magasin de nos jours si la seule raison pour laquelle les gens se déplacent encore en magasin en personne c'est pour voir et tester les articles avant de les acheter. Et s'ils sont pour les commander en ligne, pourquoi se déplacer alors ???

It is Hard to review places like this, your are likely to have a different experience every time, having said that I have had several negative experiences with the staff. I like coming to this store to check out gadgets or tv's that I will order from Amazon. Do not buy cables or adapters from here they are way overpriced just order online unless it's a emergency.

(Translated) The worst service I have received in my entire Best Buy shopping experience. This store does not follow Best Buy's pricing policies. I made the wrong choice to go to the Gatineau store when I could go to Apple to buy my computer. After purchasing my computer, I returned to the store for price protection seen at Apple. The person in customer service was not receptive to my problem. I asked him to pass me the manager of customer service who did not even want to listen to me to understand my situation. He just repeated the same arrogance and the same behavior as his colleague towards me. Following this service received at the store, I wrote a complaint to the customer service of the head office. They answered me after 3 days. They submitted my complaint to the store who should call me back. I haven't heard from the store since February 12th. I hope the Best Buy managers who are concerned about their customer satisfaction will contact me to resolve my issue. Ils m'ont repondu au bout de 3 jours. Ils ont soumis ma plainte au magasin qui devrait me rappeler. Je suis sans nouvelle du magasin depuis le 12 février. J'espère que les responsables de Best Buy qui sont soucieux de la satisfaction de leur client vont me contacter pour regler mon problème. Je ne compte pas retourner dans le magasin Best Buy avec cette très mauvaise expérience du 10 février.

DO NOT USE THEIR DELIVERY!! Don't be fooled by the low price. Items were damaged. 3 months with no replacements and no one will call back with a solution or time-frame. I ordered a full kitchen and washer & dryer in May. The foam was ripped off the dishwasher. The door was bent on the oven. The dryer was installed incorrectly. It is now August with zero help. no replacements and worst of all no one has yet to call back after numerous calls to tell me what is going to be done. I call every two weeks and every single time I'm told it will be escalated and someone will call back. Never happens. We had to purchase a toaster oven just so we can bake food.

I would have given it 3 stars if the staff member that helped me knew what he was doing half the time. I believe he was probably new and not familiar with things, but still afraid to ask for assistance. It was a VIP sale day so I assumed there would (or should) be more staff. Little was in stock and my purchase was the last on the shelf... Well, it wasn't on the shelf as I reserved it ahead of time. There are better locations, and I relay the prior reviewed who commented "I miss Future Shop", as I do too.

They ignore you if you wanna ask help or question they will say “we don’t have that” and I notice that maybe because I’m just wearing sandals and shorts and Tshirt in ordinary. My review is based on the Geek Squad department: Pros: They have a membership deal that makes it affordable to repair your tech. Cons: -They’re low staffed which makes line up and repair time long. -They don’t seem to double check their work, or have a supervisor look over their work. Recommendation: -If you have a lot of time to spare and are willing to wait for them to fix their own mistakes, then it’s a good service. Otherwise, it may be best to go somewhere else. -The service they offer is definitely needed and sought after, which is why some investment should be made in supporting and bettering this department. My experience: Every time I go for an update or system repair (this is maybe the 3rd time), I ask them to make sure everything is done in English. I make sure to repeat that to them multiple times, and that they even make a note of it. However, every time I go to pick up the computer after receiving a call that it is ready, I turn it on at their desk to double check their work, and notice that everything was turned to French. Usually I just ask them to fix it and I move on with my life. But my last visit the customer service was so bad, I had to walk away from the desk, or leave the building to cool down cause one of the Geek Squad was getting on my nerves. In my last visit, I spent 2 to 3 hours sitting at their desk, wasting my time, and waiting for them to fix their mistake. And that's fine, people make mistakes, so that's not what tainted my experience there. What bothered me was this Geek Squad rep who kept questioning my need to have everything on my computer in English. He proceeded to repeatedly asking me questions such as: "what do you have against French?" and "why does it bother you so much to have some things in French?" He then said the only way to fix this is to basically erase the computer, but that he doesn't like doing that too much cause it damages the drive. He had to leave, so I asked someone else to erase the computer since that's the only way to fix my problem; the computer was supposed to be ready the next day. the next day I got a call, but they didn't leave a message to I assumed the laptop was ready so I went to pick it up. When I got there the same rep tells me again that he doesn't like to erase computers and asks me again if I'm sure I can't handle having some French on it. Keep in mind that at this point, my computer should have been ready. I ended up requesting to deal with someone else at this point. When I picked my laptop 3 days later I asked to speak to a manager to file a complaint; he wasn't there so I left a message to call me back; never did. At this point, I didn't want to waste any more time on this. To summarise, a simple BIOS update turned into having to wipe a computer, which FYI thank god I had backed up cause they didn't do it properly. It’s disappointing when the staff doesn’t seem to understand why the customer can be frustrated for not receiving the service that they paid for and expected to receive. And it's unfortunate to not see any steps taken to improve customer satisfaction. When a customer asks and pays for a reasonable service, an employee should not question the customer's motivation and create a confrontational environment. However, thank you to this other Geek Squad rep, forgot his name, who ended up saying that the problem is easy to fix and proceeded to helping me no questions asked.

I came to our favourite Best Buy Store here in Gatineau with a new iPad Pro looking to purchase a screen protector. I was greeted at the front door with excellent COVID-19 sanitization protocol. I was immediately assisted by a Sales Associate - Thierry whom helped me choose the right screen protector. He immediately asked their Geek Squad technician to install for me. Only a 15min wait and a nominal charge. While waiting, Thierry asked if we had an IPad case. Thierry asked several questions on how we would be using our new iPad and recommended the best case for our needs. We always receive excellent customer service at Best Buy Gatineau and I highly recommend this store and Thierry to any customer.

Store clean and bright. Sometimes though I feel like the staff is in hiding other times it's like will you just go away until I make a decision! Prices are problematic when compared to online purchases. I normally only buy on sale when the price comes inline with the same product online. Their Rewards program is changing, hopefully for the better as it currently is not that great with restrictions and Rewards which are certainly does not give me an incentive to buy there. Reason Rewards points expire. Cannot accumulate to make a worthwhile purchase.

This store has some serious staff management issues. By that I mean that staff are seemingly not really managed at all. There are often multiple people at the "info" desk (which is itself a little bit of an irony), often there are no cashiers AT ALL, except at the CS desk, which also has to process returns. I have waited for over 30 minutes just to buy a simple product as a result, with a huge lineup. "Managers" walked by and did things without even acknowledging the presence of the lineup, and avoiding eye contact. And with all the people at the info desk, not one knows how to run a cash in case of backlog? That's just poor planning and a waste of resources. Need something a little bit larger, like a coffee maker? Forget it. They are all stocked up above and good luck finding someone to bring it down. I had to climb the ladder myself. In fact, I have to do my own research on products, get the product myself, wait for incredible periods of time to pay... So I simply don't anymore. I buy online, not from their website and I often pay less anyway. If you are going to do brick and mortar, you had better make the experience excellent or really provide products that you can't find anywhere else or at an unbelievable price, or there is just no reason to go into the store anymore. And in the case of this best buy, I just stopped going. The future shop that used to be nearby was so much better, if you can believe it.

A Gatineau manager came to serve me and inspect the laptop to tell me that I had dropped the computer and that he could do nothing for me, the store manager then came to see me to tell me the same thing with a so arrogant that I will never set foot in this establishment again! Completely contemptuous customer service ... yet, when going to the store on Merivale, the manager listened to me and changed my laptop for a new one without even asking me a question. The store manager in Gatineau did not make any arrangements to keep its customers, or increase sales !!! Sorry for the employees of this branch. Bought screen protector for front and back for my Pixel 6, was charged 2 installation fees one for front and one for the back, which was not supposed to be, because i just learned today the price is for front and back. Mistake 1. Back was installed incorrectly which made my photos blury. Asked for refund for back portion to buy something else. Employee said no refund, but replacement was offered. She also noticed i had been billed for front film and back film seperately and said softly to her colleague that was not supposed to be, so she knew i had been billed twice and did not rectify the problem, which is in my opinion STEALING, if she had been honest and refunded me the double charge all would be good. So they replace it, same problem. So i ask for a manager, he comes over and says he will refund back film because it's one price for both front and back and i should not have been charged for back portion, so first employee knew and said nothing to me. Deceitful if i say so myself. She decided to hide the fact i had been charged twice. So for some 30$ she just caused Best Buy on Maloney the lost of a good paying client. Been a client for like 20 years at least, spent thousands here but because of a dishonest employee, they will not see me or my money anytime soon.

The customer service and management at this store are rude, confrontational and would not take back a brand new product that another store took back without a question. Stores like this are going to put Best Buy out of business, leaving Costco and Amazon picking up the scraps. Update Jan 23 2018: This store is a total mess. Half the shelves have been empty for months, before and after Christmas, and they are missing A LOT of products you can find at other Best Buys. It feels like the store is going out of business. Update April 19 2018: I added a few photos of the continuing stock shortage. This store is still a wasteland of empty shelves. Best Buy is supposed to be the bricks and mortar store where you can take home the product you want the moment you pay for it, but half of the things I have bought at this location had to be brought in from other stores.

On may 12th me and my partner arranged for delivery of a washer and dryer in Gatineau. We both called into best buys automated system separately and we both were informed that the delivery would take place between 1050am and 150pm. After waiting around all day for the unit to arrive we decided to call and make sure they were still coming only to be informed that our delivery window was between 3-6. Best buy then contacted us to see how the delivery went and we informed them of the problem. They contacted us back a few days later and informed us that they would not be doing anything about the problem since on their end it shows the delivery times between 3-6. This was extremely upsetting seeing as they reach out and pretend like they have good customer service when really they refused to remedy the problem at all. This will be the last time we purchase any units from Bestbuy and will not trust their delivery service or customer service reps. Overall this was a terrible experience due to lack of customer service skills

Just about the worst service I’ve ever had. Went to get my Mac fixed at geek squad and they said it should take about 2-3 weeks and that they would call when it’s ready. At that point it had been a month so we called ourselves and they said it was ready but they just didn’t call so we waited god knows how long for nothing. The repetitions were too expensive so we decided to just buy a new laptop and they said it should be ready in 3-5 days. It has no way been three weeks and still no word. Poor return policies on electronic components. I went to future shop and had no problem returning a video card I didn't need. The Geek Squad tried to rip me off by not pointing out the obvious problem I had when I reprogrammed my computer. They wanted to charge me $195 to do an analysis when all I had to do was remove the boot up disc that they say was in the computer when I brought it to them.

First and second time going there were absolutely two different experiences. Incredible, professional experience buying the iPhone on a busy hectic black Friday sale in a line and two weeks later I had to return it because I just didnt like it. I rather wait for the Google pixle 3 sale. I don't know what happened, I wasn't given a good explanation, and nor did I get a polite apology from the worker that handled the return that took 1.5hrs. I was polite, yet feeling under the weather , I still waited and tried to keep myself busy. A few lessons to be learned here. If you screw up, apologize. Provide an explanation as to why I'm waiting so long for a return. Try to communicate respectfully by smiling and being apologetic. Customer service is difficult. Especially if English isn't your first language or French mine. I still was patient. I just wanted the person who messed up to come fwd. Thank you to Alex for stepping in. If a manager was in, and likely was, as it was at closing time that I finally left, they personally could have said a few words. Perhaps it was Alex as he has the temperment and character to be one. It's a learning curve. But ultimately a smile and apology goes a long way in customer service.

I was seriously disappointed with this store. I was there on the first day of a big sale. A smart watch, an advertised item, was nowhere to be seen where it should have been. Looked for a salesperson and could only get the greeter to help me. Greeter looked it up and found the item out back. I was not given any counsel or advice. I bought a laptop and after having used it for about an hour It was already having issues with downloading documents and it would take about a solid minute and a half to just load up google so I decided to bring it back the next day ( I had it for less than 24 hours at the time I returned it. ) It was probably just the one I had that had issues but I still went for another model instead because of the the good deal they had on it. the return salesperson was very polite and helpful, I had no problems with her whatsoever but her superior ( Salim ) Was extremely rude and and entitled. I totally understood that he needed me to explain why I was returning the product but he made some very inappropriate sexist comments about how I probably just did not understand how computers worked ( being a woman clearly means I don't know anything about computers ) and that I was not making sense switching models since (His words) the other model I wanted was basically the same ( in terms of specs ) as the one I was returning ( I returned an Acer Aspire 3 that has the amd radeon vega 8 graphics card and bought the Asus TUF with the GTX 1050 graphics card ). When I told him no, they were In fact very different in terms of graphics ( example for gaming purposes ) He said the model I have is actually probably better but If I absolutely needed to change computers He will have to sign my receipt to make sure that I don't suddenly change again and that he's doing an "'exception''. I guess he did not know about the return/exchange policy of best buy for laptops( Keep in mind he is a Manager ) opened or unopened products can be returned within 14 days for either the same model or an entirely different one. He was very unprofessional and I would not of had been as annoyed if he would of had just offered a basic exchange for the same product for example. But no, instead He argued that I had a perfectly fine laptop ( He did not try it, so he had no idea if the laptop had issues or not ) and that I did not have a valid reason in returning my product. If you're going to promote people like him to managing positions at least have the courtesy to teach them how to have good manners, or else they end up having little power trips like this.

This is certainly the worst place to purchase electronic equipment as no-one can believe what the personnel say in terms of specifications and warranty. Never buy the Best Buy warranty; what they say and what is written in the fine prints are totally different. I AM DONE TRUSTING THEM!

August 22, 2017 at 7:45 pm I go to the Best buy store in Gatineau in order to buy a macbook pro for my girlfriend. After ten minutes or so, I finally manage to hook a salesperson to come and show me my options. I ask him if there are still the 2015 models in stock. This is when he brings me to the models called "open box" (items returned within 15 days of purchase). I told him that I had a bad experience with open boxes and that I am not interested in this option. He ridicules my comment with attitude. I had to ask him if there was another seller who could serve me because he seemed frustrated that I was not interested in his option. He replied that there was no one else to serve me and that the open box products are certified by the technicians. He continues to devalue my experience. When I ask him to present me something else, he assures me that open box products are less worse than recycled items from Apple. And there he begins to criticize Apple and these products. Funny advice to give to someone who comes to buy a macbook ?? I had to cut the discussion because it was leading nowhere, I left empty handed and very disappointed with the service I received from Tristan! Après une dizaine de minutes j'arrive enfin à accrocher un vendeur pour qu'il vienne me montrer mes options. Je lui demande s'il y a toujours les modèles 2015 en stock. Drôle de conseils à donner à quelqu'un qui vient s'acheter un macbook?? J'ai du coupé la discussion car ça menait nul part, je suis partis les mains vides et très déçu du service que j'ai reçu de Tristan!
