I recently built a 20x24 garage. The quote was prepared by this store and the bulk of the materials were purchased from there. The bad, I did have issues with some of the material amounts, not enough of some and too much of others. One lot of materials was left out completely, this meant several return trips to the store for returns or other purchases. The good, the materials were of good quality for the most part except for the shingles which they replaced no questions asked. The store staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They delivered my materials for free, (thinking this was done as I had the entire delivery dropped off in one shot). On my last trip to the store I spoke with the manager and described my experience of the numerous trips back and the reasons, she was very apologetic and understanding, upon reviewing my story she called and offered me a store gift card. In my opinion this was good business and the store will continue to be my go to store.

Renovated our whole house and my mother in laws house from the roof to foundation, drywall, plumbing and electrical. Home hardware carbonear has the most knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff there is. From same day delivery at the most reasonable price, To finding the products you need. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else.

Needed one board and they cut it the lengths I needed it to be too it was awesome. Changing my review because ignoring customer feedback on male employees arguing with female customers on how many screws were needed for a project. Just because we bought one board to finish the project doesn't mean we don't need more nails or screws. This is why a previous 5 star review was changed to 2 star.
