Estimates and quotes were very reasonable, and service for quotes was great. Follow-through and getting back to customer were not great. Phone calls and e-mails were often not returned promptly. If you are trying to get a job done in your house, probably not the company to go with, although quotes are very reasonable and I'm sure they would do a great job. Finishcoat lost my business as I received a nasty e-mail and they said I was a small customer. I did not feel like a valued customer by this company.

They came in and in no time my kitchen was done. My cupboards looked amazing. Saved me tons on replacing them. No mess and it was so fast. No one likes their kitchen out of commision for too long.

Finishcoat did a great job painting our 2-storey entry walls and ceilings. They prepared the walls well, used drop cloths, were fast, and the end result was beautiful. The company was a little slow to respond to phone calls and emails to book an appointment, but it was a busy time of year. The end result was worth the wait.

Dave's team painted the exterior trims (soffits, facia, balcony and porch rails, and window wood) of our 100+ year old home. I was thrilled with their professionalism, attention to detail, and quality workmanship (they really scraped away the loose paint, took time with the caulking). Dave and Beth were very easy to each via email and phone, and stayed true to the quoted price. The painters were very friendly and courteous, and wow, did they ever work hard! The whole project was done in a day and a half, and the house and yard were left clean. I would definitely recommend Finish Coat to friends.

Horrible. Matt looks like he rolled out of bed. I over heard him speaking to his painters in a very condescending tone, but when he left, all they did was swear profusely, smoke, and play vulgar music at a high volume. My children were home that day and I had to tell them to turn it off. Just the fact that I had to tell them that was ridiculous. They got paint on my siding and attempted to wipe it off but just made it worse, then just left a brown streak. Go with any other company. It's as though they are underachievers and proud of it.

Last spring, I used this company to paint my living room/dining room walls and ceiling. They colour matched what was there, filled the holes from previous window coverings and art that the previous owners had hung. The painters were friendly, fast and did a quality job with zero mess. I have referred them to others and would hire them again! Very satisfied customer.

Please don’t use this company they are bullies they are liars. They use industrial painting your house and they’re not supposed to they don’t use proper ventilation and they don’t use drop cloths.

reasonable quote. matt is quite a nice guy, but beware of final invoice. they failed to paint certain areas covered in the contract. To be fair, offered to come back but the cleaning was already done. they bought new charges so as not to adjust final invoice for the work not done. I was disappointed at the manager for her approach. I am glad I did not add a tip at the end of this project. ps on detailed inspection I found some nail pops not fixed and improper ceiling cut at certain places
