I just bought a new "old home" which we completely were renovating. I needed a lot of painting and options on some cabinets and a rock fireplace thinking they may need to be replaced. I called Schmidt's painting and Barry came over the same day to look at everything. I had a very reasonable quote emailed to me the next morning. Chris was able to come the very next day to get started. He was great working with and around the other trades. Chris was able to save us a lot of money with some cabinets which he ended up painting which now look brand new, turned an old looking cedar ceiling into an fresh looking white timber ceiling. Cedar needs a special treatment that I was completely unaware of. He even sprayed an old rock fireplace wall which looked good except the 1980's multicolor thing going on. It was sprayed white and looks incredible. Thousands in savings. Walls, ceilings, stairs, rock fireplace, even some book cases were painted and everything was absolutely perfect. Chris was very friendly and worked with us on anything we wanted. He is very skilled, meticulous but also incredibly quick. I learned that paint can be the best investment during major renovations in terms of bang for the buck. I had no idea paint could be used in so many different areas and on so many materials. Renovations have a way of getting more and more expensive as things come up. I'm very happy I called Schmidt's painting and they were able to educate my wife and I about the possibilities with paint. I could not be happier with how everything turned out and the money we saved. Thanks Barry and Chris for being so personal, professional and easy to deal with.

We had a couple of businesses quote to paint the ceilings in our house. Not only did Schmidts come in at a better price, Chris took it upon himself to shuffle his schedule to come in on short notice(on the weekend) and complete the painting within a day. That meant taping and covering 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 hallways, 2 floors and a 20' vaulted ceiling, without having to move any furniture! Chris and his team at Schmidts were very efficient, polite and awesome to work with. A follow up was also conducted to make sure we were happy and again Chris came through with a couple small touch ups. We will use Schmidts for all our painting going forward. Highly recommended.
