On a Saturday afternoon I called Josh about painting the upstairs portion of a house that I rent out. New tenants were moving in on Wednesday and the place desperately needed new paint on all the walls and baseboards. Josh came by Sunday morning and by noon I had a very reasonable quote ($500 less than a competitor) and written assurance that the job would be complete by Wednesday. True to his word, by Tuesday dinnertime the job was done and done well. I am very pleased with the professionalism and quality. I highly recommend Russell Cassidy for your residential painting needs.

Made plans (confirmed in writing) to start painting on the 17th. Josh said he would stop by on the 16th at 4 to review. First he switched the scheduled date to the 18th, then he ghosted me on the 16th and never showed. When I called and asked why he ghosted me, he said "I meant the 17th". Nope. Too wishy-washy. Don't trust a contractor who can't plan his schedule or keep his word, let alone BEFORE a job starts.

WOW! Hired these guys to paint two rooms for me. They were clean, efficient, professional and the rooms look beautiful. Not a speck of dust or mess was left, only reason I knew they were even here was because the colours of the walls changed. Two rooms were completed in just shy of 6hrs and they even brought fans to help dry so they could keep going. The price was amazing two. Could not believe the value! 10/10 would recommend these guys to anyone requiring painting done. I'm already looking forward to working with them again.

Josh and Ryan repainted the majority of our house. Overall, they did great work, and were among the most affordable quotes we received. They were professional and easy to work with. We did have some trouble, as the old and new colours were similar in shade and missed spots were difficult to see until the paint was dry. This resulted in a couple of extra visits for touch-ups to a number of areas. Josh made it clear to us that our complete satisfaction was their goal, and that any issues would be addressed. It would have been ideal if there were no spots needing touch-ups in the first place, but it was nice that they were quick to come back to complete the necessary touchups as soon as they were discovered. At the end of the day, they did a great job at a great price, despite the bumps in the road along the way.

We worked with Josh and his team in June 2021 and we were very happy with our experience. We had tight timelines we needed to work with, and Josh was very accommodating and gave us good advice. His team painted the interior of our entire home, and did stucco (popcorn ceiling) removal as well. After the job was done, Josh offered to come back to do any touch ups, which was incredibly appreciated. Josh was proactive, communicative and understood how important this project was to us. We trusted him and his team in our home, and we would happily work with them again! The price was excellent, and the work was finished on time. We have already recommended his team to friends!
