How quickly the trauma of the 2016 wildfire that devoured much of Fort McMurray seems to have been forgotten. On May 3rd of 2016, our home was severely damaged and yes we had home insurance, but alas our insurance company put us through five agonizing years of agonizing hell before a final settlement could be reached on our claim. Nuco restoration was given the contact to repair our home in May, 2021. The budget and timelines were tight, but to their everlasting credit they worked above and beyond our expectations. Jacking up the house, landscaping, pouring new driveway, sidewalk and a new garage floor including the installation of 11 compression piles underneath the garage floor footings. The ceilings and walls were completely repaired and painted throughout, new flooring and crown molding throughout as well. The list goes on. Korey and Calvin from Nuco including their employees made Roger and I feel like a family again. This company not only gave our home a new lease on life, making it safe again and lovelier than before. We will be forever be grateful for this exhibition of fine craftsmanship and dedication. Nuco was the general contractor responsible for the fire rebuild on my house. They did a fantastic job on the rebuild and had great ideas for improvements they could do at no cost. Everything was torn out down to the studs and they did the complete rebuild. Replaced trusss, roof, everything inside down to the studs. Exceptional work.
