Great job paining the siding on my house.

The final result was very poor. First the sale rep informed us that all the doors would have been rolled, not sprayed. Their painter tells us. That all the doors will be sprayed. The painter did a fine job on the garage door and windows; however, the front doors of the house is a different story. The quality and finish of the front doors is very disappointing. There was no prep done to the front doors, he proceeded to just sprayed over the dust on the window frame. The paint wasn’t even dry before pulling off the masking tape, which resulted in the paint peeling. There was no attempt to paint over the old colour, between the door and window frame. In the attempt to satisfy me, he proceeded to roll the door to correct the error. There was no real effort to resolve the issue. I would not recommend this company.

I highly recommend CertaPro Painters. Their attention to detail is amazing and therefore the whole process is professional, smooth and on time. We had both interior and exterior work done. The quality of work is excellent and I will use them again. Anybody I have recommended them to, has loved them too. They are true professionals.

CertaPro was attentive and responded quickly with an estimate. They came to walk through and made detailed notes about my project. I actually like that they write a proposal instead of a short estimate, because that explains the project in its entirety. This is the worst painting company out there. Avoid at all costs! Dealing with them has been such a nightmare from day one. The sales person didn’t event bother to come to meet me and do a walk around until I specifically asked for it. The project manager appeared once while the whole project duration. The painter they contract was nice at the beginning but ended up asking us to stop bothering him while the only thing we needed was someone to be accountable for the poor job. I had a job done in May, two months after there was painting pealing already. I contacted the owner and I never heard back from him until I escalated to their corporate office in the US. Even then, he keeps giving me the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We lost the season and now I need to wait until next May for my house to be fixed while looking like this! What you see in the picture is only one side, the job is like that all over.

We were very impressed with our experience with Debbie Purgavie. We were looking to have our exterior home painted and had 3 quotes/appointments. Debbie was by far the most knowledgeable, responsive and thorough. We found the others to lack energy and interest. They offered the bare minimum and that was provide a quote. Debbie took a keen interest and provided us with multiple options based on our discussions and budget. She walked around the house with us and pointed what was great about our home and what could be issues. Certa-Pro also provides a designer to help with colour selections - one free hour. This is a great help. Selecting outdoor paint colours is very difficult, so having a designer provide their expertise and experience is invaluable. We didn't want to just paint our home, we wanted it to look current and select a colour scheme that would look good years down the road, and not too trendy. Debbie was very professional, but she was also warm, friendly and easy to talk to. Debbie can also provide names of other trades should you need them (not just to do with the job at hand). Today it is hard to get someone to come out to do small jobs, so we were pleased with this. Based on our quotes, Certa Pro pricing was basically on par with the rest, but provided extra value & comfort with the designer and by providing us with more than just one quote. The quotes themselves were very detailed so there was no question on what you were getting and it's all there in print. I'd highly recommend using Certa Pro Painters.

The estimate was extremely detail and outlined for clear understanding. The painter came in and explained the process, protected all of our furniture, painted then cleaned up everything as if he was never there. That was very important to us. End result was great. But the way the painters conducted themselves in my home was unprofessional. Kitchen was not covered like I had asked and a layer of dust was left all over my counter and stove. They used my marble counter and floor to store their tools. The floor that they did cover was not covered properly. They did not remove my pot lights correctly and I had to pay out of my own pocket to purchase 4 missing clips so I can put the pot lights back in. I do not recommend this company. Please note the vaccum in the picture is mine. We brought an electrician in to look at the potlights and he confirmed that the lights are up to code but were not removed correctly.
