Hired to refinish kitchen cabinets .Horrible work .None of the cabinets match .some received more stain than others, and clear coat is peeling off after 1 month. He didn't do the work himself. Had another person with him that did all the work. And I don't think his helper had any experience at all..I complained about the colour being off on some cabinets. He said " You won't get it any better"...Never again will I use Mississauga Handyman .

Misrepresented that fact that he was actually subcontracting the job out, and not doing the job himself. I wish we could have dealt directly with the subcontractor, as he was fantastic. Vic came to give us a quote and then tried to charge more for something that was stated to him at the time of him seeing the place (painting a bulkhead). He also ordered double the amount of paint required for the job, sticking us with an excessive amount of leftover paint and refused to take the paint back. It was extremely unprofessional how he came to our house and got into an argument with the subcontractor and then bad mouthed the subcontractor to my partner. Vic's demeanour and attitude was absolutely disgraceful, especially in how he spoke to the subcontractor. The painting job was fantastic... but that wasn't done by Vic. I would never use this company again but would highly recommend the gentleman who was subcontracted for the job.

I’m sure the company has many great contractors and they do a wonderful job, but I got the owner himself (if he his) Victor, the painter. In a nutshell, Vic was very rude, didn’t complete the job, was rushing to go quote another client. There are gaps on my baseboard without paint, there is paint left on my floors, he swore towards an employee of mine, and was bitter throughout the entire time. If you care to read the details so it doesn’t happen to you, scroll below. As a business owner I never wish bad on another business, or others, and have never written a review, but this man was straight out rude and not competent of a professional painter. Vic quoted to paint my office after assessing it, and I didn’t negotiate the price once. Upon completing the walls, he complained my paint wasn’t good and that’s why it’s needing many coats of paint and taking longer, took about 3days. I get it white paint is hard to paint with it, walls aren’t perfect but I’ll survive. Didn’t complain even paid in full prior to him completing. Vic called couple weeks after asking if flooring is done to do his touch-ups and baseboards. Quotes me on baseboard price + lobby area and touch-ups. I Agreed to the price he gave, on one condition he finishes on time(he said one day job). Comes back the 2nd day (today) to finish, says he’s done and ready to leave, and I point out at least 4-5 areas in each room with paint missing. Edges and trims that were incomplete. He found it very hard but went back to start doing touch-ups. He kept taking a call meanwhile in a rush to go to another job to quote them. Than he started getting upset when I was pointing out more missed spots, and said to me, “hey man maybe I’m not seeing it because of my vision”, so I walked him through room by room. He still didn’t finish all the areas and was standing before me waiting for a payment. I asked him, “I’m paying you, but if I were to take pictures and put up a google review, would you be proud of the job and your name behind it?” He responds, I’ll reply that the paint was cheap (I bought Behr’s from Home Depot, I’m sure many parts of the world use it), and that the walls were terrible. I asked him, what do the paints and walls have to do with missing spots completely? He got angry, upset, and stormed out to his car, and came back in with his brush to complete some touch-ups. He’s now back in my office, for his payment. He said he was done and I asked what about the paint on the floor? He mentioned earlier it comes off easy, and that he I'll get cleaners to clean the floor. I told him I asked him to use a tarp if not I had one, he said the problem with the tarp is when you flip it over and around room to room paint comes off (well maybe you shouldn’t flip it around?). So he went and got a sponge/brush, started scrubbing one area, gave up and left the brush there too. This is getting lengthy now, but all in all, he complained that he hates having to paint still at age of 65. He was sore from yesterday because he had to crouch and do baseboards for so long, he also told me to tell my female employee to F U because she wasted his time chatting (I’m sure she was following him around chatting to him right, not him trying to make small talk with her, and even took a picture of her before leaving without permission). Mistakes happen, Sh!t happens all the time, but you stand behind your service and correct it. If he was charging to do baseboards, and can’t crouch or has bad vision, why are you taking the job? I accepted everything else that the paint wasn’t good enough or the walls were bad, but when you’re leaving paint on my floor and baseboards have missing areas, that is a lack of quality workmanship. So go ahead Vic, tell people how bad my original paint on the walls was or the quality of the paint. You left unpainted areas and paint splatter on my floors, which he by the way called sprinkles on the floor as if sprinkles of paint is acceptable. BTW, I still paid him in full, my video of walkthrough of the place won't upload, i've added some pics

Mississauga handyman came in to put drywall back in the washroom ceiling after it was torn down by another incompetent contractor. Kevin did a professional job of putting the drywall back, taping it and mudding. As a separate job these guys also added new wood to the backyard deck and did a good job of sanding it so we can avoid splinters.

I initially was worried that the walls/ ceiling would look uneven because we had several holes in the ceiling that needed repairs. We had nothing to worry about because their attention to detail and professionalism was reflected in their work - you can't even tell where the holes were and the ceiling looks amazing! We are very happy with the results. They were a pleasure to work with and we would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have any drywall work done or popcorn ceiling removed.
