Matt was the lead painter on our job along with 5-6 other painters including Andrew, Rinaldo, & Miki who sprayed our built ins. Rob & Neil the filed managers came out periodically to check the progress of the job. Matt was the main reason that our painting job was a positive experience and was completed on our tight timeline. Matt is a fantastic painter and was an absolute pleasure to have around managing the site and coordinating the work that needed to be done with the other painters. Without Matt, I know that the project would not have gone as smoothly. We would insist that Matt be the lead painter on our next painting project. Super pleased with the results and customer service. We had a complicated job removing wallpaper/wood paneling that required the drywall to be fixed and it looks perfect now. The paint job throughout the house looks really professional too. I found the company super responsive and organized, which made the process really easy. I have used HomePainters for several jobs from plastering and ceiling repair, to paint (Matt was great)and wallpaper. For this recent project I hired them to install shiplap ceilings in two upstairs bedrooms. The wood I secured from Hoffmeyer Mill in Sebringville, and Home Painters was hired to do the install. Their Master Carpenter was outstanding. For every contract the work has been excellent, and the entire process from beginning to end, top notch. Highly recommend. Have dealt with Ryan on every quote, and he is really enjoyable to work with. Very honest.

We had an AMAZING experience with Home Painters courtesy of Ray. Our sales rep messed up pricing, the scope of the work and communication with the team of painters. Ray was able to turn around our seemingly negative experience. When the painters arrived they showed us that they had only received instructions for half of the agreed upon work and when we tried to contact our sales rep we were told we were now trying to get previously agreed upon work for free. We reach out to Ray who was the project manager for the job and explained the situation. He was helpful, understanding and most importantly solution oriented. Ray was proactive and got the job done in the expected time frame and was easily available for communication. They seem a mess to me, I went to their location in North York at 25 Lisburn Crescent, after receiving few emails which I have a proof of it in 3 interviews, a Questionnaire, a Video Clip ( seems more like promoting and marketing their business ), a phone interview which Brian himself told me to go ahead and if I can make it to their location in 2 hours rush hours, which I made it even I had to rush, and the phone interview all went well, as otherwise why I was asked to be there at 5:30Pm! A brush to do a test paint which I did even if I applied for a position on their site as construction administrator! and then was offered admin Recruiter. Then my interview according to the manager went well and he was happy all with my interview in there. Then Brian also checked while plenty of painters were there to ask for sub-contracting I suppose. After all these even both job still on their website , Brian answered my message they are looking for other candidates and finally answered, we are OK! We don't need you now. U judge for yourself what is their intention for posting jobs? Having 4 interviews while promoting their company ? When I pass all and received emails and good feedback even in my face to face Interview !!! No more comments or discussion or even feedback! taking mass painters from all over, pick the cheapest, pay minimum, and get the jobs done quick. Because quality works are not valued compare to cheap labour and mass profit and more projects.

He could not name the painter's who would show up the next day and spend the next 4 days in my house. Big up front "sale" - ok painting and zero on-site job visits. Would not recommend - substantial interior job - May 2021.

Good quality at a low price - and within estimated timeframe . Got 3 quotes to paint my house from 3 painters like most people should. Was a little leery in the fact these guys were $900 less than the other 2 quotes but he seemed like an honest guy and promised to take only 8 hours to do the job. His crew came in and did not leave any paint marks on the floor or anywhere else, they did a great job but still wondering how they were cheaper unless the other 2 companies were overcharging. Highly recommended!

A family member worker for Bryan at Toronto Home painters, and after working tirelessly for them for two months, he had to quit from the stress. They had unreasonable and dangerous requests from him constantly. After quitting, THEY REFUSED TO PAY HIM! I couldn't believe that a company so popular could do something so illegal and grimy - to refuse a hard working immigrant father of his pay. While he was there, other workers were complaining of their unfair pay as well. We had to go to the labor board and police and after months, we finally got justice and he was given what was owed. PLEASE DO NOT GIFT YOUR BUSINESS TO A COMPANY THAT ABUSES THEIR WORKERS.

I sat on this for a couple of months deciding whether to write a review or not for my experience with Home Painters. So here it is ... Had my kitchen cupboards painted by them. I could have had just as good a job at half the price if I went with another company. $5000 was way too overpriced. In fact, a couple of days after the cupboard doors were put back on, there was a paint chip on the cupboard frame. I emailed Brian to let him know, and his response was we closed the door too hard. He actually wanted me to pay an additional $245 to have this repaired. Imagine just paying $5000 and he wants an additional fee. This is my experience. Do with it what you wish.

We called this company to give us a quote on our 1,800 sq ft home (which includes powder room, kitchen, dining, living room, hallway, stair way to 2nd floor, 7 closets, 4 bedrooms) for repainting and dap caulking on trims. We are updating our house and paint is our last job on the said areas. The ceiling in the living room and dining, 12 door jambs are all newly installed and needed primer. No measurements of the space was done by Keith. He has only noticed that we did a good job on our home renovations which we think why he up our paint job estimate. He downgraded the paint we haved used last year on our kitchen and powder room which was a professional paint (Benjamin Moore Spec 500 eggshell) and recommeded Benjamin Moore Ben line. We are only repainting these areas as we replaced our trims, patio door and got some mud work on the hallway opening to the kitchen and wanted the same paint throughout the house. The visit on our home was merely a sales talk on how the company has insurance, background check on painters and so forth and ended with $14,000 paint estimate. It doesn't seem to be a company that can work with a home owner's budget.

Whenever you’re looking for a contractor to work on your home, you’re always worrying about whether it will work out. HGTV has done a good job warning home owners about bad contractors! But I can say with full confidence that Brian and his team is absolutely reputable and top notch. I’ve painted before, but their attention to detail is something I could not replicate. (whoever it was had jeans, baseball cap and asked for a $5,000 contract like he was selling cookies. Anyway, upon arrival a cost estimate is given in 4 minutes without physically walking around the house. The colour consultation consists of "here is the colour" and 5 colour tags. Pictures taken of rooms because 'we don't want any problems later on' he says. Hardly professional. Price was 40% - 45% more than competitors. Way overpriced. Time to finish the work was 3-4 days more than competitors without explanation. Worst thing he made it sound as if using another company was a downgrade in quality. He disparaged other painters by saying you can get someone cheaper but they won't be as good. Really? Professional painters are all overpriced? This is an estimator than books a lot of estimates and throws out over blown pricing and see what sticks. The reply by the company will be ' we don't have you on file' or ' we're not for everyone with our prices'. Then just go on homestars or other review sites, call a few and you can find a much cheaper company that's more professional at the same quality. Painting is painting really as this guy said, it's not too different one from the other. Good luck.

These guys are the best. Great customer service. They put a manager responsible for my project and I could contact him whenever I had any questions or concerns. They were always nice and very polite, even when I called on a weekend. You have the feeling that you are being taken care of throughout the whole process. Hired Toronto Home Painters to stain my red brick house to grey and paint the doors, facia and trim. 95% happy with the work. Brian was helpful in picking colour scheme. House looks great from the road. When you get close you can see that paint and stain was splattered on window frames and other things mounted to house (electrical boxes and hose bibs). Attention to the details was lacking. Had to lay down my own drop sheets or my interlock would have been ruined. I informed Brian the owner about the paint on my window frames and how they would now have to be painted and he did not offer any discount or to have them painted. Would recommend if you want a quick affordable job but not if you want a perfect result.

I hired Brian a few weeks ago to paint my house. They did a quick job and the on site team was nice and professional. My issue was with how messy the job was and instructions we provided were not followed. There is paint all over my tiles and hardwood. It’s literally all from paining the trims and it’s as if they painted my hardwood too. Paint drip all over. Areas that could have been sanded to ensure a smooth finish were not done. Even worse, we have a large gap of an unfinished area they must of forgot about. I emailed Brian to discuss my concerns, he didn’t even have the decency to reply. I would not recommend anyone to use this service. Edit: Brian called me directly to resolve. He did reply to my email, and seems to be lost in cyberspace. He assured me he will correct my issues. He sent his team right away to make corrections. Thank you, Brian!

Home Painters was the fourth contractor I’ve reached out to for some painting and repairs in my condo. I used other painters in the past and their work was good too, however, I needed more than painting done so I had to choose contractors that will do everything I’m looking for. Our painter, Tyler D., did an impeccable job ensuring that the job was completed to the best quality and managed to paint our entire home quickly over a span of only four days despite some very high and awkward spaces. He also showed up bright and early everyday at our house, was always professional and worked extra hours to get the job done in an aggressive timeframe. I requested a few rooms in my house to be painted. I was told a minimum of $1500 is required before a painter will come in. When I filled out the estimate form, there is a question about budget. One option is the $500 - $1000.00 range. Why bother making it an option? Only big jobs are on their radar. Disappointing.
