The experience with this company exceeded our expectations and we were very surprised and extremely happy with the results. We were hesitant about having our cabinets spray painted and didn't know what to expect. Our kitchen cabinets were originally a light brown, and we requested a high gloss white. Diamond Spray Finishers definitely delivered and were very honest through out the process with respect to time lines and ultimately the finished product. On the day that all the cabinet doors were reinstalled and we got to see the finish product, our kitchen sparkled and we owe it to Diamond Spray Finishers. Our neighbours are jealous! I would recommend these guys, hands down.

Wow! I love my newly painted white kitchen! My previous kitchen was oak brown with lots of grain. I spent years looking for someone that would be able to paint them white and remove the grain. Then I found Chris from Diamond Spray Finishers that promised he would be able to spray paint my kitchen cupboards in a Cloud White and remove the visible grain. Update: the paint did not stay on and it was all a waste of money. Do not use this contractor. I did try to discuss the problem with Chris but he would not return my calls. Chris recently spray painted my kitchen and did an outstanding job on the kitchen cabinets. Chris was knowledgeably and spent quality time in the preparation before the painting, during the painting process and with the cleanup phase

I called 3 companies to quote changing the colour of my condo kitchen. It was a dark brown and looked very dated. Diamond were the only company that was going to spray not only the doors but the trim as well. The other companies spray the doors but roller and brush the trim. We set a date and they showed up and finished in the time promised. They taped and covered everything off so well there was no mess. They actually sealed the kitchen from the rest of the condo while spraying and sanding. It took 4 visits to complete and turned out perfect. Highly recommended. I will add pictures when the mew handles arrive and are installed as I ordered online and they are delayed. Just added a picture with the backslpash completed as well.

Once agreed, the work started on time, the quality of work was excellent with minimal cleanup after finishing. The good reviews on this Contractor led us to choose him to re-spray our kitchen cabinets, but ours experience was miserable. It started-off with a good and professional quote, detailed explanation of the high quality paint (Benjamin Moore) and workmanship and 2yr warranty. We committed a 50% deposit and the fellow comes out by himself, very late in the evening, in a small compact car, to collect our 29 cabinet doors and drawer-facings. They were all placed in the back of the hatchback with no protection. Just over two weeks later, again very late in the day, he comes back out in the same small hatchback, again with the cabinet doors and drawer-fronts stacked, this time with a thin strip of posterboard protecting most of the re-painted surfaces. Seeing he was alone, and it was already quite late in the evening, we tried to help him. He got very belligerent and threatened to walk off the job. We moved to another room, and two hours later he had everything re-hung, but left some doors crooked and did not finish installing several drawer-fronts. Said he had no time to set straight (it took us three hours to figure out on our own as we had never done), threw a small jar of touch-up paint at us, and drove off with the balance of his payment. In daylight the next morning, we noticed many flaws in the doors. Cracks had developed at all the seams, where none had existed previously, and the fellow's fix was for us (!) to put Dap (Silicone) into the seams. It was obvious that Diamond was not going to stand behind its 2yr warranty. There were many runs on the edges, and paint-chips, which we tried to sand-down and touch-up ourselves. There was one area that was particularly poorly done, and I have enclosed three pictures trying to capture in different light. I took off that one Cabinet, and carried it to another Spray-Finisher, who was shocked by the poor quality of the job. A water-based paint was used, where normally oil-based paints are used for kitchen cabinets. This guy provided that if quality of that standard left his shop, he would not be in business long. He tried to correct all the runs, and the circular area that was horribly done by Diamond. I have attached a picture of how that cabinet looks after it was corrected (by the other re-finisher). I also learned that you can only re-finish cabinets once (and then it is less labour-intensive and more cost-effective to buy new ones), so when you have yours done, choose wisely...
