My experience with using Elite Trade Painting for exterior work was excellent. Shawn and his crew were extremely professional, helpful, and patient. Their quote was very reasonable and the painting was finished in a timely manner. We messed up with our exterior color choice (twice!) but Shawn helped us settle on a color we could appreciate and everything worked out in the end (his patience with us was nothing short of incredible, thanks Shawn). They even vacuumed pieces of paint chips out of our lawn! I highly recommend their services for all your painting needs and we'll definitely be using them again.

I would definitely recommend Elite Trade Painting. We have used them twice in the past year and have been very pleased and impressed with the service and final product. The painters were very professional and experienced; the cost was very reasonable and they did an amazing job of beautifying our home. In Jan. 2020, Jean from Elite painted our living room, dining room, hallway and kitchen. In Feb. 2021, Elite painted our ceilings, window frames, baseboards, closet doors, doors, bedrooms and bathrooms. This was during a terrible cold snap in February and the painters were always on time and hard-working. One bedroom contained very old wallpaper and the painter, Leo, took very deliberate care to remove the paper with great attention to detail. The colours look amazing and the detail in the edges and trimming was very well done. There wasn't a drop of paint splashed out of place. The other painter, (I think her name was Cindy), made the colours in our master bedroom and ensuite bathroom really pop. The painters moved all the furniture for the job and put it back efficiently. The clean-up was prompt and complete. The company was very responsive to any questions we had. We found out about this company through a referral from another one of their customers, and we have been really happy with their work. We referred Elite to our son, and they painted his apartment last winter. We will definitely use Elite again in the future.

From the first visit and quote through to completion, everyone we dealt with was professional, courteous and responded to all of our enquires promptly. We ended up having to push the project a little ways down the road to catch up on some finances, and they were very understanding and honored the first quote. The painters that actually did the job also did not disappoint, the final project looks great and we feel well looked after. There hasn't been any reason for follow up so far, but I feel confident that if we have any issues after a long cold winter, they will help us deal with them. Highly recommend this group if you have any painting to do.

Felt compelled to provide a review, as the service - from initial consult with owner Chris, to coordination/scheduling/communication with office manger Allie, right on through to the completion of the job - was a very positive experience, beyond my expectations. It was the first time painting the exterior in 7+ years of owning the house, and the before and after (considering how much the sun beats down on the SW facing front) is night and day. Many positive comments from neighbors as well. What may seem like little things, like a thorough post-job follow up (where a few minor deficiencies were spotted; totally understandable given the scale of the job), and a 1-month follow up on satisfaction, really exceeded my expectations. Paint peeling off was initially blamed on humidity but still happening in many areas as we head toward cooler weather. This seems to indicate either poor work or poor materials used. Despite two visits to repaint some areas (hence two stars) we are noticing new areas peeling. Certainly not ‘Elite’.

This is the second year that Elite Trade Paintng has helped me improve my 60 year old bungalow. Last year they completely repainted the interior and did such an excellent job that this year I had them caulk and repaint all of the original wood window and door frames on the exterior of both the house and garage. Absolutely worse painters I have ever encounter. They destroyed our wood floors and painted (as you can see in the photo) our jacket that was on the closet. You would think that they would have experience but these mistakes are unforgivable.I do not recommend them and I would advise you to think twice before doing so.

Update to my original review, downgraded from 4 stars to 2. Here's why: 1.They did not come back to finish the deck and shed. 2.They offered a promotion on interior painting in January. I was interested and contacted them, and they never got back to me. 3.The paint job on the front of the house, from last summer, is already peeling. Highly recommended! Great job, excellent attention to all details, super cleanup. My house was in need of a lot of scraping and they took the time to really do it carefully. Mike stopped by to inspect the work and was even more nitpicky than me about touchups! The only thing that could have improved this would be better communications from the onsite foreman. I would have appreciated advance notice of the day they would arrive, and he could have taken a moment each morning when he was onsite to ask if I had any questions or concerns. He was a little hard to get hold of. Minor quibble, though. I totally recommend Elite Trade Painting.

We recently had Elite paint our 1100sqft basement. The initial quote was comparable and reasonable. It was actually the second time we had them do work for us, and despite the 7 year gap between jobs, we were still given a discount. We had a pretty quick/restricted timeline, during a busy season. Chris was honest about the possibility that our job may not be completed in our timeframe, and then they still managed to fit us in last minute and completed before we moved in. There was a bit of mix up on start day, resulting in a minor delay, but they were more than apologetic. The rest of the job went smoothly and they even sent someone back to fix a minor issue in one small area. We returned to Elite because our first experience was good (also returned to do some minor touchups) and Chris (and his team) was always very honest about products, capabilities, timing/scheduling...we never felt like we were being upsold or over-promised, and the work was efficient without sacrificing quality.

I required my interior trim , doors and casing repainted due to an insurance claim. Requesting a quote and arranging a time was easy and the general manager was professional. He came prepared with the right tools to provide a quote for the services I required. The quote was provided within 24 hours for my ~650 sqft apartment. The crew was on-time, worked continuously and were very professional all day and worked around the contents of my home to complete the work. I was also working from home during the job and had no significant interruptions. They cleaned up after themselves and did not leave a mess for me to pick-up after. The quality of the work is evident and I would gladly hire Elite Trade again for future painting.

Painters got paint on my windows, then they tried to clean them and damaged them. Didn’t catch all of the damages until later on, brand new windows scratched. Chris and Brad tried to rectify, but unfortunately we are still finding how poor the work was 1.5 years later (which I’m happy to provide pictures of).
