It's sad because even with how displeased they seemed they still provided excellent service. It isn't right that they can do such an excellent job yet seem so worked to the bone. Until management finds away to keep them happy I will always score this low.

Definitely not a supercenter, they don't sell any fresh meats and have a small selection of fresh veggies. They do sell dairy, cheese, hotdogs etc, with a mix of dry goods and frozen foods. Staff is always friendly with good customer service. A bit on the smaller side so it gets crowded very quickly

Very disorganized and hard to find what I was looking for. And there was no staff around to ask. When checking out they had too few cashiers on that the lines were so long it forced people to use the self-checkout (which I don't like using). But even that was disorganized and the worker was just standing there rather than helping people, showing them where to line up or which station to use.

They shut down a self checkout section so we were stuck in lineup for 1 hour. It should be a priority to get us in and out. Covid is spiking again. Bottle necking us all in line for an hour is awful. And manager would not address it. Have him on recording telling me I was wrong for thinking this. Hope Health Canada sees this.

My go to walmart because of convenient location. Easy bus route from downtown hamilton. Just one bus. But this walmart doesn't have a very big selection of items and often out of stock. Also one of the smaller walmarts. I've never had a problem with the employees. All seem friendly and helpful.

When it comes to Walmart I have a love-hate relationship. I find most locations have pretty much everything anybody could ever need or want all within one store. And they price match which is great. I am a frequent customer here , literally like 2-3 times a week sometimes everyday love thier products and bargain shops and sales but honestly I went thier today between 4pm-6pm it was absolutely ridiculous it was completely packed with so many people for whatever reason , and only 3 stations open , I think it was 16, 14 and 10. Then ofcourse the 1-12 items al 4 stops were open but it seemed like people where in that line that had MORE then 12 items not all but a few people had more witch made it even longer to get threw the check out , the opened 3 other cashiers ofcourse where Jamed with people with over 20-30 items , and last but not least I came in to return a item I just bought after realizing I had boughten the wrong item and had to switch it out so ofcourse I know the procedure I have to go to customer service , I was like okay only 3 people that's fine seemed like the shortest line lol so I was happy THOUGHT it would only take a few minutes , but ofcourse Nope it took 30-45 minutes !!! Alll because dispite the whole store having lots of people , I have no idea where half the staff was to work registers , let alone a manager to help out either customer service or the cashiers because soon that 3 people line at customer service turned into 15 people waiting , to be seen because some girl and her two daughters kept arguing about some card that didn't load and wanted thier points or whatever witch was fine , everyone has their own reason to go to Customer service and have thier problem fix , but thier "problem" took like 20-30 minutes just them because of the card thing then paying for a bunch of groceries or whatever food they had with them then the girls bank card not working 4 times THEN Not to mention some girl with dark long hard randomly came over to customer service to one of the registers and I was thinking awesome ! Someone to help make the customer service line go faster ! But nope she came over and brought some pregnant girl with her formula who had coupons to get a discount on formula like that's all great but she looked like a supervisor or something and she sees a line of 15-20 people in a CUSTOMER SERVICE line and she didn't choose to help assert himself instead she spent 10-15 minutes helping this girl with formula witch ended up not working and her having to use the phone to call someone to help THEN taking the pregnant customer over to her till to finish the transaction as a 5$ off . THEN a gentalmen brought over a stroller and another young girl brought over some other item to put in the back of custsomer service SEEN the line and still didn't choose to help , bottom Line , if it gets busy like tht you should be prepared with having more staff available to assist customers to make things less chaotic and run more smoothly , and also teach the staff you choose to hire that majority of the team when a line up is very long usually as a team mate you help to bring the lines down not just for the cashier but for the overall store preformance .ive worked in customer service all my life and I'm not perfect , but I know and can handle the basics . But this tonight was absolutely ridiculous. You guys have good stuff majority of the time with varieties to choose from , but your staff performance and job performance needs a lot of work . Especially for busy times even if thier unexpected.

Don't ever expect to be able to call them to ask anything cause they won't answer their phones. I've flat out watched an employee stand next to a phone and ignore it while he had no other customers, he just stood there doing nothing. The one star is primarily for the portrait studio inside this Walmart although the Walmart itself has a very limited selection. This portrait studio is horrible. I had the worst photography session I have ever experienced. Not only was the Saturday afternoon photographer rude but she was consistently unresponsive to my requests (when someone does not like having their photo taken, please don’t go ahead and plan to sit them through pose after pose to meet your quota, listen to your customers). “Save money. Live better” most certainly did not apply here as the $25 groupon I paid for the photography session was absolutely not worth the stress and frustration of this session. Picking up the photos was another nightmare as the studio is so short staffed that I waited almost 30 minutes to pick up a picture I had already paid for! The lone staff member (who turned out to be an unhelpful manager) struggled to serve all the customers in a timely fashion particularly because she kept helping people at the back of the line who were waiting for their pictures. I was waiting for my pictures as well but somehow, to her, helping the people behind me in line first was justified. The staff at this portrait studio need some serious training: 1. Active listening 2. Working with a range of people - from young to old 3. How to address complaints in an effective manner. Save your time, money and sanity... stay away!

It is really a good store to buy grocery and other stuffs. But only problem is that it has only one halal section in the entire store and sometimes it goes out of stock as well. Has enough space for parking and wheelchair accessible entrance. When it comes to price it is good but not great. There are a lot of improvement can be made especially in the cutlery side. Or else in utensils section like other stores.

Poor toy selection. Sales clerks around the store hard to understand. We could not understand what the voice on the loudspeaker was saying. One clerk didn't understand what we were asking for (a doll crib) and showed us assorted toys on what looked like her phone. Prices missing from items and scanners are few and far between. Pleasant check out clerk so that is the only reason I am giving any stars at all.

TGFW ...thank God for Walmart! How did we ever get by? Walmart may be the sole surviving box store in Canada (aside from Costco). Great store. Excellent inventory ...everything you need. And, I like that they have lots of cashiers. I can zip in and out quickly or if I choose I can look at an endless choice. I also appreciate that Walmart hires older people. Good store ...as always ship with care and know your prices.

i go here all the time as I like saving money. But this store is sad, mens washroom have been broken for a year. Shelves are half empty. Most of the time they don't even stock great value water, not in the 24's anyway. Staff are very angry and unhappy for the most part. I don't buy anything frozen as it will be thawed by the time you get through the long lines. I went shopping 2 days ago and there were so many products missing off the shelves I had to return today to complete my shopping. There was not one cart to be had anywhere in the store. I asked the greeter and he was yelling at a customer and pushing a cart at him across the entrance at least 20 feet away. That was enough for me, I went to No Frills and spent my money there. Don't go to Walmart they do not care about customers at all.

Very busy with tourists most of the time. There has been several times when selections have been sold out. Parking can be tough at peak times. It is a very big store, however with lots of items. They no longer had photo printing when we visited a week ago.

usually nice staff but they don't have their priorities together they don't treat handicap people right. they always try to make you leave the driving carts out to your car and sometimes make you empty the whole cart into a push cart just to bring it outside to a vehicle, even if you are very injured and in immense pain. they do not trust anyone. There is a lot to take in at this northern location. Common areas of the store are clean while not so visible areas, not so much. Staff are friendly. Busy location, lots of season merchandise to choose from, ship to store for free. Pharmacy is extremely busy, seems to be short staffed much of the time. Walmart Yellowknife This is a normal size Walmart, not a Supermart. They have groceries but no cooler for milk or orange juice etc. Still a good stop with plenty of items. I want to point out an employee whom I asked where to find Krazy Glue. He knew of three areas and I went and found what I wanted. Great job on his behalf knowing where my item was located. This location is clean and can be busy. Good size parking lot and they have a McDonald's inside.

The floor staff were great on literally dropping what they were doing to lead me to what I was looking for. Niagara Falls Walmart supercenter is my go to store if I want to do groceries and shop for my other needs as well

The parking lot is huge and the location is convenient. If you know what you're going in for then it's a great place to stop in, especially since they price match. I noticed one of your fire exits is blocked??? As well as an employee and I got to talking and you have no security and won’t hire anyone even though the job is posted? “Loss prevention” and security are not the same thing. Feel bad for the people running checkout as there are so few of them and the lines are a lot longer now that the self-serve has been put in. Noticing a hire turn-over rate in your employees as well? Walmart is the place you always know to go to if you have an emergency or if you need cheap food. But tbh this one has some decent food and also lots of other stuff. Their health and beauty section is very well stocked and their clothes section also has some good (but maybe really standard) stuff. Great for a quick stop too, because of the short lines!

Although the variety of products is abundant, this Walmart store seems to have a hard time keeping its shelves stocked. When doing regular grocery shopping at this location I often find myself only able to get 80% of the items on my list, and understand that my list rarely contains specialty items or products that are niche. Sometimes they lack things ranging from Toilet Paper to Pork Chops. The produce is some of the worst I've seen of any grocery store. Bruised, moldy, wilted, pitiful, all of these are words that can be applied to most of the fresh produce stock available. The staff aren't much better to be honest. While many of them are polite and offer to help with a smile, it is rare. With arrogant customer service associates being the norm and nearly non existent managers around to actually Manage the store and it's moderately unprofessional staff. The store itself seems in good shape but this is marred by the obvious lack of cleaning standards. Sticky floors and dusty shelves, broken boxes and wood leftover from pallets make what could be a successful store rather unappealing.

Sunday of Black Friday. Staff hopelessly overwhelmed. A fight broke out. None of the staff members knew what to do. Supervisors who showed up didn't know what to do either. The manager who eventually got there didn't have the training to get the situation under control. After the fight was ended, the workers had no help getting the mess of shampoo and conditioner cleaned up. No one was there to help them get the display and shelves straightened up. I could feel their embarrassment. It isn't the fault of the employees. Management and corporate ought to have provided training and support for the staff having to deal with a problem beyond their control.

Absolutely terrible customer service! Avoid at all cost!! I wish there was a zero star rating cause that's what I would give this Walmart. My truck got hit by an employee named John in the Walmart parking lot. He was using the red machine that pushes all the carts that they pick up in the parking lot. He ran the cart pushing machine into my bumper. There is a massive dent in it now. So I went in to talk to a manager who got all my info and took pictures of the scene. I was told to wait for Walmart's insurance to call me. This was nearly 3 months ago. I have called Walmart back 4 flipping times and gotten nowhere. Nobody wants to help me with this problem. I don't have the money to fix it the problem that Walmart made for me. The big companies continue to hurt the little man. I will be contacting the police next because this is ridiculous. I didn't realize that businesses could have customer service this bad! I'm extremely disappointed and will definitely be taking my business else where.

Never disappointed with the amount of stock and variety they offer at this store. Albeit needing an upgrade for sure (it is definitely not a Supercentre) it is very easy to navigate aisles for what you need in a quick fashion. The transformation to a super Walmart is a great addition. The Food selection rivals a smaller Supermarket and the prices on most goods are cheaper than neighbouring grocery store. It's now my go-to for fruit and cheeses as they are comparable quality and better priced. The double down on self checkout os a little confusing at first but fast if first timers don't get in your way.

So we are over 1 year into a global pandemic, and our own case count is continuing to climb due to the UK variant, and nobody knows how to social distance or follow arrows (the few arrows that are there that is). People clambering together, no social distancing at all! I wish I could say that whomever is managing the store is trying to keep customer and staff safety in mind, but there was ZERO evidence of that! No one on the door monitoring for how many people are in the store @ a time. No one wiping down grocery carts. And an actual employee who must have just finished work, and was just doing his own shopping, came right up to me, within 2m, touched my shopping cart, and cut in front of me, and 2 other ladies that were patiently waiting, and grabbed the item I was waiting to get. Worst time I have ever shopped in my life!

Had a great expierence on canada day! My mother and I were interested on signing up for the Walmart CC a women named Diane took us to her till and made the expierence so easy. We need more people like Diane! She was positive, out going and so helpful. I would come back just to see her again! Nice job! Plus the store was clean and lots of cashiers open for the crazy rush of people!

Tried the online shopping. That was a major disappointment and 2 hours I'll never get back. I like the concept of it but what i found outrageous was that to price match I would hsve to submitt a request (fine) then I was told I would have to pay for my groceries (not thrilled) at the regular price and then in about 2 business days they would let me know if they would price match that item(don't think so). Won't be using this system again.

Very very poor customer service at this location. Front desk staff are very rude, no courtesy. Avoid this location if possible. I have decided to finally quit shopping here all together after giving these guys so much of my business. Forget about calling. Phones goes unanswered. Once i finally got hold of someone and ask for the availability of some products. I was told not available but when i went into the store shortly after the products were there. Lol. Not happy with this Walmart at all.

Very friendly staff. They don't follow you around or check your receipts before you walk out the door and the greeter at the entrance was very friendly unlike the Wal-Mart's in Winnipeg

This place was real busy and the customers were rude. Power went out while we were there and the staff (like any retail safety program I've seen) instructed the customers to go to the front of the store. There were a lot of mouthy customers and just plain ignorant people. As for the store the housewares area was trashed... Groceries were ok... What I expect from Walmart. Don't know if that's good or bad.

Wish I could rate zero. I refuse to shop here anymore simply due to the terrible or lack of any customer service. Management is a joke and very few of the employees seem like they are there to actually work or god forbid assist. This location has been on a downward spiral for about 3 years and it doesn't seem to be turning around anytime soon.

Don't order online for pick up... don't bother booking times lots because they don't follow them... I sat in my vehicle for an hour waiting for my order... whatnis the point of this service.... much faster to go in and serve yourself! I don't understand why they offer the service if they cant provide it

Horrible... bought a brand new bike for over $200.. there were only 2 left of the same bike, the first bike the brakes were all loose so we grabbed the other one and the back tire was low. So we refilled it with air and bought it. my husband wanted to drive it back home down the mountain he was so happy for it. 10 minutes into his ride home the tire went flat again and he ended up walking the rest of the way. I call and explain that I can't take the whole bike back can I just bring the tire and that was a big NO!!! Now we have to get a new tub for a brand new tire.. never will I buy a bike at Walmart ever again...nor recommend anyone too... would rather buy a used high brand name then deal with Walmart.. nothing is well taken care of prior to selling it.. you could buy you children a bike they get on it when you get home and it falls apart.. sad!!!

Lines are usually long, and shopping carts are everywhere in the parking lot so it's hard to find a spot but it's good for inexpensive items.
