Following my call to my Aviva insurance company, I was referred to the FixAuto garage (5400 Ferrier Street) to estimate the damage to my vehicle. When I arrived, I parked my car in the car park next to the front door. I put my vehicle exactly on a parking space, straight ahead, without exceeding the lines and without touching any nearby object. Subsequently, I went to the reception. A few minutes later, a gentleman arrived. Without showing up or explaining the procedure, he asks for the keys and goes out to see my car. This gentleman whose name I do not know (the world Mike call) took pictures of all sides of my car while it's just the trunk that is the subject of my visit. He comes back, calls another gentleman and they go out again together. Returning soon after, these people make me remark that I must be careful near which car I have to park and that my car is too close to a Tesla car on the pretext of its price. Sir added that normally if someone touches the car next door they call the police. Already frustrated, I felt denigrated for being treated this way. In the meantime, the gentleman left leaving the instructions to the receptionist. The staff, among themselves, speak an unknown language, other than French and English. Madam at the reception gives me the papers to sign. I explain that I only want the estimate for the moment. After knowing it, the receptionist continues to insist that if I refuse the work at home, I have to look for another way to make this estimate although it was Aviva who had referred me home. After negotiating fully, she finally agreed to send the esteem of the work to the insurance company and assured me of the company will receive the said document. On that, I left the premises of FIXAUTO. To my surprise, in about thirty minutes, an insurance agent contacted me to tell me that FIXAUTO refused to make the estimate requested given the state of my car (?? !!!) À la suite de mon appel à ma compagnie d’assurance Aviva, j’ai été référée au garage FixAuto (5400 rue Ferrier) pour se faire l’estimation de dommage de mon véhicule. En arrivant, j’ai stationné ma voiture sur le parking à côté de la porte d’entrée. J’ai mis mon véhicule exactement sur une place de stationnement, tout droit, sans dépasser les lignes et sans toucher aucun objet voisin. Par la suite, je me suis présentée à la réception. Quelques minutes plus tard, un monsieur est arrivé. Sans se présenter ni expliquer la procédure, il demande les clefs et sort pour voir ma voiture. Ce monsieur dont je ne connais pas l’identité (le monde l'appel Mike) a pris les photos de tous les côtés de ma voiture tandis que c’est juste le coffre qui est le sujet de ma visite. Il revient, appelle un autre monsieur et ils sortent encore une fois ensemble. En revenant peu après, ces personnes me font la remarque que je dois faire attention près de quelle voiture je dois me stationner et que ma voiture est trop proche d’une voiture Tesla en prétextant son prix. Monsieur a ajouté que normalement si quelqu’un touche la voiture à côté on appelle la police. Déjà frustrée, je me suis senti dénigrée d’avoir être traitée de cette manière. Entre temps, le monsieur est parti en laissant les directives à la réceptionniste. Le personnel, entre eux, parle un langage inconnu, autre que le français et l’anglais. Madame à la réception me donne les papiers à signer. Je lui explique que je ne veux que l’estimation pour le moment. Après l’avoir su, la réceptionniste continue à insister en disant si je refuse les travaux chez eux, je dois aller chercher une autre façon de faire cette estimation bien que ce soit Aviva qui m’avait référée chez eux. Après avoir négocier pleinement, elle a finalement accepté d’envoyer l’estime des travaux à la compagnie d’assurance et m’a assuré de la compagnie recevra le dit document. Sur cela, j’ai quitté les locaux de FIXAUTO. À ma grande surprise, dans trentaine de minutes à peu près, un agent d’assurance me contacte pour me prévenir que FIXAUTO a refusé de procéder l’estimation demandée vu l’état de ma voiture (??!!!)

I was referred to this location by my mechanic. When I called the receptionist, she was rude to say the least. She kept telling me that my mechanic should help me, even though I told her he referred me. Then she told me that towing is expensive and I should find another place closer to my house, even though I said towing will not be an issue. Finally she told me that they where very busy and insinuated that I would not get an appointment even though the online booking service showed the day after next completely open. I'm not sure why you need to make so many excuses. Telling the truth is always the best policy... just tell me you don't want my business. I probably should have read the Google reviews prior to calling, as this receptionist seems to be a regular feature. Additionally, most of the postie reviewers curiously only have one or two previous reviews. Maybe I should be thankful though, if the receptionist is this bad at customer service I don't want to think about how I would be treated by the rest of the crew.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND SUCH A WASTE OF MY TIME!!! I had to get my car mirror fixed. First time, they ordered the wrong mirror, they called me 2 hours later into my appointment to tell me to come get my car. A month later, they finally ordered the right mirror, but realized it was broken 3 hours into my appointment again. Seriously?? It doesn't take a genius to figure that one out! AVOID THIS GARAGE IF YOU CAN!!!

The Service at Auto Fix on Ferrier was Horrible from start to end. They gave me an appointment 5 weeks after my accident, then they called to say they hadn't received the parts ( that were supposedly ordered 5 weeks prior) and they will call me to reschedule. A few days later they told me I didn't show up for my ( canceled appointent) so they moved my date another 4 weeks. The day I brought the car in, I waited almost an hour at Auto Fix for the driver to come pick me up to get the rental car from Enterprise on de la Savane,( 3 minute drive) and then they made me wait another 30 minutes to offer me a car, Not equivalent to my car but I had no Choice and no Time to waste. Fast forward both Auto Fix and Enterprise Customer service was HORRIBLE. The staff are RUDE and show no compassion to the customer. I will NEVER use them again . There are so many other Car repair shops and Car Rental places that offer better service!!!

I was referred here by my insurance broker, probably one of the worst customer service ever. They treat you and your car like garbage. When delivering my car, there was paint all over the windows and the car and the fuel tank cover was shaking. When i told them, after waiting over 20 mins, a gentleman came out and was in a very bad mood, showed no empathy or respect. He just wanted to prove me wrong and kept saying this how it’s supposed to be, he cleaned up the pain residue with a cloth and said it will get better with warm water, rain and time. He refused to acknowledge the fuel tank cover issue and got very offended. After advising multiple times that i have nothing against him and just want my car in the condition that i left, he said he will call Honda to verify if the fuel tank lid is supposed to rattle and take it from there. You’re better off going somewhere where you business is appreciated.

(Translated) I come to get my toyota Highlander 2009, the bumper is very misaligned and a gentleman tries to make me understand that this is why my toyota 2009 is very old why you can not align the bumper. So over with these words that I no longer had the courage to argue with this gentleman. I will have my car repaired elsewhere and pay again. Curiously when I put my car for repair this part was well aligned, it is rather the part that is as if we had stuck with superglue glue that was misaligned. (See photos) (Original) Je viens chercher mon toyota Highlander 2009, le pare-choc est très mal aligné et un monsieur essaye de me fait comprendre que c'est par ce que mon toyota 2009 est très vielle raison pour laquelle on ne peut pas aligné le pare-choc. Tellement dessus par ces paroles que j'ai plus eu le courage de discuter avec ce monsieur. Je vais faire réparer mon auto ailleurs et payer de nouveau. Curieusement quant je déposait mon auto pour réparation cette partie était bien aligné, c'est plutôt la partie qui est comme si on avait collé avec la colle superglue qui était mal aligné. Referred to this fix auto by Desjardins insurance for significant repairs (over 4k$). The repairs were well done, but the car was given back to me in a disgusting state. The inside of the car was covered in dust, grease, and stains. After showing the disaster to the manager (Pasquale), he took it on himself to clean it and hand it over the following day. However, when I came to pick it up the next day, the grease spots were gone, but everything else (stains, dust, dirt, etc.) was still everywhere in the car. The Manager even dared to tell me that "we are not a carwash". Really, you will trash my car and tell me that? Ok, pleasure never doing business with you again! Oh and you can be sure I'll tell Desjardins about that too. Terrible customer service!

I just brought my car on Wednesday Dec 1 for repairs to my bumper. 2 days later on the Friday i was told that my car was going to be ready, however i never received a call to inform me i had to call you 2 times. When i went to pick my car it was already dark. The next day Dec 4th i went out to see what the repairs were. Part of them were done and i found a scratch and 2 places where paint was not fixed, so i returned this morning to ask someone. Someone came out and looked at my car and said "that wasn't there maybe it was you who did that so saying I caused damage to my car when it wasn't in my possession. i told him it was impossible as i didn't hit anything on the way home. I was not happy. I will have to see if something can be done or i will look elsewhere for repairs. And if i am able to I will not be returning to your place of business. Very DISAPPOINTED

Visited 3 different body shops. The first two quoted me 650-700$ for a small door panel scratch from a bumper who hit my parked car and 3 days of work. FixAuto rep suggested to not fix it and if i wanted, to buy a touch up paint from them for 50$ (2 paints) , wet sand and polish. They quoted me about 1.5h polish job if I wanted them to do it, which was reasonable. Did the job myself pretty decently!

My car was total loss and was towed to their garage. A few days later, at 11:40am, I was asked when I can come to pick up my stuff and the license plate. I said before 2pm and they said okay. At 1pm they called and said sorry your car is already towed to the utilization center, so I need to call them to get my stuff. Now I'm supposed to drive 1 hour from Montreal to get my things because they could not let me know in advance.

My dealership sent me here for a rust repair and I have let them know to never send me again. They have no idea what good customer service is. My dealership told me i was allowed to show up 10 minutes earlier for my appointment (I was scared i'd be late for work), and well, let's just say they weren't too happy. I received passive aggressive comments from the receptionist even after I apologized about 3 or 4 times. When I picked up my car, I wasn't even greeted with a hello, only with a "What's your name?". She gave me my keys and said goodbye. She didn't have anyone show me where my car was... This was shocking because i've been to other shops before where they escorted me to my car and also showed me what they did, so I can thank them properly... Everything about this place was off in terms of customer service. It was quite disappointing and awkward.

After reading the reviews i had a bad impression of the place but i was totally wrong its a big mistake to confuse busy with arrogant. La voiture à été amenée chez eux le 30 janvier et aujourd'hui (22 mars) je suis allé chercher ma voiture pour la 3e fois afin de remplacer les phares (qui étaient défectueux depuis le début, les phares qu'ils avaient installés étaient incompatibles avec mon véhicule) et j'attends toujours la fameuse pièce oubliée qui aurait dû être changée dès le début.

This was my first experience at this place. Never met them before but came highly recommended. I had my front bumper replaced 2 weeks ago at fix auto decarie. I guy named nick took care of me from a to z. Yesterday, while backing out of a parking spot, I hit a concrete pillar with the front bumper and the damn thing ripped out of place. Not to mention the quarter panel being pushed in and a nice dent! I emailed nick a picture of what I had done. He asked me to come in so he could take a look. He said you would try to help me out. I came in today. He took a look. Asked me for the keys and took the car in back. 30 minutes later he hands me back the keys and wishes me a good day. The bumper fixed! The invoice 0$ and the feeling of getting great customer service? Priceless! Wow. Thank you fix auto decarie for your help. You are on the top of my list for recommendations. Anyone can fix a bumper, but it takes a professional to treat a customer right. A+

I was referred to this specific Fix Auto by my insurance company and I enjoyed their service. The secretary was understanding and patient. They did a good body job on my car and they cleaned my car inside out (which I really needed). The only reason I give 4 stars is because I was only told that I have life time guarantee, however they did not inform me of what it convers. P.S They make sure that if you have an appointment you are their priority. The secretary told the client she was serving to wait because I already had an appointment. Overall, it was a good experience.

Great service, great customer service. A guy scratched my car a few weeks back, brought the car in for an estimate. The owner came outside to take a look, gave me an estimate. I thought it was really expensive, but it was still about 500$ less than the dealership, so I brought the car in for the repairs. They told me it would take three days, they called me back exactly three days later, my car was shiny and looked like new, and the price was as quoted. They even vacuumed the interior of my car. I was really happy with the service, the repairs and the customer service. I hope I won't have to go again, but if I do need repairs on my car, I'm coming back to Fix-Auto Décarie.

STAY AWAY, NOT WORTH THE HEADACHES Where does one begin, $19,000.00 job 38 days at the garage, finally get the car back, 3 parts missing on the car, hood is higher on one side than the other, deflector is not glued on either side. fog light not working, charged for wheel locks saying that the key is not in the trunk (it was) AWD sign which they ordered was missing, alignment not done. Went back the next morning before leaving for vacation, light and deflector fixed with a promise to fix the rest when i got back. finally get an appointment 10 days after i got back. fixed the hood but chipped the corner, got the AWD sign but installed on the wrong side of the car, side finish piece is crocked. best of all is they must have had the car near the paint shop, fresh paint inside the truck, paint spots all over the car plus scratches made with the buffer , side running board black plastic used buffer on it now all scratched up, never inspected the inside of the car now both seats will have to be replaced... the list goes on. At least got a refund for the wheel locks. Back to the insurance comp tomorrow to find a new garage, this really puts the rest of the work under scrutiny, was it done properly is the car safe.... BEST TO AVOID A real shame as in the past they had done good work.

Literally garbage work, never go here. Brought my car in for a basic dent, when I got it back they hadn't screwed my headlight back in, they broke two pieces of trim that didn't even need to be repaired, one of them was barely attached to the car they also left multiple grease stains in the interior. When I brought it back for them to fix the owner treated me as though I was wrong for not being satisfied. They tried to fix the pieces but didn't put them back properly, one piece is glued where it shouldn't be, the screws are mismatched and they didn't clean any of the stains they left on the interior. I have literally never had a worse experience with a mechanic/body shop do not bring your car here you'll get it back worse than it was in the first place.

Now I have to pay for it and it screw up the whole electronic of the car. My car registered to AAA Jardinage. Don't respond that you have no such client . Do not strongly recommend.

Avoid under all circumstances, even if your insurance insists you should take it here, don’t do it. They had to fix and paint the bumper of a Crosstrek, the white they used was not even close to the actual color, the paint job was so bad that it was possible to see the original gray of the plastic in some areas, also, the poorly finished edges from where they removed the protecting tape where quite obvious and they painted over the decorative black parts of the bumper that are not supposed to be painted. The most annoying part was the person responsible for giving me the car arguing that the difference in color was because of the angle by the sun. Do not swallow it, because they will tell you that as you drive on the road (I do not know what a car is for then ...) there are pebbles and stones that hit the bumper, so they can not guarantee this work. Ils ont fait la réparation de la peinture sur mon véhicule 2 fois et le travail est inacceptable. La première fois, ils ont remis la voiture avec des coulisses et du "orange peel" et ils ont même taché le dessous du rétroviseur. Un inspecteur a fait un rapport sur le travail, il a mentionné que c'était définitivement mal fait. Au lieu d'exiger un montant réaliste, il demandent des montants moins élevés pour faire le travail. Ils ont donc des références des assurances. Cependant, ils font le travail trop rapidement pour rentrer dans leur argegnt et comme les consommateurs ne connaissent pas toujours ça, ils s'en tirent! Et apparement, j'ai discuté avec un carrossier et il m'a expliqué que les FixAuto sont les pires place à aller. Si votre compagnie d'assurance vous réfère à un FixAuto, refusez! Et surtout si c'est FixAuto Décarie qui prétend même faire des véhicules de luxe! Aussi, concernant leur garantie à vie sur la peinture. N'avalez pas ça, car ils vont vous dire que comme vous roulez sur la route (je ne sais pas à quoi sert une voiture alors...) il y a des cailloux et des pierres qui frappent le pare-choc, donc ils ne peuvent pas garantir ce travail. Vous devrez donc repayer pour votre bumper. Soyez avertis et allez ailleurs.

J'ai acheter le radiateur neuf pour 100$ et la lumiere 50$ et ca m'a pris un gros deux heures a changer.... 100$ pour estimé combien couterait les réparations ca leur a pris (5minutes...), du vrai vol....les garages le font gratuitement d'habitude. Je suis étudiant et je n'avais pas les moyens pour le réparer la journée meme alors ils m'ont chargé des frais de 60$/jour pour laisser ma voiture dans leur parking a l'extérieur...Je paie 60$ par mois pour un stationnement extérieur ou je vie...Si jamais vous avez un accident sur décarie ne laissez surtout pas le remorqueur déposer votre voiture la, ils vont vous voler le plus d'argent qu'ils peuvent!!!! Je ne recommande absolument pas ce garage.
