My experience with online shopping wasn’t great. I was struggling to purchase something that was low in stock. I called the Argentia location and spoke the the manager (I forgot her name #sorry) and she confirmed my items were there and put them on hold for me. We were expecting snow the next day and I wasn’t going to be able to make it in myself so I sent my boss to get it for me. #yourewelcome Paying over the phone was a breeze and the pick up was simple too for the person I sent. The service was amazing and while I have yet to wash and use my items at the time of this review, I have no doubt I will love them just by feeling them in their package! So happy and loved the manager there!!!! Great job!

The staff are welcoming and always smiling! The designers are very helpful they don't rush with you and have wonderful ideas for each room you are doing. I've always have a wonderful experience when I shop, the quality of the merchandise is great!

Had the best experience in years at a store in GTA. Angie the store manager and the entire team was extremely helpful from the day we entered in the store till we left from the store after purchasing. She made the process of purchasing our furniture for the house very easy. The customer service is the best. If you are looking for a store to buy your furniture with great customer service, you need to visit this store of Urban Barn.

Made a purchase end of February. Was told I'd be contacted when item is avaliable- no time line. I go on vacay March 2-19. Urban Barn attempted a delivery on the 18. No mutual contact w/ me whatsoever. Along w/ this unsavoury act, UB emails me an 'unconfirmed delivery notice' w/ my name n address together w/ the names and address of others on this list. This is an egregious breed of my privacy. If you have ever experienced identity theft after purchasing w/ this co. You may want to look into their practices.

Purchased a (floor model) sofa there and 6 months later the seat has caved in. Urban Barn says no repairs or work will be done to fix it. Poor quality furniture. I'll never shop there again.

My sales associate, Heather, was so friendly and helpful - even helped me carry the items to my car. When I got home and tried putting my lamp together I had some issues/questions - I called the store twice and Heather helped me walk through it. Love my lamp and service was excellent!

I love the decor at urban barn but beware of their return policy for furniture. You have to return to the warehouse and they charge a substantial "restocking fee" which I was not.madr aware of. That will cost you extra

I am a self employed interior designer and have been shopping at Urban Barn for several years. This location in particular has always provided me with excellent customer service, terrific follow up and has taken initiative to compensate the client when a particular order fell short of the estimated time of delivery. I love their professional follow up with delivery arrivals and calling before delivery. The drivers are very thorough and give me allowance to inspect the items as well. Love this store! I ordered leather stools (counter height), the price was slightly higher than other stools but the quality of these surpasses all other stools I looked at. They are sturdy and beautiful. Worth every penny. They were shipped from BC and received them in 2 weeks.

Very disappointed with the service from the store and customer service. I ordered a coffee and a rug and after waiting for 3 weeks, I get the wrong colour table and a stained rug. That’s not really a problem, mistakes happen. We called customer service last Thursday and today is Tuesday and no one replies or answers the phone. When someone finally answered today, they have no idea what we were talking about because notes weren’t put down properly. We have a huge table sitting in our hallway taking up space and no one wants to pick it up or tell us what’s going to happen. I didn’t pay 1500 dollars for this table and rug to get service like this.

I was not please with the treatment of this store. The moment I walked in they ask me to hand sanitizer my hand. I told them I had an allergy to hand sanitizer. They began to push me to wear gloves. This is not bulk Barn where good are being touched. These people are over reacting. Obviously they do not value customers and I will never support this store. I immediately walked out. I thought I was in a communist country for a moment. Please do not lie. I have visited Urban Barn in St. Catherine as well as the Belgrave location at Heartland. None of these stores bother their customers about hand sanitizers. Hand sanitizer is not mandatory nor are the overgloves. To reject someone's entrance based on that is wrong and discrimatory. You should familiarize yourself with the laws to operate your business.

The staff was very helpful and there is a good selection of furniture, but do your research and wait for sales, most of the furniture had a huge markup and they won't budge on price. They will give you free delivery if you fight tooth and nail for it.

The sales associate tried their best to help but when asked if there are any Black Friday deals coming up, it seemed she wasn’t sure. Almost as if things never go on sale there but they weren’t transparent enough to tell the truth. Very wishy washy. When asked if anything goes on sale she said she doesn’t know which items will and which won’t and doesn’t know when. I haven’t shopped here before but it felt like it was their first Black Friday. So what was on sale last year? Is it random? Why do I have to leave a store with so many questions? Some clarity would have been nice. Like if they don’t do sales and hold the value of their products then just say so. Other than that their selection is good and the sales associates were welcoming.

Be sure to check them online and contact the store to order. Update June 15, 2021 - another first class experience at Urban Barn with Cheri who helped us to purchase a chair to match the bench noted above. It's great to be back to indoor shopping!

I love to visit the store in Mississauga! The staff is wonderful...helpful, friendly and fun! They even remember my name when I visit (I must spend too much time there!) The item I was looking for was not on the floor but it was no trouble for them to get it in the back room. Every time I do visit, the store has something new to see and it is always so beautifully arranged. This is my favourite place to visit.

This store has excellent customer service. It was my first time going to Urban Barn and loved it. My boyfriend and I fell in love with a cookie jar but it had a scratch on it. We asked if they had any in the back, but they didn't. We were told they will be getting more on January 9, 2018 and can put one on hold if we pay for it. We paid and were told we will get a phone call when the cookie jar was in. However, I realized on January 11 that I haven’t received a phone call and decided to go to the store to check. They had the cookie jar and did not apologize for not calling. Overall, the store is clean and great customer service. But they should be on top of pre-orders, especially because I paid for it already.

She even ran around the store moving all the furniture I wanted so I could see what it looks like together. My only complaint is that I don't want to wait for my furniture to be shipped!

Purchased a bedroom set in July from this location. When it finally arrived one of the custom parts were made for the wrong size. In the three weeks from this happening nothing had been finalized on getting issued resolved. Customer Care Manger only responds with e-mail instead of calling. Email was sent to us late on October 6th stating our options. For the cost of the products at this store, the company does not treat the clients as if they value the business. Very disappointing.
