Asked them for an estimate 3 weeks ago. Came out next day. They showed up early with virtually no notice. Followed up 3 times. Still no estimate after them confirming multiple times I'd get it soon. I would not suggest this company.

The actual painting was done well and professionally, Lucas and Randy were great. The problem is that the paint colors were completely wrong. I never discussed the colors with Chris, and he states that the email I sent with the colors was not received by him. I have no idea where the random colors came from. He was extremely rude to me as well, and repeatedly stated that he was "doing me a favor" by agreeing to re do some of the painting. My advice is to have him confirm in writing the colors you want prior to the work being done.

I called to schedule for an estimate today. The soonest they could get someone to give me an estimate is 7 day away on a Friday at 11am. Like most people work. The last 2 complaies were able to schedule an estimate with in 2-3 days. It's too bad becasue I have heard good things about this company.

I had some really hideous wallpaper on one wall in my living room. But now it's gone thanks to the beautiful work of Five Star Painting of Mentor! I can't thank them enough! After I tried one afternoon to tackle it myself and then sat and cried realizing that whatever was under my paper had me in way over my head... we called Chris and his team at Five Star. They removed the remaining paper and skim coated the whole wall to fix the nightmare of imperfections that were underneath. They sanded and painted and the wall is now perfect. What a relief to have the ugly paper gone and the even uglier wall fixed. Completely worth it to have it done in the matter of a few days and not stress myself out trying to fit another project into my schedule. I would recommend them to anyone!

Chris Hall was extremely professional and savvy. He provided a fast and concise estimate and followed through with quality work on our 135 year old farmhouse. Highly recommended.

I had 5 star paining paint my house last November. I was concerned when the only prep work they did was a quick pressure wash but they assured me it would be fine. A year later I have a large spot missing paint and other areas that are peeling off, on my hand rail. I’ve reached out to the owner 3 times in the last month as this should be covered since it’s not been a year since their service and I’ve gotten 0 response.

Chris was very good to sell but crew (that is another small company) was doing terrible job, I was thinking going to work at the time they were working and when I saw them working and interacting, decided to stay and literally being behand them, they were not covering floors and furniture as we agree on it, still having paint on some furniture and floor. We have terrible imperfections showing on the wall. Worst paint I have seen. Makes me sick thinking of the thousands of dollars we spent for poor workmanship. It's a few years later and I still haven't gotten over it. Worst investment of my life.

It's 7:02 pm on a Saturday night and Chris and one of his guys just left They wrapped up our job this past week and I spoke with him on Friday night about a few items that needed addressed. Not only did he come out on a Saturday to address everything, one of his guys left a family function to come and help out for a bit. House was cleaned up and everything looks great. Very happy with the experience and very pleased with how everything turned out. Excellent painting contractor. Fair pricing, great service, honest and dependable people a real pleasure working with. Great follow up once the project is complete. I look for jobs that they can do even if they don't need to be done. After all, who doesn't need a re- fresh on their home to keep it looking like new.
