You will be able to see all the feddbacks of people who bought the services of Charlottetown Farmers Market (Painter) in the territory of Cavendish (Canada).
At the moment this firm gets a rating of 4.6 stars over 5 and that rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is almost the best, and it's based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may be quite sure that the assessment is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to put tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Painter is included in the category of Farmers' market.
Nice Saturday market with yummy options. Thought there were to be more craft vendors, but if you're just going for veggies you'll be fine. Inside there was a good variety of food if you want a quick bite.
Love all the choices island farm fresh cannot beat it
If you like Homestyle things they have it there but it's very crowded.
Wonderful variety of vendors with great selection!
I find the prices high but the craft is good. I go for the falafel shawarma mostly (which could be stuffed with more goodies, a little skimpy on the filling).
Quite small but packed with lots of vendors. A bit too crowded though
Love heading here for the best produce, coffee and wonderful breakfast! All the providers are wonderful love Larkin brothers turkey and all the local artisans!!
Lovely and family friendly place. Good food and lots of options.
Great local and interesting produce and crafts. don't miss out on the best felafel on the island at shaddys.
Wonderful options grown here on the island. Vegetables, bread, meat, prepared dishes, pickled goods, and so much more!
Cool wee market that I'd like to visit over and over again. Delicious smells! Perhaps weekend's would be busier for more vendors to participate?
Wonderful place. A great mix of everything.
A great variety of wonderful, wholesome food! Every trip to PEI includes some time at this fantastic place,.
A neat experience, as a tourist in the area. It's clearly a local hub with huge amounts of people milling about checking out local produce, artisans, etc. Parking available right beside it, but it was full so keep an eye out as you get close. Entry was free and we spent about 45 minutes just checking out the various booths. Space is tight though so be aware if you're bringing a stroller or something similar.
A great market. Most of the vendors had compostable single use products which is great to see. Well done reducing landfill waste. Some even had reusable!
I would say one of the best "food" farmers markets in Atlantic Canada.
Great selection of fresh food
Great place to buy local and organic fruits, vegetables, and tofu. Delicious and diverse selection of foods such as African, Mexican Dutch and Asian food including candied yams, samosas, tacos, perogis, donuts, sausages, coconut chickpea curry, egg rolls, Dutch mini pancakes. Good place to buy coffee too.
Easy to get in and out of. Food selection and overall variety of available products was surprising, given its size. Purchased some lovely smoothies that were, and some local cider was well. I didn't much care for it, but several of my family members enjoyed it.
A must do if you are visiting Charlottetown on a Saturday.
Coffee is the best
A great place for local, fresh, organic produce and meats as well as other very good culinary options like Abby's and Shaddy's and 4S. There are also some fine PEI craftspeople like Paige at Harris Leatherworks. The downside is that it often feels overcrowded. Good for the merchants and a challenge for shoppers.
Great fruits vegetables and meats but to crowded and very hot inside when the weather is warm.
We must support local business. We bought local honey and jam.
(Translated) Simple and beautiful! (Original) 純樸拙實大美哉!
Worth checking out
Awesome folks, awesome food and produce
The market has some good venders. The spot needs a renovation. Bad layout and crowded traffic. Also the sitting area needs an expansion.
Always an interesting adventure exploring all the Charlottetown Farmers Market has to offer BUT.... always far too crowded. NEED a bigger building with wider aisles.
Cannot say enough about this place!! It is warm, friendly, active, and full of nothing but home made baked goods, natural coffees, and all the farmer's vegetable and produce you could ever hope to find!! Only open two days a week with limited parking, but so popular and beloved within the community of Sherwood/Parkdale and Charlottetown! TRY THE HOME-MADE DONUTS!!
Nice farmers market. More so for buying a bite to eat rather than actual produce
Delicious donuts
Small market with a handful of vendors. Not a ton of variety in offerings but still good.
Wonderful atmosphere, always live music, food, coffee. The coolest vendors. Just a fun place.
Amazing local food stands at the market. You can get healthy vegan, authentic Lebanese, African, Mexican, Polish, etc. Or forget the diet and grab a coffee and 13 mini-donuts (with caramel sauce). Local artisans sell their wares beside booths selling fresh sausages and seafood. You must be patient, however, because it's a popular place, and we Islanders don't like to rush.
Not much to see compared to other farmers markets and the prices are outrageous
I love this place. For good quality meat and cheese, the prices are great.
I always buy scallops when i visit my sister and brother inlaws place...
They have done an excellent job coping with the restrictions imposed by Covid-19.
(Translated) Beautiful and sell to customer at $$ price (Original) جميل وبيع للزبون بسعر $$
Wow, small but great products, I will back
So many different vendors offering so many things!
It's my favorite farmer's market in Canada!
Upbeat, friendly, great energy.
What a fabulous market. The prices were very reasonable and besides the food and produce there were several Artisans producing beautiful works of art. We fell in love with the metal flowers and a lovely yellow one will be travelling home to BC with us.
Wednesday was a bit quiet.
Very popular Saturday morning market with a big variety of things to buy and music to listen to.
I wouldn't wait 40 minutes to get in again no matter what they sold.
The heart of the city, great selection and amazing people make this a must stop on Saturdays
Highly recommend!
Excellent eats. Large variety of vendors!
Great environment.
Great local and organic food. Everyone is friendly. Very sustainable option. Variety of delicious home cooked ethnic foods. The African samosas are amazing. Very crowded - arrive early!
The ambience is very nice, and so is the variety of stands. You can find pretty much anything you'd find at a large farmer's market. There seems to be space to expand it a bit though, which would be nice. The parking lot isn't too great, it's almost like the surface of the moon
(Translated) Very good place to buy fresh food. Open Wednesdays and Saturdays only (Original) Muy buen lugar para comprar comida fresca. Abren miércoles y sábados unicamente
(Translated) Typical Canadian Farmers Market They also sell cute products and lots of food. (Original) 일반적인 캐나다 파마스 마켓 아기자기한 제품도 팔고 많은 먹거리들도 판다
Come early and avoid the lines.
All wonderful Island Magic. Medallion Smoked Salmon, fresh grown fruits and vegetables, Island Art and clothing, cooked food has everything and open on Wednesdays & Saturdays!
Great fresh produce
Love this little gem. Located near the university. I always get a delicious breakfast here as well as a tasty chai latte. There are many crafts and farmer's wares.
Favorite Saturday haunt for my family and I! Open throughout the year, you will find season-appropriate items from local producers around the island. While the venue is small in size, don't let that fool you for the selection is large! From fresh vegetables, baking, ethic foods, and meat products, you'll find everything you could want! Local artisans add a creative flair with their locally produced wares. Not only is this a fun outing for everyone, this is also a great way to support our local economy!
So much variety! Only place on the island you'll find a lot of this stuff.
Great place to get local produce, meats, cratfs, coffee and advise. Parking can be a little tricky but we'll worth it.
Good job on adjusting for COVID!
Love it. Friendly small town atmosphere
Excellent place to get local goods like food, produce and meats.
Meet local people here as,well as tge local farm products
Summer time in PEI (mores) Charlottetown. The Farmers market. Only wish is the location could be bigger. The community does come together and the items in the market are amazing !!..
Great place to get island produced items. From produce to meats to hand crafted goods, the local businesses shine in what they sell. Would recommend both for a visitor to the island and long time locals.
Keeping it Fresh and Fast for the islanders
Not really a farmers market.. more a pawn shop slash Asian street market
(Translated) Lively and interesting small market, the lemon tower is delicious ~ (Original) 熱鬧有趣的小市集,檸檬塔好好吃~
Eggs, Coffee and Bacon!
Great selection of fresh food, crafts and others goods.
Great place for local products
Best place to get fresh veggies
We visit the Charlottetown Farmers Market every Saturday. There are a wide variety of vendors selling delicious foods, handcrafted giftware, fresh produce, locally roasted coffee, many types of teas, and so much more. Besides the great items available for purchase, the market provides a wonderful sense of community as well as information about local events. It's the place to be on Saturday in Charlottetown.
Lots of choices of food to eat on the spot or take home & wonderful coffee!
Always a great place to visit when r in PEI! Awesome vendors, yummy food and all kinds of other things.
Colourful market with nice, warm hearted people..
Great place to get those special extras and support local firms and farms
Better to visit on a Wednesday than Saturday
Absolutely the best place to get freshly roasted coffee beans (or have Brett find them to your specs). Caledonia Coffee - the best!
Nice cozy place, many tasty things. Worth visiting.
With just a many hot food choices as farm products, you need to bring your appetite along with your sense of adventure, because it's not your typical meat and (farm fresh, Island grown, pesticide free, organic) potatoes being served here ( and for a reasonable price too) .
Love it! Breakfast, lunch, groceries, meet old friends, this place has everything! Only Wednesday though.
So many great varieties of organic products. Support the locals. ????
Lots of variety. Cash only but they have 2 ATM's. Super busy but patrons are friendly.
Awesome spot to get fresh local produce, meat and other speciality foods. A fun spot for lunch too. Open hours are limited so get there on the early side to avoid crowds and get best selection.
Fantastic selection of booths, home made and home grown goodies. Delicious food, fine worked crafts and a great atmosphere.
Great selection of vendors but could use more.
The Place to go Saturday mornings.
Great selection of local farm produce, meats, prepared foods, and artisans.
Great little market with lots of things to buy and do.
A truly phenomenal farmers market
I have been fortunate to share space at the Charlottetown Farmer's Market with amazing Island food producers and artisans who only want to provide quality products.
Love the samosas from Out of Africa.
Must stop when visiting Charlottetown. The seafood is GREAT.
Want to be happier in life? Go to the Farmer's Market and the library. Honestly, its an inexpensive way to boost your outlook on life.
A lot of terrific options for lunch! Our favourites were a grilled bratwurst from the front corner stall, a chicken, rice and chick peas combo from the African stall and to die for lemon and lemon-blueberry tarts from the veggie-vegan lady's stall.
Great place ,great people, great prices.great products
Super fun. Lots of local produce, baked and cooked food. Arts and crafts. Relaxing place to meet with friends on the weekend. Bike trail goes right next to it.
Good place if you have coupons otherwise prefer walmart or nofrills.
(Translated) Mainly prepared dishes but interesting for the ethnic variety of the cuisine. Lots of fresh produce, bakery, cheese factory, fruit and vegetables. But there is a way to find cheaper elsewhere. Still worth the visit for the atmosphere and unusual products.
Fantastic small city Farmer's Market. Great selection of food vendors, produce, and crafts. Not huge but great character and breadth for a smaller city. Great location to visit on a Saturday morning if you are Charlottetown.
Oh. My. God. The market is great for all sorts of unique gifts to suit everyone. But here's the thing, you MUST try Chef Ross's meatball sandwich. It was literally the best meatball sandwich I've ever had in my entire life. Without question. The meatballs are a trifecta of meat and the sauce almost made me cry out of sheer happiness. Make sure you prepare yourself physically and mentally before your first bite. Take extra napkins.
Local products, in a fun friendly environment
I love them oysters ♡♡♡ also the coffee brothers are cute to boot. ALSO great cheese selection!!
And right next to the university!
Fresh, local, and friendly!
(Translated) It is a small market where owners cater to their customers. You can find almost everything (always in season). In winter, it only opens on Saturday. In summer Wednesdays and Saturdays. (Original) Es un pequeño mercado donde los propietarios atienden a sus clientes. Se puede encontrar casi de todo (siempre de temporada). En invierno solo abre el sabado. En verano miercoles y sabados.
Great variety of fresh produce and meats. Also, there's a great selection of diverse authentic cultural foods.
Nice selection of local produce, ready made food and artisan all items.
Good efforts for social distancing
A great place to buy roasted coffee beans.
Reminded us of the one in guelph on. Fantastic and fun mix of art, food and purely practical items. And it's a beehive of activity - but nearly everyone is enjoying it. Big smile. Great quesadilla, baked salmon and a lobster grilled cheese.
Still nice to have the market open despite the COVID restrictions
Just picked up an order and the food we got is amazing. Reasonably priced and delicious.
Great fresh locally grown fruits, vegetables, meat and poultry. They also have great coffee and ethnic foods.
The best spot to find local island produce and food served hot and ready. A hub of the diversity here in town that offers African, Dutch, Indian, and many more types of cuisines. Out of Africa Food, Caledonia House Coffee (Organic fair trade brewed on site with steamed milk), and Island Taylored Meats are some of my favourite stands just to name a few. Open Saturdays 9-1 year round and Wednesday as well in the summer. ^_^
Lots of fun, even more great foods and people!
Veggies. Breakfast. Lunch. Meat. What else do you need?
A great place to go on a Saturday morning. Lots of great food, fresh produce, and lots of people to meet and chat with.
I always love going there. Great Variety & always friendly faces.
A definite must see for Charlottetown. The crowds can be a bit intimidating but the products and vendors are worth it.
A wonderful array of Island foods, pottery, jewelry and crafts. It has a food truck / flea market vibe. Bring cash to pay.
An outstanding market that has ready food for a meal, or weekly planning ingredients. Amazing local food that is unique and part of the amazing culture on the island. Tourists, you better be kind in here!
A great spot for fresh local produce and other island crafted treasures.
Loved it!! And I will definitely be back!!
Small, friendly, many different items. But midweek, not too many fresh foods.
Every Saturday for more than a decade. My favorite place on the Island.
Loved it
Great coffee and the mini donut machine bring us back every summer
Great local food
The ribs at out of Africa are always amazing!!
Very fun great variety!
Excellent selection of fresh produce, baked goods and meats. It's very busy so come early.
Beautiful atmosphere and a delicious variety of fruits and veggies, hot meals and desserts!

The farmers market needs a bigger venue
Depends on why you're going. Its cramped and busy. However, it's an amazing opportunity to get out there and meet the people working so tirelessly to put food on our tables. I enjoy it every single time I go.
Loved the local market, great atmosphere and friendly, very welcoming vendors. Definitely worth a weekend stroll if you are looking to support some local vendors. Yum foods options if you’re a foodie like me. Large parking lot so no need to …
An interesting little market. We drove from Cavendish during our vacation to check it out. Much smaller than I expected. We bought the mulberry liquor - delicious! I also bought some loose leaf tea. There is an ATM here, washrooms, and ample parking. The round-about to enter was a little confusing.
Some find it very crowded.
It's all about that lobster grilled cheese. Yum!
(Translated) Fantastic on Saturday From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to eat. A must see (Original) Fantastique le samedi De 9h à 13h pour manger. À voir absolument
Excelent place to eat diferent tyoes of food. A little expensive, thou it is worth a visit
Good selection
Great food and great company! Get your organic foods there ????
Nice
Awesome food, have to time your visit right if you want to get a parking spot and not have to walk like a night club dance floor. Most businesses in here are cash only. So bring some folding money unless you're cool with a 6 dollar private ATM charge.
Genuine locals, casual, places to sit. Large variety
Great experience! lots of choices for local products, will definitely come back.
Friendly proprietors. Good local products.
Great mix of treats to eat there. , Art, music, veggies, baked goods and young business people.
Fun!!
(Translated) Lack of space, the rows are narrow (Original) Manque un peu de place, les rangées sont étroites
The Farmers Market has many different food and craft venders which sell great products, it would be nice if they were open more days of the week
It was a fun experience to go to the Charlottetown Market, especially on a weekday. The artisans were fantastic, it was amazing to watch the wood carver working outdoors. The only issue we had as a group was when we were trying to buy lunch. We had 3 kids with us, and all of the food seemed to be very "out there", which is great for adults who want to try different cuisine (I enjoyed my African dish), but it was difficult to find something easy to interest the kids (who aren't even very picky eaters). It would have been great to be able to get them a sandwich or a pizza.
The views and smells alone are worth the 5 stars. Great people and great food!
A vibrant, bustling market filled with a vast array of vendors. Hardest part is deciding what to eat while you're there, as everything smells delicious! A must do experience when in Charlottetown on a Saturday morning.
Great place for fresh vegetables
Friendly local shopping. Coffee is the best! This market needs to expand or move to a larger location as it is frequently crowded.
(Translated) Place par excellence for local agricultural products and multicultural food and good coffee. (Original) Endroit par excellence pour des produits agricoles locaux et bouffe multiculturelle et bon café.
A great place for local shopping
Building is too small. Gets way too hot
Good variety
Great place to have great ethnic food
Abby's catering catered me well
handicap entrance not mapped out well with signage but an enjoyable little market
Love this place!
Buy your coffee at the market. Buying mine there for years.
Great farmers market! so many amazing vendors
Lovely.
Love going there for breakfast or lunch as well as to pick up locally produced food. Some favourites are Larkin Brothers, Oak Isle Farm, the chocolate lady, and many more.
There is a lot crammed into a small spot. Not a lot of choice and nothing that really pops out at you. More for the tourists than locals.
Lots of choices!
Great variety of fresh veggie, food as well as arts crafts
Excellent
It's was awesome
Long running farmers market, no junk vendors, just honest small businesses and hobbyists, great experience!
All kinds of great foods, super friendly and helpful people.
Poor selection. Too many tourists not enough produce
Great food..n informative vendors

A wonderful market. Best spring rolls. Favourite vendor, Willow Bend, has well crafted metal art designs. Worth the visit.
Fun stop in charlottletown. note that it's note huge, but is worth the visit for about an hour.
Nice but it need more support !
Such a variety! The bakeries! The cheeses!
The farmers market is a must for any visitors to Prince Edward Island and a staple for all the residents. We love it
They had an amazing variety of vegetables and different artisanal products, and really close to the airport. Definitely something worth checking out if you have time. They even had a truck selling fresh waffles!
(Translated) Came too early or there are not many vendors setting up a stall on Wednesday, but the fruits and vegetables are very fresh (Original) 來太早了或是禮拜三沒有太多攤商擺攤,但水果蔬菜都很新鮮
Great experience but so crowded can't really enjoy it .
Due to the virus, the market currently has a pay first, drive through- what a great idea! Don't have the whole selection but do have enough. Highly recommended!
Kinda dead on Wednesdays. Mostly lunch food and some craft shops. I hope Saturdays are better
Our bustling market is filled with locally grown/raised produce, meat and seafood, quality hand crafted goods and delicious meals ready to eat. Meet your farmers, artisans and chefs. A "must do" Saturday morning experience (and Wednesdays mid-June to Thanksgiving) for locals and visitors to Prince Edward Island.
Awesome place to buy local.
Lots of local produce and breakfast/lunch eateries.
Great place with free WiFi next to a beautiful bicycle and walking trail!v
First time visiting the inside. Very nice but a little dark in places. There are lots of nice food places and arts and crafts. I bought some beautiful coffee mugs there.
Small market but really pleasant and great local foods ! +1 for josé el mejor guitarist and cantor del mundo
Love farmer markets
Great place to go great people great price and product
So many people, but the pasteries are really good.
(Translated) There are many local and delicious shops, but the price is not so cheap. There will be some sold-out items after noon, so do it early. It was laid out great. Lots of room to social distance and the assortment of products was second to none.
Fantastic farmer’s market, great mix of food vendors, produce, local brewing and distilleries, baked goods, and local crafts and products. Best to get there right at 9am if you can as it gets quite busy later.
Lots of quality products, both food and artisans.
Love this place but it needs to be expanded! You're always stuck in a throng of people, trying to make your way around.
Good place to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables. Can grab a quick bite after a long walk on the waterfront
It is a wonderful mix of local foods, produce, meats, and honey. Also offered are local artisans wool, jewelry and goat milk soap! A lovely place.
Pretty crowded but awesome food vendors have some really nice products and some ready to eat meals restaurant
one of the crown jewels of PEI. Make sure you stop in at least once
Lots of great eats and ingredients. Do not miss this if you're a tourist!
A don't miss experience in Charlottetown. Great coffee and tea, awesome smoothies, delicious ethnic food, desserts and lots of seasonal produce and gifts...
The available vendors were excellent. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because it's smaller than anticipated. You can walk the whole market in 20 minutes.
Great people . Great smoothies
So many great foods, products, and people!
Great little market. Lots of unique things. Tried some local cider which waa delicious as well as samosas and mini donuts that were very good
Wonderful market. Very good for food and fun
Very busy market, whatever you want or need, meats, veggies, desserts, coffee beans, smoothies, artwork, pottery, flowers, teas........
Loves the variety of merchants
Food was wonderful and people are great
With the amount of artisans in the community, farmers etc., I'm surprised there is not a larger facility where more people could gather. Always busy and packed with limited selection of products
Great vendors
Wonderful. A must experience farmers market
A must visit market if you are in Charlottetown on a Saturday.
