Customer service is second to none for sure. After having several painting services in the area not call back, bail on estimates, or fail to deliver us with estimates after coming through our home - I was super grateful for them. They worked hard to earn my business, and bent over backwards to get the job done as soon as possible. The team arrived on time, and was out sooner than the projected time (they definitely deliver on the one day service). The painting job is pretty good. Looks professionally done, albeit not immaculately perfect (but no one looks as closely as me!) There were a few spots that weren’t cleaned up (some spots of dust where they patched up drywall. no real biggie. I was still grateful they patched up the drywall - included in price). For a decent job done quickly, I’d recommend.

We hired them to paint nearly every room of our home, including some challenging spaces like an 18 ft. ceiling and curved walls. Cannot recommended this company highly enough, 10/10 service! We were a little skeptical given the one day schedule and competitive pricing but… No complaints at all! Simple, friendly, helpful, and responsive booking service, colour consultation etc. Job outline: We had interior walls, California ceilings, and all baseboard trim painted On the day: The team arrived 15 minutes early to begin unpacking but did not disturb us with the doorbell/knocking prior to agreed time due to the early 8am appointment. We did let them in early as we were ready and they happily started ahead of schedule! Friendly staff, polite, thorough, tidy, kept it pretty quiet (essential with COVID home office setup!), great results and attention to detail, great cleanup with no mess leftover. The whole team wore masks and maintained physical distancing from us throughout the day The team did an amazing job and were happy to do any touchups pointed out during the final walkthrough P.S. The team went above and beyond, even removing and installing new HVAC intake registers since we couldn’t reach with our own ladders!

So it has been over 4 weeks and still no apology from the owner or sales manager. We had to main floor walls all painted after moving in. There was some confusion as to which rooms were to be painted which colour and so my house mate called the sales manager, who yelled at her so loudly that I could hear him. Honestly, there is never a reason for anyone to yell like that to a client, never. She ended the call, not wishing to be ranted at, only for him to call her again and yell again. Further along in the day the production manager came to the house and he too was dismissive and rude based on what he heard from the other manager. He did say after we describe the episode that the sales manager was ‘a hothead’ but that is still no excuse. Also, we asked why we weren’t told that the ceilings needed painting as we are now left with tell-a-tale old colour lines at the top of the walls. No answer. We were then told that if we didn’t give a 5 star rating the crew, which included his daughter, wouldn’t receive their bonus. It was on us. In all kindness, we can’t give a 5 star rating after being treated in this manner. I did wait a a few days and then called the owner who said that wasn’t like the manager and he would “look into it”. We haven’t heard anything since. No apologies, nothing. I will tell you that we will be hiring a different company for painting after the renos are done. It was certainly a WOW experience.

We called Wow 1 Day Painting to paint the interior of our new house. The estimation process went well even with the restrictions imposed by the pandemic. We accepted their estimate and then... silence. All the intensive conversation stopped, even to book the days for the painting. We had to call them to set the dates and push for a meeting to choose the colours. I wonder if the project would be successful if we didn't push them. Apart from that, the service was really good. They came with a big team, everyone busy with something, very well coordinated, and finishing on time with no surprises. We paid exactly what was estimated and the final result was great! I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the communication gap that I think they have to fix.

Overall, we were pleased with the service because it looks good. A couple of things could be improved though. I work from home and found it difficult to hold meetings when the workers were being loud and socializing. The quote needed to be more detailed as there were disagreements as to what was being done. Lastly, they forgot to paint a window and part of a downspout and left an opened container of paint with a paintbrush in it. I would suggest walking around the job site before leaving to ensure that it is completely finished and all materials are picked up. There are some places that I don't feel were given two coats as you can still see the original paint. I could do those touch ups myself but there is no more paint as the can was left without a lid and they do not have any more in stock.

I was quite impressed by the in home assessment and quote with this company. From there, everything else fell flat. Our house was painted in 1 day, with many careless mistakes including whole areas that were missed, parts not sanded that we were assured would be, paint dripped on our baseboards. I am still trying to get flecks of paint off of my brand new floors, as well as off the floor under the baseboards. Daily, my husband and I find areas that were not done correctly. WOW did respond promptly to our issues, but they were not resolved well. I will not be using this company again, or recommending them to others.

It was a great experience. From getting a quote, to booking our job, to seeing the finished product, all fantastic. We had our entire main floor painted in 1 day! While I was not home at the time my wife said the WOWteam was respectful and professional. The job was completed in the time span that was quoted. Everything went as planned, and it looks great! They even planned to get the vacuum out to clean up the little bit of debris WE had made from removing wallpaper in anticipation of them coming. While it was somewhat expensive (but obviously there should be a premium to get an entire house painted in one day). The quality and workmanship performed was worth every penny. This is our second paint job from WOW. After they completed the main floor of our house we had them back to paint our aluminum siding. We were originally going to replace our siding, but the siding itself is in great shape, except the paint was faded and chalky. The siding is original from 1972 and was harvest gold. We decided on a medium beige. A team member showed up on May 19/20 to power wash the siding and the 3 person crew came on the May 22 to paint. The major portion was sprayed with Sherwin Williams Resilience, and hand cut in around door and window trim. The crew arrived at 8:00am and left about 2:30pm. They did an excellent job and we couldn’t be more pleased. The crew handled the challenges of Covid-19 professionally, keeping their social distance while they worked And using the proper PPE. When they first arrived I walked around the house with the Team Leader to go over the scope, and then another walk around when the job was over. I wore a mask and so did he, as well as keeping our 6 feet apart. It was a perfectly executed “near contactless” job. We have received compliments from our neighbours on the “new siding”. We couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of work and material and would recommend Wow 1 Day Painting to anyone. Thanks Tyrone and team.

Tyrone, who provided the quote, met me at the appointed time - no waiting or follow-up required. Painters showed up on time and they were neat and cleaned up at the end of the day (including a quick vacuum). They were courteous and friendly. There were a few paint drops on the laminate floor, but not many and I easily removed them. And most importantly, the final bill was the same as the quote. Last summer I had Tyrone and hus tram do some exterior painting for me. I had some decorative wood trim on the peak of my home and I have to have them come back to paint a spot on the back part of it. Also they had to come back several times to try and fix the bubbling on my porch. At 1st they tried to deny washing it. But, my wife seen them do this and then they admitted it. They did not leave enough time to let it dry properly. Painted it right away. I keep getting bubbles. Finally Tyrone gave up (after many excuses not his doing) and said he will be back out next summer 2020. I jave not seen or heard from him. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND OR USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN

They promised oil paint on the ceiling but I got latex instead. Only one coat on the walls. Not what they promised at all! Luckily the job in the kitchen was good.

Wow 1 Day Painting in Kitchener-Waterloo was incredible to work with on some difficult and intricate painting jobs in our home. They offered a reasonably priced quote (below most others that we looked at) and the crew (Yves and Kayla) arrived promptly when we were expecting them. They were uniformed, clean, and incredibly professional and friendly. It was a joy to have them in our house. Their work was excellent, from patching and sanding the walls to the finished job, which took them just 7 hours.
