Great work from Tri City painters! They did the exterior of our house and it looks fabulous! We get so many compliments. They were here right when they said they would and finished on time. They were also the only company that was able to accommodate our unique requirements to paint the outside since they could not use heavy equipment to the painting.

Tri-City painters did a great job on my house. I have an old rambling 1850s farmhouse and it’s really a big job to paint it. I’ve actually had contractors pull up look at it and say no. Not that small contractors are a problem, my house is just a little bigger than what they can reasonably do. All the painters at my job are experienced and they all do a decent trimline. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. The company appears very well run. I received a detailed and professional quotes and invoices. I liked working with them and would use them again, I am very happy.

This Company painted an exterior of a building and got overspray on all the cars in the parking lot. When talking to the supervisor he was very rude and explained how they will wipe the cars off or pay for a car wash. the car wash did nothing. The supervisor explained that they dont have the money to repaint or have all the cars professionally fixed and would not do anything about it. When whipping the cars off they used paint thinner on all the vehicles. This happened two days in a row and still this company isnt smart enough to understand how to use a dry drop paint so this doesnt happen when painting outside. I would avoid this company at all costs. Many reputable, good painting companies in the tri city. This is not one.

I highly recommend Tri City Painters. My first meet up was with Norm Evelyn. I knew immediately I was in good hands. He was very organized, smart and kind. Next was Moe Ahmad, an expert on historic homes. He created a detailed road map on how to proceed with the challenges at hand. In addition he was able to answer many of our questions. Our two painters, Samim and Gurvi did an amazing job. Their work was very focused. They had good energy around our home. My family and I enjoyed their company and conversation. So thank you to all!

n August 2021 I hired Tricity Painters to remove popcorn ceilings, paint the ceilings flat white and paint 2 other small ceilings and one bathroom as well as repair 2 drywall cracks. They sent 3 people, who arrived late and did not come prepared with proper equipment. The popcorn ceiling removal was a terrible mess, they used flimsy plastic sheeting and then proceeded to put a fan in the area, that blew the drywall dust all through the house. They also walked throughout the house, spreading the mess everywhere. The ceiling is full of waves, dust holes and bumps and they did not sand the edges at all. The job was terrible. They quoted one price but charged almost double as they charge “time and material” to remove popcorn ceilings. The fact that it took them so long and they still couldn’t do the job correctly, was not my issue. Lack of training, ability, tools - could be anything. Or maybe that’s the business practice? They had a student paint the bathroom - he splattered paint all over the baseboards, the floor and the light fixtures then one wall he damaged so I had to repaint the entire wall. The female, who was to be the edger, couldn't see without her glasses and she often didn't have them with her. When I pointed out the issues in the bathroom, she couldn't see them as she had no glasses. The repair of the drywall cracks left a bump on both walls so it is very noticeable. The job was very poorly done. They offered to come back and re-do the job, taking another 4 days and making more mess. As I was getting the home ready to sell, and had already had the ducts cleaned, I refused the second attempt. Why would I put myself through that again? They insisted I still pay half the bill (which was double the original quote) and they threatened legal action if I didn't. No negotiation, no “pay half the quoted invoice” - just pay this or we take legal action. To get this behind me, I paid the invoice. I would NOT recommend this company - poor service, terrible work and no customer service. NOTE: the employees were not vaccinated and had a difficult time wearing a mask in the house at all times. This was August, in the middle of the Covid 19 Pandemic. When I asked about vaccination status, they told me No, not vaccinated .

The painters were very personable and pleasant. We have a 1500 sq ft loft with 12 ft ceilings. We hired them to paint from top to bottom before we moved in and they finished on time. I would highly recommend them. Professional job from start to finish.

Janice and Krista did a superb job of painting our living room and dining room recently! Because we had chosen two very different colours to create a two-tone effect on various walls in the rooms, it required considerable care, patience and skill by the painters plus a very steady hand. Janice and Krista put in much effort and were very careful and attentive in getting the look just right. They were very professional in every aspect of the job. They arrived punctually, assessed the situation thoroughly first and asked us questions to double-check that they knew exactly what we wanted. They used their time very well-they did not rush the painting job and neither did they dawdle. They gave their entire focus to carrying out the painting job. It was obvious to us they set high standards for themselves, resulting in a top-quality calibre paint job. They were neat and tidy with their materials and even helped us move furniture! So many wrong things it’s hard to write. This company also got overspray paint all over my car. When talking to the supervisor he was very rude and did not care they got over spray all over cars. The only option we received to fix the problem was to take it through a car wash. I did that and all the paint was still there. I ended up taking my car to a professional and they charged me $300 to get the paint off the car. This is not right that I have to deal with this and the company does nothing. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Stay far far away from this place. Their are lots of good painters out there that care about their customers .
