Whenever I walked into my bedroom, my usual cheerful mood would instantti plummet into an angry mood. My bedroom was not a place I liked to be in and it was because of my disgusting paint job. For 8 years I had this monstrosity of a bedroom haunt my emotions, but then I found Simple Strokes. Aaron and Nick were arguably the nicest people I have ever worked with and they sure know their stuff! They also painted my whole room in only one day and I have no complaints whatsoever! Now it is a lively green and I couldn't be happier. So thank you Simple Strokes, thank you for restoring the life back into my beloved bedroom.

Unprofessional behaviour and conversations while in our house. A mess was left after they convinced me to let them paint while I was away at a family members funeral. When I returned home I found a huge mess in our downstairs bathroom. Young and inexperienced in how to deal with customers. Painting was mediocre..poor customer service. Arrogant.

They set a new bar and I can't imagine any other painting company ever competing with the service we received. My husband and I were in the process of moving into a new house but decided at the last minute to paint the main level. We could not find painters able or willing to do the job immediately but then noticed a car with the logo Simple Stokes driving by. We called and they came to our rescue and I'm forever grateful that no one else was able to take us on. They were the best!!! The house was built in 1966 and had a variety of baseboards which we were going to rip out, we were going to possibly replace doors........ Our house is a bungalow so basically we had the entire main floor done and that includes the baseboards that were the original, closets, walls, doors and ceilings. After painting the baseboards looked brand new and were calked so well there was a natural flow from them to the wall........ so no ripping them out and the same with the doors. We've done painting in the past ourselves but it is totally worth getting these experts to do the job properly as they've got it down to a science. We chose one step down from the best paint and then left the rest to them. They knew exactly what to use and where to use it. The paint is durable and washable. Our home looks fresh and brand new. I can't say enough about these guys. They are young and enthusiastic, up to date on methods, professional, accommodating and have amazing camaraderie with excellent leadership. They we're a delight to get to know. We highly recommend them and plan to have them come back in the Spring to do our garage and possible some work downstairs. And last but not least, they loved our cats and our cats loved them! So animal friendly, which can be important. Joanne and Hank DeHaan
