AWESOME! Earl and his team painted our 6000 sq ft home just before we moved in. He started and ended the project in a very timely manner. When he started the project he thought the colours that our interior designer picked did not suit the home. He informed me immediately and we were able to switch the colours before a disaster. Much appreciated!! A month later we had him back to do some exterior work including refinishing and painting our front teak door - it turned out fabulous! I was actually going to hire a painter other than Earl who undercut Earl's estimate because he was recommended to me by a friend. Earl got the contract because he diligently replied to our emails and even changed his flight details when visiting his family to start early and get the job done in our preferred time. The quality of Earl's painting is to a very high standard. His preparation is meticulous and professional. The bumps in the walls were sanded down so it had that show home feel, although our house is over a 100 years old, he made it look brand new. Earl made suggestions to improve the look of the house that I had not initially considered. He worked around our other contractors and service men and even continued to work while we moved in our furniture. Earl was accommodating in every way. I would go out of my way to recommend Earl to anyone who wanted a professional painter.

We wanted the interior and doors repainted in our home in preparation for selling. We obtained a couple of quotes from painters. We ended up choosing Earl due to our positive interactions with him. This is a small but very professional company. It was good to work with a smaller company where the person painting your home is the actual owner and therefore, someone who took full responsibility for the work. Earl was very helpful with colour suggestions. He was easy to communicate with via both emails, phone calls and text. Earl was a perfectionist. He finished our 2 level 2000 sq ft home in about 6 full days. He came a few weeks later to do the exterior doors (garage and entry) when the weather was warmer. He was personally sending us updates via texts and was happy to chat about any questions we had. He also went above-and-beyond to install new hardware on all of our doors and even went to a hardware store for us to get missing hinges. And the final result was amazing. We recently hired Earl's Paintworks to repaint the entire interior of a newly-purchased home and could not be more pleased with the quality of the work and exceptional service provided from start to finish. We were on a very tight timeline & Earl (the owner) and Jeremy showed up ready to work 30 minutes after we took possession of the house. They put in long hours to finish the job in only 8.5 days, despite the fact that it was a massive project (3 storey house with over 30 windows/doors to paint around and some 20ft ceilings). The care they took to cover our hardwood floors, carpeting and cabinetry was remarkable - not a drop of paint left anywhere it didn't belong. Earl was truly a pleasure to work with, responded to our questions in a timely & friendly fashion, and provided knowledgeable (and realistic) advice on different finishes and colour options. He even went above and beyond to point out some small repairs that needed to be addressed around the house which was helpful to us as new owners. I had Earl come to paint my Bi-Level. They painted the living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway and the foyer up and down. The house is 50 years old and the ceilings have never been painted and the walls not for at least 25 years. They did an incredible job, very precise, very high quality and great attention to detail. Earl was great on suggesting what colours would go and what colours would brighten up the main living area which is north facing and doesn't get a lot of direct light, LOVE the results. Earl is very personable and easy to talk to about the project and will readily lend his expertise to you in helping you come to a decision that you will be happy and satisfied with, but does not pressure you into going one way or another. Earl is the best in the business! We hired Earl to paint the exterior of our 106 year-old heritage home that was in disrepair. Our house is a craftsman bungalow that required highly detailed workmanship. Because of the uniqueness of the house, and its heritage value, we were nervous to hire the job out to just anyone. We met with a number of companies and Earl's Paintworks stood tall above the rest. We loved that Earl was an owner/operator and knew after talking to him that he'd take great care with our beloved home. We weren't wrong! Earl and Jeremy were meticulous - sanding every nook and cranny to ensure a perfect finish that would stand the test of time. We wanted a tri-colour scheme to show off the home's craftsmanship, which required a lot of taping, cutting, and intricate work. We were referred to Earls’s Paintworks through our trusted general contractor who had viewed a home exterior job. Earl Nolan came in a few days and reviewed the siding and brick work with us, his knowledge of proper preparation and quality paint products easing concerns over brick work sections and aging siding. A realistic schedule with an acceptable pricing estimate was received soon after site visit. The crew of 4 arrived as scheduled and completed the work within four days while we were away from the property, and Earl communicated with me daily on progress. When we returned home and looked the job over we were extremely pleased with the results of; good colour matching, look of painted brick sections, siding with a new fresh look again and neatly done caulking work. There were no flaws, and Earl came for back for completion inspection and a few minor touch ups. The emailed invoice was received as per quote with no extra charges, and receipt sent after payment.
