Words cannot describe the poor service we received from this company. A student painter would have done better. Rude, stressful,worst renovation experience ever for a very small exterior painting job. Save yourself heartache and find anyone else but this company.

We had a commercial painting job needed for our office space. We took the usual 3-quote approach and found that Bignold gave us the most comfort. They asked questions and pointed out things that none of the other painting companies did. Their quote was very comprehensive and covered everything and had the best warranty. Needed my front entrance and garage door painted to match the new siding on my home. We got a quote within 24 hours and as soon as the weather was appropriate, they were up at the house and had the job completely done within 4 hours. They spray painted the entrance door and it now basically looks brand new. Saved me big dollars as the whole paint job, including the garage door was half the price it would cost for a new entrance door. Been 5 months now and everything still looks great. Highly recommended...

Our 22 unit townhouse condo contracted with Bignold for Elastomeric paintIng of our stucco. They did a very good job and finished sooner than we expected. Particular attention was paid to masking doors, windows and wood trim. Pricing was competitive and we would definitely ask them for a bid when we repaint our wood trim.

I represent a 6-unit condominium complex. Our building had been painted previously with a paint not designed for use on stucco so there was significant peeling and damage from water and sun exposure. Bignold took extra care in removing all the peeling paint and used a high-quality paint appropriate for stucco siding. From start to finish, we got great service. The management crew that came and gave us the estimate were thorough and explained all of our options - the crew that did the painting took great care and paid extra attention to some of the problem areas of the building. The end result is perfect! There is no hesitation to give Bignold our highest recommendation - our thanks to everyone we worked with.

The work Bignold Painting did on my home was not done satisfactorily and communication deteriorated to the point that I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to attempt to rectify the problem through their resolution process. After months of detailed email correspondence, waiting for replies, replying back, and requesting a reasonable reimbursement, the end result was no response from Bignold Painting; therefore my complaint was closed as UNRESOLVED. The Better Business Bureau stated that Bignold Painting are now no longer accredited. Accreditation means, among other things, that a company demonstrates a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. I had full confidence and trust in the resolution process, but in the end, Bignold Painting demonstrated no interest in responding. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with Bignold Painting for not correcting the deficiencies in a professional, coordinated and timely manner on the work they did.

When we first contacted Bignold everything seemed very professional, that was until we handed over a down payment and from that point it took over two months to get them in to do the job. This was an indoor job during their out door season but I shouldn't have to nag someone to do something they signed up for should I? Once the job was started they had one person at the house rushing to get things done so by the time it was over there were paint drips and crap sanding work done. we had some wainscotting fixed and once it was lacquered the person sanded rough spots leaving sanding marks in an otherwise nicely finished wall. after complaining a couple times to the company we were promised an inspection which never came until after one month of no communication I went to the BBB where at that point we promptly heard from them. I was promised a partial refund ONLY after I signed off on the BBB reply from them which basicaly said it was not their fault and I was the one that did not return calls. TOTALLY INNACURATE. So just to get some money back I signed off on it. This above here is my real experience with them. Slow service and they ignore you. Simple as that.

The team at Bignold were great. We had used some student painters before and were not happy but this was a totally different experience. The crew worked really hard to prep the house which was a chore as it is a 1910 3 storey home with shingles and cedar siding. The paint job was thorough and they did a complete walk through after and were happy to complete any touch ups. Only slight down side was it took a bit longer than estimated but the end result was totally worth it.

I had a significant problem with this company's timeliness in getting the work completed. It took four months after receiving a significant down payment for them to begin the work. This occurred only after months of my calling and then communicating directly with the manager. I found the whole process very frustrating. The work, when completed, was OK. I have found a different painter now who is a pleasure to work with [timely, prompt, punctual with excellent results].
