We are very grateful that after talking to quite a few painters, we chose Mike right on the spot because he looked so honest, professional, and humble during a very busy season for finding contractors. He started his job earlier than he promised and he finished the job right on time. He showed up to work everyday around the same time and he worked very calmly and consistently. He is an expert with spray painting and he takes pride for his job. He has a methodological approach to his job which allows his clients to plan accordingly. I hired Michael in June 2018 to paint the exterior trim of my windows, which were in fairly poor shape due to age. Michael took no shortcuts in making sure that the cracks are adequately caulked and sealed before applying two coats of paint. The paint job itself was quick, clean and meticulous, and the window trims look much better now. Michael offered to paint the trims of my garage door and windows, as well as the garage door free of charge, which speaks to his initiative and desire to go above and beyond in pleasing his customers - this was very much appreciated. Michael takes great pride in a job well done, and his experience speaks for itself. I would hire his business again, and strongly recommend him for any painting job.

When I had an unplanned need to have my condo repainted in short notice, Mike answered my call at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon, and had come by to give an in-person estimate by 5:30. Mike was very professional and a good communicator throughout my job. He committed to complete the job in three days, starting the following Wednesday, which worked well with my needs. He subsequently let me know that he had to shuffle his Monday job, so could start early. So start early he did, and he finished slightly faster than quoted. Work is well done, Mike supplied Sherwin-Williams paint and left the leftovers for touch-ups, and Mike seemed very honest and trustworthy throughout. No extra charges or even a hint thereof. I'm very happy with my experience and will recommend Mike to a friend.

From there he scheduled the job in for the following Tuesday, and completed in the time frame promised. Great paint job, and excellent communication. All around professional. Amazing work!! Mike painted my parent's home and his work is beautiful. My parent's have a large home with high vaulted ceilings and walls over the staircase, these walls must be difficult to paint. Mike did such a great job, we have just had him back to paint the remaining balance of the main floor (master bedroom, master bathroom and den). And, again, Mike did a couple of touch-ups in the house for free, as he feels compelled to make everything look great (inside door leading to attached garage needed to be repainted) . We hired Mike to paint the exterior trim, deck and fence at our home after a bad DIY job on our back deck. He stained our fence, re-painted the back deck, and all the trim with really high quality paint. He really took the time to make sure we were happy with the result. I had asked him to stain our front steps- but because the previous owner of the home hadn't painted it in 10 years, the wood was dry all all cracked up. The stain didn't look too good.He filled in all the cracks, sanded it down and repainted it so that it looked nice and new. We had also asked him to paint the front door a certain color, which I ended up not liking and Mike graciously went out and bought more paint in another color. We are so happy with the result! This 10 year old home which was never taken care of looks new again!

Michael is an excellent painter. He works on the established schedule. He shows great initiative; when rotten planks were found, he replaced them and showed me the reasons for replacement. Mike of Calgary Quality Painting painted the ceilings, walls, doors and trim/baseboards in 650 square feet of our basement in July, 2016. We are very pleased with the results. Our new doors and baseboards have a nice smooth finish. The transitions between wall and ceiling and baseboards are nice and sharp. Mike is a very professional painter and he is very accommodating and attentive to any issues or touch-ups that might need doing. He is very reliable, hard-working and gets the job done right in a timely and friendly manner. Our basement looks great and we are about to have Mike paint the one remaining room in our basement.

Calgary Quality Painting recently painted the exterior of our home, and one bedroom. The work was completed on time and with no unauthorized work. The contract was fairly priced, and was the lowest of three quotes. The paint was supplied by Sherwin Williams, and Calgary Quality Painting was able to get an acceptable price on their premium paint, and this enabled Quality Painting to provide the successful quote. We have painted our home numerous times in the 30 or so years we have lived in it, and we can say that this has been the best job ever. We also note that while in this area Quality Painting also painted a neighbour's fence. He said that Quality Painting has his endorsement because of their fast and meticulous methods. I have included his comments to show we are not the only happy and future customers. Thanks for a job well done Mike.

BUYER BEWARE Mike came into my home waving his recommendations book and professing to do professional work and boasting of his 30 years experience. He was hired to paint a hallway, living room and vaulted ceiling. And paint he did; He cut in the border twice but only gave the walls one coat; there is no possible way if he had done two coats he would miss the same spots twice. There is navy blue paint on my hardwood stairs the risers and the railings. White paint on navy walls when he painted the baseboards, he never even got the paint right up to the door jams in the hallway. He was ignorant and condescending to me. In order to post I had to give him 1 star which he most certainly doesn't deserve. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself. All the fluffy reviews in the world cannot erase the picture evidence Mike.
