I had high expectation for the quality of finish, and it was delivered. I was pretty demanding about even small details, and the response was always accommodating with a desire to deliver the best possible product. If you're looking for professional, quality painting service, from start to finish, this is it. Travis and team started with significant prep work for our railing/stairs painting project. Furniture, lighting, walls, etc. were all protected with poly and taping. The work site was kept organized and clean throughout, especially in the evenings and at the end. They provided timelines and status of progress at every step. I am extremely happy with the final results and would highly recommend Travis and his team.

We would highly recommend Travis and A Burst of Colour! We had Travis and his crew come out to paint the main floor interior of our bungalow before we moved in a year ago. They also painted the dark wood around our fireplace and mantle a nice light colour. Beautiful durable results! We were so impressed with the quality of the work that we had them come back this summer to paint all our kitchen cabinets, and the stair railing to the basement. They showed exceptional attention to detail during the prep phase, with great respect for our home and belongings. Since we are NOT interior decorators we really appreciated having them send one out to help us pick exactly the right colours for our projects both times. Dee is a delight to work with, and she really knows her business! During the work we were out of town for a few days and returned home to find out that Travis had called in a plumber for an emergency fix when our fridge water line broke. I am so grateful he handled this for us and prevented extensive damage to our wooden floors! All in all, I would say that this company is trustworthy, very easy to deal with, and the high quality results are extremely professional. Our kitchen looks brand new!! This company is officially now our “go to” painters!

They use high quality zero VOC paint and use many application techniques depending on what the project calls for. Their knowledge of applications, paint, quality of workmanship, finishing expertise and attentiveness to our requests were exceptional. They were always eager to attain our satisfaction and were what I consider to be quite expert in all their work. Incorporating an hour's worth of professional designer time as part of their model prior to job start proved to be of great help.They met all their commitments, were timely in their work scheduling and very careful to ensure our home and furnishings were appropriately handled. Absolutely amazing job guys! Completely transformed our house. Once we accepted the quote, Travis sent in a designer (free hour with her for every 5k spent) she helped us pick the paint colours and gave us tips on how to stage our house once the work was done! These guys are true professionals, they worked around us and our schedule as we lived in the house while the work was being done. Travis always kept me up to date with the progress of work. The job was done on time and the attention to detail was amazing. Exceeded our expectations!

Highly Recommend. Travis and team are top notch. I cant say enough about the overall experience. As with the start of any major reno, we were nervous. We were transforming a house from the 1990s (tons of oak) to a fresh modern look of white and expresso. This isnt the job for a regular painting team. A Burst of Colour is experienced in staining and painting, and they transformed our house. The finishing were exceptional 1) extremely professional - You will not find a team like this elsewhere in Calgary 2) courteous - He had 4-5 team members in the house at all times. All were friendly and ensure our place looked clean at all times. 3) very fair priced - we had a number of painters give us quote. Not only were they fair priced, but Travis was the only contractor that came by and showed us the confidence in completing the job. 4) invoiced professionally with every single job set as a line item - I was impressed with the level of detail in the invoice. 5) very timely- gave us a concrete time line and stuck to it. If required they pulled long hours to get the job done 6) detail oriented - They would pick out the flaws before we even pointed them out. 7) all about customer satisfaction - ensure that we were satisfied rather than waiting to get paid I highly recommend them.
