VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. UNRELIABLE. ALEX MADE NUMEROUS EXCUSES. I have an investment property in Burnaby and called Alex earlier in the week to schedule an appointment for today, Thursday, July 23rd at 11:00am. This was confirmed throughout the week. I took the morning off of work to meet Alex and got to my place at 10:15am. I waited and waited over an hour until 11:35am. I finally called Alex and he made numerous excuses why he could not make it. I said I took time off of work and this was very unprofessional and disrespectful. Alex made no attempt whatsoever to re schedule a time.What type of business does this person run! I did a Google search and this doesn't seem to be the first time he has STOOD UP A CUSTOMER. To be honest, after speaking with Alex he comes off as self-important. I don't like to judge people but this time around I am. I am definitely going to search for a more established painting company in my area that is reliable,and professional. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ALEX OF NEW CASA PAINTERS BURNABY, BC!!!!!! AS A RESPONSE TO THE COMPANIES REPLY: Alex propagating the idea that this a missed estimate and that he contacted me right after is not true at all. I had to chase Alex down over the telephone like a child, several calls to be exact. I have never had to chase down a contractor before to give them work. Alex did not contact me WHATSOEVER! Does Alex not realize that we have lives and work. I have 2 children to manage along with work,and an ailing father and this has hampered my day greatly. I ended up having to call into work and take an actual full day off because of him. I was able to get a hold of a painting company that came in mid afternoon and will be starting Saturday morning. I mentioned what has inspired between Alex and myself and the painters commented they would never do this to a client and that this sounds very disorganized on the part of Alex. Consumer reviews is a platform for opinions, voluntary,and for everyone. You can leave info or your experience. Alex commenting reviews are for business clients only is incorrect. Essentially,I hope my review will help the next customer make the right decision if choosing this company. D

We recently moved to Burnaby from North Vancouver into a larger house with my wife and kids. We were going to paint our house on our own but realized the amount of work that goes into painting. With the help of New Castle Painting BC's house painters, the stress of getting our new home together was taken away! I requested a quote and after a few days with no reply I sent a follow up email. I never got a reply. Perhaps they are not interested in the job but at least have the courtesy to let the customer know instead of keeping them waiting. For a company that doesn’t return emails means it doesn’t really care about their customers. Don’t use them!
