I recommend these painter's Vancouver! I just had my 1300 sqft Condo in Vancouver repainted. Jason and Robb were very professional and I could tell they were knowledgable from the get go... Amazing finishing and attention to detail. There was a ton of preparation work to be done on the dry wall and I really wasn't expecting perfect but it looks completely flawless. The walls look brand new. I almost don't want to sell. They also gave me some great idea's on how I could save money on the paint job by keeping some of the same rooms the same color. 9/13/2019 I got about ten quotes from different painting companies for painting my rear decks (I have a larger sundeck attached to the back of my house and a smaller deck by my garage), two sets of stairs, a wooden ramp running from my sundeck to the garage (I had an elderly mother who could only use a walker and could not handle stairs), three wooden benches and the floor and sides of a Chinese gazebo. Jason, the owner of the Vancouver Painting Company, gave me, by far, the lowest bid. I was hesitant to hire them because their quote was so low but I relied on the 48 Google reviews which gave them 4.7 stars. I need not have worried because Jason came with one of his crew members (sorry, I forgot his name, but he did a wonderful job!) and sanded everything down and painted it all (they used a top quality product - I checked it out at the paint store) in one day. My husband came home that evening and was flabbergasted at what an impressive job they had done in such a short time. I would not hesitate to recommend this company, not only for their reasonable prices, but for the outstanding professional quality of their work.

The Vancouver Painting Company did my interior paint job on my Vancouver victorian duplex. It was in a huge need of this update and I thought the cost would be so much more when considering all the prep work that they had to do to get the walls ready for painting. From the first moment everything was handled very professionally and the job went very well. My experience with this company started fine, in fact I chose them because they answered quickly and seemed professional. I contacted them in October for a quote on a job - January 2. I confirmed the job and color choice in December. All was fine until I GOT A TEXT MESSAGE THE NIGHT BEFORE THE JOB- I was told by Jason that he hadn't factored in the timing of the painting and asked if the job could be moved to January 3rd (not possible as that was the day the movers were moving everything in), or he said I would NEED TO PAY MORE for the job as he hadn't factored in paying more for his guys. This was the night before at 5:30pm - leaving no time to book another company. His concern was that he would be "out of pocket". we had to proceed with the job as planned and I agreed to a possible extra fee and he again asked what the color was I had chosen. On the day of the painting they ARRIVED AN HOUR LATE (they were picking up the paint and said the store wasn't open down the street). I had specifically asked for everything in one uniform color, walls, trim and baseboards as well as doors. When I arrived to the completed job, they DID NOT PAINT ONE UNIFORM COLOR AS ASKED - painted the walls in the one color chosen but did not paint the trim, baseboards and doors as asked in the same color. When this was pointed out he started toGET ARGUMENTATIVE, AGGRESSIVE AND LOUD I stood there a single female on my own and can tell you i felt unsafe as he argued that i did not say it clearly enough and yet again if he understood that he would have quoted more.I was bullied, intimidated and now was facing a bill 300.00 over the original quote. I took out my Visa only to be INFORMED THEY NO LONGER ACCEPT VISA (despite confirming that prior) and it had to be cash or cheque. With a phone call later after being safe at my other home and finding the proof in writing of what i asked for clearly of one uniform color - he offered to send a guy back and have me pay the person in cash for the hours needed for the job and for the paint. I simply had no more money for him to get from me at this point. It took a stop payment on the check and refusal to pay until what I asked for was done for it to be corrected. This was then fixed after my belongings were moved in and I made sure a man was with me the entire time so that I didnt have to feel unsafe again. I FIRMLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY - This was a horrifying experience

In the spring we got a few quotes to stain our cedar fence surrounding our house in Vancouver. We decided to go with this company….BIG mistake. I had to call to confirm receipt of emails and texts because Jason did not call back or respond to emails. He finally promised it would be end of July (lots of sunshine) he said he would call 3rd week of July to confirm dates. He never did. I had to call each week to see when we were scheduled. Week after week the dates arranged never happened. Only by talking directly with the owner did I get a call and a half apology. Long story short - the date promised was not honoured. Many excuses were given, "too busy, last on the list, the fence is dirty etc" A summer wasted, they clearly did not want the job. The owner said, "I guess we dropped the ball"

They painted my new condo yesterday and I was a bit nervous, as everything else had seemed to go wrong with my move. Plus the bedroom has a built-in cupboard that seemed like a huge challenge to paint around. And then they were finished sooner than expected so I thought this can't be good. But when I walked in I literally -- dorkily -- exclaimed to myself "I love it!" It was exactly what I wanted, and beautiful finishing along the ceilings and baseboards and even that giant built-in cupboard. I found it a bit difficult to schedule the appointment, which I'd wanted to do much further in advance,but overall an excellent job and I'd use them again for sure. The cost was fair and the estimate process was very fast and transparent, too.

I recently purchased a condo and I wanted it painted. I got 5 to 6 quotes from different painting companies and they all had competitive pricing. But I didn't know which ones I can trust who would do a great job. After doing some research, the only company who worked with Fortune 500 companies, was The Vancouver Painting Company. They had contracts with APPLE and STARBUCKS in the past and also, residential ones too. Therefore, I decided to go with them because I believe if these Fortune 500 companies can trust them around their products and services then I would too around my home. The result was phenomenal! My condo was painted in 1 day, quality was great and the pricing was so competitive. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. If you're trying to save a few dollars by going somewhere else, don't. I went with someone else in the past and they ended up accidentally kicking the can of paint over onto my new carpet which costed me money and time to fix. In hindsight, I would have spent the extra dollars on The Vancouver Painting Company because I knew they will do a great job.

Worked with Jason to get a refresh coat of paint in our condo. The experience was Ok! Jason is not very responsive to e-mails and tells you that one coat of the same paint (that was on the walls already) was enough, but when we see that there are areas that haven’t been painted very well he accused us of looking too closely at the walls! The guy that came back to fix the walls Chris acknowledged that they missed parts of the wall and did a good job fixing it. Jason says he offered us a 2 coat paint job, to be fair he did mention this but also said that one coat would be enough as it was exactly the same colour. So we went with the “experts” opinion. He also said he would start and finish the job, which he didn’t he left his guys to do it. We trusted that Jason knew what he was doing, as this is his profession...what we got was a fast talker who wanted to get paid as soon as he was done (he mentioned this when I was asking him to come fix his missed areas on the walls, btw...we paid him after the walls were fixed) and a company that will do a patchy job. Our neighbours had a similar experience, not just with the painting but with Jason. Take your money to a company that will stand behind their work and not accuse customers of looking too closely at the walls!!!

Very happy with their paint job, service level and courtesy to extend their working schedule to accommodate my last minute requests! Jason and his team (Carlson & Brett) are very knowledgeable and skillful for the work they do. My condo (all walls & kitchen / entry ceiling) was painted in 1 day! Even when I found out some spots need to be touched up after the service , Jason managed to stop by and finished the small touch up area within a couple days. It's really hard to find good contractors / servicing company these days, so I am very impressed with their professional work and customer service. Best of all, their price is cheaper than the other painting companies!! (at least that's what applied to me for my condo paint job). Everything was done on time and based on the original quote price. No hidden fees or anything. Highly recommended and I really like the work that VPC did to my place!
