Jeff was excellent at explaining the options and providing a good outline of what we should expect. He even coordinated with a carpenter to work on certain issues that he found upon initial inspection. I felt that my house was in good hands while dealing with Tall Guy. We had actually scheduled other companies to quote the painting job, but we were pretty much certain of our decision the afternoon we discussed with Jeff. The project manager, Mike, helped us choose the colors. Last but definitely not least, thank you so very much to Saber and Amir, who did the heavy-lifting including power-washing, prep work, sealing, the actual painting, and the cleanup! Jeff was very good in explaining the options, coordinated a carpenter to address some issues identified during his initial inspection, and he provided a good outline of what to expect. Mike the project manager worked with us to select the colors. although we had an idea of what we wanted Mike showed up and painted some samples on the house which made the decision process very easy. We cannot speak highly enough of them; it was a pleasure. We had a great experience from the start to the end with Tall Guy Painting. Jeff was our first point of contact, he came out, took his time to look at the exterior of our house and to give us recommendations and in drafting a quote which was given to us within 48 hours of the visit. We had a couple of questions which Jeff promptly responded to and we decided to go with Tall Guy Painting after looking at the other options. He is not the cheapest but also not the most expensive quote we got, but the confidence and friendliness of Jeff made us decide to go with Tall Guy Painting. Then we had the pleasure of meeeting Mike, our Project Manager for the paint job. He was a super nice guy who assisted my wife and I in selecting the color for the house. He came over twice to sample paint our walls with a dozen shades of grey and he was perfectly supportive in our long decision in selecting the final color for the house. When we selected the color, Mike ordered it and showed up with his lovely team of painters to start the job. The crew of 5 painters were very professional and hard working, starting at 10am and staying until 8pm preparing and painting the house. They took the time to take down all exterior fixtures like the lighting, the mailbox, the exterior ceiling mount speakers, etc to get the paint everywhere before cleaning the fixtures, and in some cases, like the speakers, painting them before reinstalling it in the ceiling. When they finished with the job, Jeff once again showed up, did a walk through to inspect the work and mark touch up areas for Mike and the painters to clean/touch up. Mike and his team came back within a week and did the final touch up and clean up with always a smile on their faces. It was a great experience and looking forward to using their services again to paint out wooden fences spring/summer of 2021!

Being a non-profit organization, we are required to obtain three separate quotes for major projects. Within a week, I had all three quotes and reviewed them with our organization. When Jeff Girard came out to give the estimate for out building, he met me at the time he said he would be here and was waiting for me with a notebook and measuring tape. He was very thorough in his explanation of his estimate and took the time to offer me various upgrades to paint without any pressure. His written estimate was extremely professional and detailed. The most important part for us was that he included IN THE ESTIMATE that if there was any rot or damage to the fascia board, this would be included as part of the estimate. Also of extreme importance was the fact that they took the time to re-caulk all window and door frames - - again part of the estimate. Tall Guy painting was in the mid-range of the estimates we obtained – but easily exceeded and delivered on the promises made in the estimate. For these reasons, I highly recommend him and his team for any painting job. On the walk-through, I said, “Hey Jeff, your guys missed a spot.” The crew immediately came out and fixed it that same day. I should point out that our building is massive and sits at approximately 10,000 square feet. Working in Ladner and living in Tsawwassen, I know that reliable and friendly trades people are hard to come by – these guys are worth checking out.

The wonderful team of Jose and his wife thoroughly and diligently cleaned and primed our siding before painting 2 coats. They were careful and clean, and never forgot to tidy up every evening. Jeff's crew came in and prepped with more attention to detail than I imagined possible. Our house is stucco and cedar siding. They caulked every crack which I did not expect.
