I picked All Painting based on the great reviews on Google and them being listed as one of the top 3 painters in Coquitlam. Initially my impression was good, Ian the estimator was prompt in arriving and getting me the quote, and work commenced soon after which I'm grateful for as I really wanted this work to be done this year and many other places were booked until the end of Summer. One thing to note is their quote for exterior painting only includes painting the bottom and front of the fascia boards, where as all the other quotes I've received would paint the back as well, so their price might be lower but that's part of the reason. However when they started painting they ended up painting the backs of some of the fascia boards and not others, and it just looks terrible. So when you receive their quote better ask how much more it would be to paint all sides of the fascia boards. Communication between the site staff and head office also seems poor. The two people that were working on my house initially quit half way through, however I was not informed about this, and only found out when I realized they haven't shown up for a few days and called the head office to find out what's going on. I understand a lot of places are short staffed due to Covid but I'd appreciate if the company was more proactive in letting me know. I also have questions about the actual quality of the paint work. I had to point out numerous deficiencies in their work before they left, some so bad I wonder if they thought they were painting for Helen Keller. I have no idea how anyone can look at the work below and think they've done a good enough job. Luckily they were able to fix these issues when pointed out, but it makes me question how good of a job they did on all those places that I couldn't see. The company does offer a 2 year warranty so we'll have to see how much that's worth.

Ron's drywall contractors were experts in drywall installation. They expertly installed drywall over two difficult-to-cover walls on an enclosed porch and also patched empty fixture openings in three other rooms, leaving no visible trace that they existed. Before we gave them the go-ahead they stayed in contact with us to let us know how busy they were so that we knew what to expect on when they would start if we gave them the job. We had an issue with our wall that made it look wavy because the previous owners used high gloss paint. They fixed the walls and made it look straight again. Stay far away from this company. He overcharges between 200% and 300%. It's easy to stay within quote when you overcharge by that much. I am a developer, and the only reason these guys were contacted is because my regular painter is busy on one of my projects. A job that is valued at $1200, Ron quoted at $3300. When he was confronted with the overcharge, he spoke with absolute disrespect to my son. His arrogance is beyond the pale. Trying to justify a ridiculous price with 10 paragraphs instead of simply saying "maybe next time"? Stay away...stay far away, and spend your money more wisely with a painter that actually cares about his customers, rather than just seeing dollar signs.

Our kitchen cabinets were originally in good shape, but the stain and coloring were fading from oxidation and sunlight exposure despite only being 5 years old. Rather than buying a new one, we decided to hire a company that does cabinet refinishing. We're very happy how it turned out because by the time All Painting Ltd. was done refinishing kitchen cabinets we didn't just realize that we saved these cabinets from being thrown out, but at the same time we saved a lot of money than purchasing new ones. They now are painted and look like they came out of the factory this way. If ever need help in the future on refinishing kitchen cabinets I will surely contact Ron (the owner) because the cabinet refinishing service they do is top-notch and increased the value of our home dramatically.

Ron and his team treated my home as if it was their own. Gustavo was very respectful of my furniture. Ian helped me pick a fantastic color scheme. Ian invested considerable time and effort into our job, returning to our property several times (making a special epoxy sample to blend with our brickwork) to ensure the final selection choice was correct. Exterior house paint. As much as I’d love to give 5 stars, in all honesty, 4 is correct. The communication between the estimator, site supervisor (who was never actually onsite) and the crew that painted was quite poor and the result was staff that initially showing up unannounced and then a second time with equipment that was not functioning. In the end the house did get washed and the paint job seems fine, although I have some doubts that two coats were applied everywhere. Only time will tell as to the quality and if need be, we’ll see if my 3 year warranty is worth the paper it was written on. I chose this company as the price was right and because they were listed on a ‘three best’ painting companies in Coquitlam website. While that may be a stretch, the crew who painted were all nice guys, the price was competitive and the job is backed by a three year warranty. I am just hoping that I have no reason to exercise that warranty.

Amazing work is done!! I had a very horrible popcorn ceiling repair done by someone else. After Ian and his crew from All Painting was done fixing the texture and paint that someone else screwed up, it looks as if nothing happened. Very impressed with the timing. I needed the ceiling repair job started the same day I called and he was able to fit me in at the end of his other jobs. The whole popcorn ceiling is repaired perfectly in 2 days. They blended the patch with the rest of the ceiling very well. I wish I had an after photo because it looks amazing!

We just had interior painting done on our home. After a walkthrough, they came up with a game plan of dividing the job into three phases. Phase one was the two bedrooms and a bathroom on the east side. Phase two was the office and master bedroom and bathroom. Phase three was the living room, dining room, kitchen, and laundry room. With this game plan, we were able to stay in our house the whole time which we really appreciated. They did an excellent job and were very considerate throughout the whole process. Ron the owner said the game plan would take six days and he was right on it. I was very impressed with him and his crew. I would recommend them for any interior painting! Not only was my request for estimate responded to promptly, but Ian also drove down for a complimentary site visit. The company that replaced my roof tried doubling the original estimate for painting the water damaged ceiling after the exterior roof was complete. Our landlord gave us a small amount before move-in to paint over the dark brown walls in the dining/living room areas. Ian came to give me a quote for labor and materials and coordinated the interior painting project by phone/text throughout the week. I gave him the paint color we wanted and he placed the order. Because he knew I was working with a small budget, he was able to use resources from a previous job to bring costs down for the ceiling paint and help us get the results we wanted. By that Sunday morning, Ian and his team of 4 interior painters, were in the house getting the job done. Great job repairing popcorn ceiling and painting - on time, finished early and did a good cleanup. Update: Two months after the work was done I called back to say my ceiling had developed a large crack where they had hung and patched a water damaged area. I was told that drywall work is never guaranteed. I said I would still like them to come out and look at it and if I had to pay to get it fixed well fine. Ian and his crew came back and fix that for me without extra charge. At the time I did the original job I told them I was planning on doing the rest of the house, another 4 bedrooms and a family room and hallways. With their best work, I have no doubt I will hire All Painting Ltd. to do the rest of my painting projects!
