Blew me away. You want to use this paint Hybrid paint was recommended. Looks like oil, but washes up with soap and water. 15 yr guarantee. Amazing stuff. They did a colour match, I'm a printer so I know colour, they were spot on. And the paint was 40% off to boot. Definitely will be back. Lady staff member was very helpful. Forget those box stores, can you even find help there. Support local ownership.

When i took it in he explained matching colours is art and science but he would do his best. He apologised that because of supply issue I would have to buy a gallon. But said because of this I could return it if not satisfactory. Well it appears to be a perfect match! Very pleased with the result I'll use the gallon in a bedroom. Ceiling paint, an adhesive primer, high quality interior paint and a nice paint for trim. I almost bought one item elsewhere- the salesperson handed me a product and said it should do the trick. Reading the back of the can I realised it was absolutely not applicable for my project. I called these guys right away and they had the right thing and were sure of it. Very happy to go back here- very confident in their suggestions and product knowledge. ???? Oh- and they also had free coffee! Nice touch!

Grossly overpriced garbage: I've been painting for 25+ years, and the Sherwin Williams paint my customer just bought (Quali-Kote; she was told it was their "premium interior paint") at $50+/gallon on sale (regular $65) gave the worst coverage I've ever experienced with a supposed "premium" paint. It's $5 more per gallon than Dulux LifeMaster, with only approx. 30% of the hiding... Sherwin Williams, shame on you for selling such junk.

I've had issues with, who appears to be a new staff member, in the past. Today she was unable to listen to my specific request for certain paint listed and tagged on my account for certain rooms. I have spent significant amounts of money on paint at this store over the last 6 months. I mentioned the 2 small paint pot colors I was wanting to pick up for touch ups several times. One being a beige and one a yellow (bathroom). Again (this happened the last time I was at the store) this employee asked repeatedly if I wanted a blue color paint I had custom matched, and I told her it was a yellow. She proceeded to take a lot of time. She told me the beige color was not available in anything smaller than the quart. I decided to leave that. She said the other color had a 50/50 chance it would match my walls but I had no other choice. She mixed the blue, then proceeded to argue with me that I had always requested blue.....I reminded her I said yellow at least 5 times while talking with her. She rolled her eyes, walked away, and got a different staff member (who has always been very personable, kind, knowledgable and helpful) to ring in my paint and 1 Brush. $50.00 later I get this poorly mixed excuse for a pint of paint and a terrible attitude. I hope she doesn't continue to work there. Long dark hair and terrible customer service skills. Glad to be done purchasing from them for this house. Hopefully they get a clue and hire staff without such a poor attitude.

I asked for eggshell and the upgrade did not even come in eggshell and they do not tell you its not in the sheen you want. The Lifemaster paint is a dream to work with. It is a bit thinner consistency than a lot of other paints I've used, but goes on really smoothly, covered beautifully, it's easily buildable and can back roll over without getting gummy/pebbly. I compared this paint on the same day with a BM paint that I was using in a different room and preferred it for coverage and final appearance (which was a surprise, right?!)

I've always liked the colour selection of sherwin williams... however the price for the quality doesn't really match. I also didn't have a great experience with my last visit to the store as the sales associate was on the phone and made me wait quite a while. When her co-worker came in she was more interested about talking with him rather than helping me. The sales associates also seem to constantly push the most expensive paint they have. But I'll probably use the store again, not enough of a bad experience to completely boycot.
