You will see all the feddbacks of real people like you who are using the products of Value Village (Painter) in Borden territory (Canada).
At the moment this firm has a rating of 3.9 stars over 5 and that rating is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is very positive, and it's founded on a very high number of reviews, so we can be quite sure that the valuation is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to give their review when they are pleased with the business, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write evaluations when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Painter belongs to the category of Second hand store.
Lots of stuff, always packed with people.
I did get a nice beer mug.
Awsome deals
Inventory changes daily. Great deals if you're willing to look for them!
Lots of goodies if you take your time "exploring"
Ok I was at value village today and I find the staff was very rude and not a bit helpful a specialty the supervisor who was working on Thursday May 3'th 2019 .. I was in the store on Wednesday the day before Thursday I seen a item I was going to buy but it was almost closing time I didn't have my wallet I forgot it at home,, the item was$5.99, So I went to value village today Thursday 3'th of May I seen the item was still there,, so I went and got it to go pay for it the price tag wasn't on it,, it must have fallen off so I took the item to pay for it I told the cashier that the price tag must have fallen off I said it was$5.99 I told her I was in the day before and that's what price of the item.. So the supervisor took the item to get a price for it,, and when she came up to the cashier she had put a price on the item and I was very shocked when I seen the price of the item she marked it at $9.99 that was a crazy price for her to put on the item, the item was Kermit the frog and it was with all the other stuff toy's and the eyes were in very bad shape,,, I was about 50cents short and she wouldn't accept it for the item,, well I told her that you lost a customer and I'm also a member there for purchasing a lot of volumes and I did donate items to value village in the past,, and she was very uncooperative the supervisor she had short blonde hair she was only young I'd say around late 20s maybe somewhere around there. And she was rude and laying about the item,, I may give value village one more time, but if it happens again I'll never buy anything else at value village again, and I am a senior and I have diabetes also. And if it happens again if I shop there,, I'll go to the newspaper office and put it in the Newspaper and you're business will go down hill. And I'll never donate my items to value village again I'd sooner throw them in the garbage..????
A lot of books
Good service, clean
Good bargains if you know your prices. Charge more that other non profits which it is not, they do give a little to a couple of charities but most goes to owner. If I can't find what I'm looking for other places I try here.
getting very expensive but a good selection but ya pricey
Very nice stuff
Mark found what he was looking for.
I used to hate Value Village. Now I love it.
Lots of stuff but you really need to take your time searching for the good stuff. Not too crowded.
It's a hit or miss. Some times theres good prices, most times not.
It's clean and has a large selection of second hand clothing and sundries.
If the staff were even slightly kinder and a little more inviting, I'd give this place 5 stars. But as is, they're close-lipped, somewhat snooty, and judgemental. The younger employees aren't nearly as bad, and there is a particular young man that is actually VERY nice and personable. The selection here is pretty good to be honest. I've bought many a high-end item here including: a KARL LAGERFELD jacket, a PRADA jacket, etc... Despite the cranky and ornery older staff, you'd do well to shop here.
As a secondary home this organization was where I came to know many beautiful staff members as a second family. I personally know how much time and effort as well as thought that goes into the selections put out on the floor for the customers. I know how personal they take to heart if they've missed or overlooked objects that are damaged because they feel they have let the customer down. Their dedication to the cause and to their community is often understated but is very poignant and the part of the reason value village Chatham will always be a staple as the first on my list for frequant shopping stops
Value for money,quick service
Great selection of clothes, books and kids toys
Love this place
Cheap, good shape and multiple varities. And the staff there are fabulous.
Really organized.
Somebody stole my debit card out of my back pocket while I was in this store. Good shirts and prices though
Prices are outrageous i hate going here
Over priced! Went to pick up some lanyards, they had them on for $2. each, and they were all donated lanyards from companies that give them away for free. I understand that they are making money for charity, but that is ridiculous. To Good to be Threw had them for .50 cents.
Wide variety and selection of items.
I love a good second hand store but two words... "over priced". Especially for a place that receives all it's products for free. Also the staff can be quite rude about it if you ever inquire about prices. Only had one gentleman who actually listened and helped me with my shopping needs. Sometimes you can find a killer deal or sometimes a joe fresh basic t shirt is $10 which you can but brand new... soo?
Some things can be over priced for second hand but I always find amazing things here
Glad they have value village here.
Good variety child - Adult and House wares
One giant garage sale. Enjoy!!
Very overpriced for used goods
Really great place for bargain hunting. Tends to be more expensive than other thrift stores, some clothing items seem overpriced for the amount of wear and tear that's evident. Sometimes you can find very gently used designer clothes, or outer wear and it's a really good deal. For myself, I am really picky about the state of the items for sale. Sometimes it's like-I can a buy a new one at Walmart for $4 more, or you are dreaming in ultra-violet asking that price! At other times it's like score! I really like that it has a wide variety of plus sized women's clothes, there's generally more selection available than in the other second hand establishments. You also get a reward card when donating items, and it adds up to a percentage off your purchase.
Prices keep going up but it's still bearable as there are still some deals to be had
Good items, good prices.
I have found the staff here to be pretty decent with good service and usually accommodating. Unfortunately, you have to be be cautious with the stock. We've come across many broken toys on the shelves, clothes with holes or stains, and games missing obvious pieces. The pricing is sometimes high or inconsistent - similar items with very different price points. Just check things carefully!
It's a second hand clothing and goods store, what more is there to say other than you will find a larger selection of items at Value Village than most other second hand shops at a higher price point. Sacrificing price for selection.
Clean professional place. Always the store leave with something.
Wish they would have a little more control over their pricing
Never know what you will find there that you may end up getting. May bring it back a little later, but, hey, fun at the time ????
Prices are way to high for a second store
Priced a little high for second hand but neat layout makes everything easy to find
Isn't a thrift store supposed to cost less? 25$ for a pair of shoes that are less at the original retailer is outrageous.
Too expensive for a place that gets donated merchandise
The prices are becoming outrages at value village. Items found at the dollar store for a dollar are priced at 6 dollars here.
This is a great place l love it. Yes yes yes ,
Pretty much a basic Value Village...busy employees - lots to look through.
Well laid out.
Dr.Laura Hughes is a great chiropractor. Made me relief first visit. She is thorough in finding your problems.Very happy .????????
Great selection. Prices are generaly good but you need to know your retail prices to tell if your getting a deal or not. Im a guy and I got a really nice dress outfit of a navy double breasted blazer grey slacks shirt and tie for about 60 dollars. The blazer retailed alone for 300. Jeans are good too usually a 3rd of retail price. I steer clear of the shirts and tshirts which i can find at walmart for not much more money, new. Books and housewares are usually an outstanding deal. I saw a like new pasta maker in the original box with all the parts and the manual for 5 dollars. That had to be at least a 50 dollar item. My gf lives to shop here. She would go once a week.
Very surprised with there space . Easy to find things lots of customer service. There are shopping carts available for all your purchases . a coupon card for certain percentage there are often discount
Clothes....The stuff we buy and don't need ,wear ,throw away..and in many cases can't afford..!! This place has something for everyone .!!!
One of the better thrift shops in the area. Always able to find a hidden treasure or at tge very least a new tie for the collection.
Prices are high /The service is great
Awsome prices

Good has a nice variety of stuff
Good deals and the staff is great
Good quality, but the price can be expensive.
Overpriced- even more expensive than if bought new. Eclectic supply of items so a good place of you are looking for something uniquely specific.
The best V.V. ive been in so far.
A place to get used items. Sometimes the prices are a little aggressive.
Compared to other thrift shops Value Village is significantly more expensive, on my last visit we saw a lot of things we liked but with nearly laughable prices. The store location itself is set up nicely and is clean and spacious.
A big building warehouse, a lot of goodies and the parking lot always full
10/10 Pretty great employees and customer service, also I love bugging my gf at work. <3
Employees could be a bit more friendly. Otherwise a great store.
So expensive you need to remind them that they are a thrift store
Great place to shop. Just need to work a bit on store cleanliness.
Best place for used clothes or random housewares
I like the recent change in the layout of clothes. I mostly come here for the childrens toys. Compared to other Value Villages, we have a relatively large section dedicated to toys!
Some prices are way too much
(Translated) I bought myself a collection of the statue of liberty (Original) Я купила себе в коллекцию статую свободы
Truly an aweful place. The employee's are treated badly, the prices are often insane and it seems to only be getting worse. Only redeeming thing is they will except anything short of garbage.
Good prices, lots of inventory that don't have tags. But the staff is very helpful when it comes to pricing
The workers were extremely helpful. Everything I was looking for was labelled accordingly and easily found. There was a wide array of brands to choose from. Definitely recommend!
Would be a better place to shop if all staff cared about the customers.
It's really unfortunate that Value Village has decided to raise their prices so much, you can find many items that have been donated to them at the dollar store for less money.
A little pricey
Clean store. Helpful and friendly staff. Organized (even Halloween season).
Overpriced and very very dusty for anyone with allergies. Bibles for missions has fairer prices and is a lot cleaner.
Find some good deals and treasures to buy
The prices have increased so much you almost pay retail for wellused items.
Blah, boring after changes with less selection
Prices are crazy buy new people let then close there doors not like it use to be. It was cheap
I'm starting to find the more pricier
Great place to when your on a budget. Friendly people !!!
Great place great people
Many items same price as Wal-Mart and that's new. Clothing smells terrible. Not for me.
It always seems to be a mess but lots of choices
Clean, well organized, but not as big as others I've seen
A lot of helpful stuffs here at a very affordable price. Highly recommended. You just have to choose properly of course. ????
Big, bright, and clean. Always a positive time whether you find a treasure or not.
Love the store but they didn't have sleds.
This Value Village is clean, well organized and the staff is friendly. I always enjoy stopping in when ever we are in town. I have found some really nice items for a reasonable price. The parking is reasonable however, can get busy since the lot isn't large. Overall they have a really nice selection of items for sale.
Rediculously overpriced for a thrift store. And the claims of donating to charity are highly misleading. All proceeds go to benefit of Walmart Inc and the Walton family. Save your donations for Too Good to be Threw or the Salvation Army
Treasure to be found. Smells of hoarding and packratitus.
For what they're selling the prices are ridiculous.
I assume cause of covid they closed the change rooms. I had a Basket full of clothes to try and just left it.
So much febreeze or something sprayed on the clothes that the smell didn't come out even after a couple of washes. I had to donate the items back due to the overpowering smell. People have allergies - please don't spray clothing with smelly stuff.
It's a decent location. Friendly staff. Pricing is high.
they have good stuffs
Good prices, and keeping everyone safe with 6 feet distancing
It is exactly what one expects from a Variety Village. Big store full of second hand goods at reasonable prices. Not my favorite second hand store. Neither the best curated nor the best prices in town but they are the biggest with the most stock.
Love the treasure hunt!
Average
Clean, easy to find yiur size you need
The prices they are asking for some of their clothing is outrageous. Way over priced.
(Translated) Good place for treasure hunting and killing time. The size and style are clearly classified and the price is very reasonable. (Original) 尋寶、消磨時間的好去處,尺寸、樣式分類清楚,價格也很合理。
It was ok. Not to busy.
Usually priced way too high. It's unfortunate that they make the employees pricing items have a price quota...it's a thrift store....
Everything is overpriced, and the refuse to properly label the sizing on the clothing ebbed if you point out that its wrong. Super Arrogant staffing that act like Total snobs. I'm glad that that's the only place on my island trip that was that bad.
So expencive for a second hand store i rember when they actually cared
Prices a bit too high. Good cashier.
Thifting is a passion, the Chatham location is the best in the region and I love that place. Atmosphere was pleasant.
They are clueless about some of the stuff that they have for sale there ????
Over priced, sticking with the Salvation Army, Atleast the prices are fair there..
So much awesome stuff. But usually only one cashier at the checkout, so don't go if you are in a hurry.
Awesome ????
Seen some items from the dollar store at VV village and they are higher priced that the dollars store.
Lots of good stuff
I was looking for a sport coat. Found it at an awesome price.
I always love Value Village! Halloween stuff is being put out already in August ????
Its value village.
I found 2 fabulous art books today plus a tortilla press! Score!
Little pricey for a thrift but quality items.
MANY ITEMS OVERPRICED, HOWEVER BIG SELECTION.
I go here any time I'm in town. Never know what hidden gem you will find
Has pretty well everything, new stuff daily. Prices are all over the place though. But bargain to be had if your diligent. Seniors discount 30% Tuesdays. If you donate something you'll get a 20% off coupon, use anytime. Has drop off service in the back parking lot.
Was organised, and staff was friendly.
Great staff, always happy and helpful
Love this store Has a huge variety of clothing for the whole family. Also have a huge assortment of books and knick knacks Great deals
It's my favorite second hand store in town, staff is friendly and they have everything, so many options!
Scored a nice Hamilton Beach coffee maker for cheap. Caffeine jitters here I come.
It's a value village, nuff said
So full of household items it was groaning!
Good selection of clothing
High prices, low veriety
Great treasures to find!
Enjoyed my treasure search
Over priced poor customer service
The filthiest store that I've ever been in.
Really good place for, as it's name suggests, value. You probably will need a fair time there as there are lots of items to rummage through, and, in case you were unaware, it is not brand spanking new in the box stuff, but it is good quality and ideal for newcomers.
There's a lots to dig in and the staff is really nice.
Over priced
Take donations from people and charge through the roof. It's like the salvation army but purely to profit off of thrift.
Great service needs reno
I bought a brand new pair of GUESS Jean's (tags still attached), and they charged me $10.49. Also bought a leather speed bike jacket for $39.99, now this same jacket retails for $399.99. I was the OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR there for 4 years and there's nothing at all they don't have or will have eventually!!!
So so
Over priced, no air conditioning, distinct smell from the musty clothes
Staff was great, friendly, answered any questions were answered quickly. The prices were a bit much as compared to buying new stuff from Costco. But other items seem to balance it out slightly. Hope the non- profit slogan is true
Verly clean and spacious. Lots of item to go through.
The books could do with being put in alphabetical order but other than that its great
Good deals
Prices are way to high for a place that gets donated items...to bad!!! I'll just stick to local second hand stores.
Some prices are a little bit high but overall a lot of good deals.
Clean, staff was super friendly
Didn't have what I needed but great value none the less
Sometimes there are great finds and other times it's over priced and sometimes more than what you'd pay for the same item brand new. They need to work on the pricing badly. It's a second hand store, we're not on Rodeo Drive.
Friendly staff. Very clean
Had a punched card with 30% off and only saved 40 cents. Was told that I have to buy more stuff.
(Translated) Good prices for low income (Original) اسعار جيده لزوي الدخل المحدود
Great deals!
Nice things to be found! Unfortunately it doesn't allow volunteers. Yet you can get good stuff, especially if you have time because it is a huge store!
Great place for books, dvd's for kids, the building is large & well spaced out. The items are quite well used, nothing falls under the ' gently' used category. Lots of kitchen and household items. Multiple racks of men's & women's clothing and children's wear. This is the majority of items that occupy the space. Merchandise is overpriced.
Not as good as before Covid.
Too congested ,too expensive, unfriendly staff, not clean.
Decent when selective.
The workers are very cooperative and helpful. There is nothing to hate
(Translated) If you are not biased about buying used clothing or household items, this is a good option. You have to be patient when searching, you can find treasures at very good prices. In conclusion, this is an excellent initiative for those who do not have resources and to extend the use of many things, that for consumption, are discarded before time.
Lot of cool clothes and old VHS,CDs,records, cassettes and more
Selection down due to the current times, still a good time
30% off on Tuesdays for Seniors! I didnt know! I just turned 60 a month ago. Im Gonna take advantage of it. Now if Viagra would do the same....
Always find a good deal here
Still shop here but less and less and things are just wildly overpriced and not priced according at all. I honestly go in here less and less
Hmmm, they get donations for free and then charge high prices to the public. They claim they help charity but am shocked at how little they help. If I could give them a minus I would.
Must go for shopping
Good place for the budget conscious person.
Found exactly what we were looking for. Very clean and well organized
always a mystery as to what you will find here
valuable village really worthy
Overpriced poor condition used goods, when I shop at a thrift store I expect good pricing and a good cause
It's what one would expect at Boutique VV.
Nice place.
I frequent this place looking for hidden gems at least twice a week with my daughter.
You have to really look to find good deals here. Prices are very high for what you are getting. The store is dirty and smells.
A lil overpriced but some good finds
Over priced used stuff from Jean to appliances
Awesome place a lot of deals and for Halloween the best place to go by far. A lot of options and variety to choose from.
Good deals
Very expensive for *donated clothing*
Great cashier
Excellent selection. Awesome prices. Friendly staff.
(Translated) Kind of fooled. A wine bottle made in Yugoslavia was disguised, and there was no flaw in it. I bought it and found it. But the store is a special industry, and it’s okay to be fooled without returning or exchanging goods. This kind of business is a bit negative: the positioning of a "good industry". Everyone should choose products carefully (Original) 有点上当了。一个南斯拉夫产的酒瓶,被伪装,看不出破绽,买回家发现了。但店家是特殊行业,不退换商品,上当也倒无事。这种买卖有点负于:“善行业”的定位。大家要小心挑选商品
used to like shopping here, don't like the new hours or being asked questions at the door ☹
Great staff, lots of selection at great prices! Fun to shop around.
Friendly and organized.
Over priced items but some t-shirts are cheap
Over priced ????
Ok selection. Prices are a bit high in my opinion for 2nd hand clothing.
Love their book selection. Their donators discount card is great too.
prices are pretty high still. I used to come here as a kid because it was all we could afford but it's too high for people still, with low income
So expensive for donated items.
Not the friendliest of staff, I find they aren't really there to help anyone and they don't really have good knowledge of their inventory.
well organized and an attentive knowledgeable staff
Super clean, organized and well staffed.
Took a friend in, we both left with more than we had planned. Happens all the time!
Everyone is so friendly and the store is very clean.
Always a good bargain
good collection
Can be very expensive
Good place to find used stuff and for good price. Staff is pretty good as well
Found a fur leopard print jacket for 19 dollars after looking everywhere forever! They have a really good selection of paintings and the cashiers are really sweet
Great place to go.
Over priced compared to thrift shops
I find there are lot of second hand clothing being sold for more then retail of same product. I cannot justify the rational.
Likely the most unique (in types of merchandise) Value Village in Southwestern Ontario. The store is also more open, clean, and tidy than most other stores in the chain. The store also has a very good layout, and practices/procedures in place for social distancing.
The prices for used items are not cheap. It's a business, not a helping hand like the Sally Ann.
Always able to find a good bargain here.
Depending on who is working it's a great place to find things you need or inspiration
Found lots of treasures! Worth going and spend some time to find something cute to add to your wardrobe
They have very few deals. Most non-clothing items are way overpriced. A lot of junk on the shelves. Almost like going to the last day of a week long yard sale.
Good place for people to save money
Prices are constantly climbing. Almost as much as buying new sometimes and what they give to local charities is laughable.
This place is getting way too expensive for thrift. I will not be shopping there
Awesome
Starting to get very pricy for a used clothing store!!
The staff are nice but most clothing is overpriced for already used items
It smelled so bad. I felt like I was in the sewers or something. I genuinely thought a toilet had exploded or something. It smelt like a sweaty man's toilet after he forgot he was lactose intolerant and drank a jug of milk. I wish masks stopped smells because it was NASTY. The smell came in waves, it was only there sometimes but it showed up when I least expected it. It was worst over in the right corner near where the furniture and larger items are (suitcases, chairs, large bags etc.) I thought the guy near me had an accident in his pants or something but he left and the smell remained, strong as ever. It was also super overpriced but the smell was the real problem.
Always a good deal!
Good selection lots to see and buy
customer service is not the best.
Nice place to get secondhand stuff
Very organized and every time I visit I find a hidden gem
I find it expensive for used goods, but also it's sometimes a handy store to go to.
Lots of second hand products priced higher than what they originally sell for. Products not cleaned or checked before being shelfed.
Quite well organized place. Broad variety of items at ok prices. I seem to recall things being less expensive a short while ago.
Lots to choose from. Relatively clean. Some of the aisles were a little squishy but most are roomy enough to push a cart through and squeeze over to let others pass. One had a large post blocking the other way through which was weird.
Lots of deals to be had on almost anything you can think of
Has decent selection at good sale prices. A lot of good second hand finds for items that would be more expensive otherwise.
Sometimes has great things for sale cheap ????
Too pricey
Way way overpriced for things that get donated to them.
Great service
Seems like the prices for everything have increased so much! Walmart is cheaper then value village now it seems. The staff has always been helpful on a positive note.
Always browse when in Chatham ( or any other city)
Love shopping there I'm always finding things I need .
Good to find a good buy
Value for money...
The manager and staff treated me very respectfully .they are very kind at the chatham location
Small store but has everything. LOTS of Halloween gear.
Way too expensive for a second hand store
Really expensive for a second hand store.
Great selection but overpriced.
Good hunting. Unique aromas.
Good selection of items
Good stuff and reasonable price
Busy lots of sales
They want brand new prices for some used clothing .
Great selection but this company has been dishonest about its charitable contributions. If you shop here don't be fooled into thinking it's a not for profit or a charity, is a company that makes about 1 billion in profit per year.
Always Great Deals
Can't say enough good things about the selection of clothing here. I find the best stuff!!!
Probably the cleanest and best organized VV I've ever been to!
Often over priced, but you can find some cool things if you dig
Whenever we take the road north we stop in. Always clean and well organized, the stFf is super helpful and friendly!
Way overpriced stuff go buy new for this price... literally
(Translated) Old store. (Original) Cửa hàng đồ cũ.
I love value village.
You can get some great stuff for super low prices if your patient and look for it!
Awesome place, good selection and friendly employees
Coll finds
Nice and clean ,great cloths ,helpful nice people
Definitely one of the better Value Villages for clothing. Lots of modern styles and cool vintage styles. I was surprised at how expensive it was compared to my local VV. Still great deals!
Overpriced, disorganized, smells funny, understaffed. They make it seem like they are benefiting charity but that's only a small portion of the profit.
Prices are quite high for a "thrift store"
Nice place
Lots of random things. A bit pricy for second hand items.
Prices are good, and the variety of clothing options are amazing.
For seconds prices could be better
Great shopping at very low cost
Some items were a little over priced, but besides that there were some deals! This value village is giant too, which is a big plus.
Love searching for treasures
Good store. Very organized
Their prices are starting to become more reasonable. I've gotten quite a few nice shirts, ties and sweaters for a good price.
Selection is great but prices have steadily risen so that now, I hesitate to buy 2nd hand when brand new is just a few dollars more.
I buy all of my work clothes here and the odd kitchen gadget. Product keeps changing daily so if you can't find what you're looking for just try the next day. I have found many Treasures here for cheap.
Nice hats
Decent Bargain Warehouse Clothing and Accessories but seem incredibly over priced things as well
Lots of things..same stuff...a little pricey for some items.
I'm always disappointed when I go to Value Village. Not really sure how they stay in business. Everything is extremely overpriced for used clothing. I find that most of the time if you shop Bargains at regular retail stores. You will find clothes brand new for the same price or cheaper. The only upside to a place like this. Is once in a while you might find something to actually has value that the people working there didn't realize had value. And you get a good deal.
Time to go now if you need something for Halloween! Lots to choose from.
Love 50 percent off day
Enjoyed the experience, found lots of great items. Prices are creeping up closer to retail though...
Nasty! Very dirty. They sell anything and half the time it’s stinky and broken.
(Translated) They have good products (Original) يوجد لديهم منتجات جيدة
Over-priced
Very friendly staff...store is well organized
Super overpriced for a nonprofit. Good stuff in there tho
Due to the nature of this business, product variety can be exciting. For paying near full retail on many items,I'm always surprised at how dirty something's are to handle.
It second hand. It's okay I guess
Lots of stuff to pick through but all over priced in my opinion!
Very clean. Nice staff
Therefore es are way to high and they seem to keep getting higher I bought a pair of no name brand shorts there and the price was 13.99 totally ridiculous I won't be going there anymore
This value village is the bomb
Crooks and castles hoodie... $7....need i say more?
Very warm experience with wonderful products and courteous staff.
The store was tidy and well organized. Prices were reasonable.
Lots of choices and prices are ok for the thrifty at heart.
Found a good price on a purse but overall I find their prices too high for stuff that is donated to them.
I was really disappointed that they took out the change rooms. Having been to Winners just beforehand where they still allow people to use their change rooms, it is a huge help in deciding about clothing purchases.
Lots of treasures to look at
Great bargains
Overpriced
clean and well organized
Ya you might find what u need but the priced are ridiculous considered they didn't pay for it and don't even wash the clothes or anything. Saw an appliance in there yesterday that was still greasy!
Pricey but always worth it for the great finds.
It's alright. A lower selection than many value villages I've been to and find the service to be lack luster
got some good Buys in there, great selection of books
Great selection for men and ladies
Huge. Clothes crammed in. Lots of selection.
Fairly organized and well kept, prices a bit high for a thrift shop
Clean and great service
Friendly and lots of stuff to pick from. A little overpriced for some items in the store
I find good things sometimes but lately it's been tough and kinda high prices
Lots of stuff other people didn't want ????
Great thrift store. Huge selection
This location is different from other locations throughout BC or Alberta! No line-ups, but there was a service rep behind a side rail getting customers to read about procedures and policies! Plus a sanitizer station! It's spread out, from clothing to household items
Typical 2nd hand store with a wide variety of overpriced goods. Keep your eye open for brand new merchandise from other discount stores but with a higher sticker price usually placed above or close to the original lower price! There are deals to be found but dont be tricked into buying something used when you can walk next door to the Dollar Store and buy it new for less!!
Great place for shopping
Prices are getting to high but it's okay
I absolutely love shopping here. I've bought an entire new wardrobe in the last couple of months and spent significantly less money than I would at a department store. Sweaters for $5, leggings for $5. I got an under armour sweater there for $20 brand new with the tag still on it. I got my husbands winter coat for $15. If you take the time to look through all the clothes I guarantee you'll find what you're looking for. They also give a lot back to the community and because people donate its keeping clothes out of landfills.
This is a fairly good sized store. It is frequently well stocked with many new with tags items. It is very clean and we'll kept. I recommend this store.
Not big on this place. Notice a lot of dirty items being sold or a set of something broken up so they can sell it as individual items to make more money. Very greedy company. Not a place I donate items too I would rather give to a company that is known for contributions to our community. Not one that throws away donations. I choose not to go back unless necessary and during Halloween sometimes it is necessary.
Most items ridiculously overpriced. Additionally, I have seen many, many broken/incomplete tools, & items that are not usable, with price tags close to what you can buy new at Winners and/or the average 'Loonie' store. Whoever is in charge of pricing needs to give their head a shake, and in regards to "vintage" items, stop using the Highest Price search function on ebay as a reference guide.
Always have something you need
Awesome selection but sometimes a little expensive. To get the best deals you should go a couple of times per week.
Always finding great things Everytime I visit.
Lots of variety good prices helps the community
Found a great little picture frame. Some of the artwork offered here is outstanding. Lots of patterns for clothing and crafts
Overpriced for second hand
Generally find what I'm looking for, good finds! Prices can be a bit rediculous on some donated items honestly...other times you may find a great deal... Staff is always friendly :)
Great deals!!
usually don't have much of the stuff im looking for but if you are looking for women's clothes they have lots of that
Value Village is just one of a bunch of great second hand stores in Comox Valley. It's a good store, open and well organized, but the prices just blow me away sometimes. For instance a used looking pair of sneakers is $15-$20. Do people actually buy used shoes for that much? On the other hand, there is a wide selection of used small appliances, and they are always priced more reasonably. Check it out yourself and see what your think.
1/2 price day! Great bargains. Good selection
Pretty good deals, Goodwill has better prices.
Nothing of any quality to be found here anymore. Prices have gone up
Best Halloween gear Ever!
It is what it is. I may be wrong but I don't enjoy paying companies that profit off of donation with minimal return to their "charitable partner"
Prices are excessive for 2nd hand merchandise
Good selection of clothing
Great amount of caring people
Lately overpriced
Wow. I thought this was supposed to be reasonably priced stuff! There's a better selection here than at the Thrift Store but it's 5 to 8x more expensive!
Appreciated their covid precautions+++
Very busy parking lot, and prices were too high for my liking.
Worth store to buy huge items ... i got a niece table at a cheap price ... well managed ... good staff
every thing youd need is here
Lots of selection
Cheap and affordable goods.
Great selection, friendly staff, well organized in categories. Sometimes prices are high and sometimes you get a great deal!
(Translated) You find everything and more (Original) Encuentras de todo y más
Always clean and organized
Prices keep going up, but overall selection is good.
Yes love going here . Great stuff
Great place to find random treasures!
I can usually find some good deals but some of the cloths can be expensive for used clothing.
I go here at least once a week. Have to scour the store to find the good deals as pricing can be a bit askew depending on what you're looking for.
They have their change room closed because of covid and they don't offer refunds if you buy any clothes, only exchanges. This is unconscionable.
good place to find potential clothes !!
Meh
Prices are too high for used clothes. Brand name clothing is even more expensive. These are USED clothes people.Anything that has been worn by someone else before being sold should be in the same category, used category and priced as such not by brand. This is not a department store. Why such high prices? All these clothes are donated so this store is going to make 100% profit off everthing in the store, even if everything was priced for $1.
Friendly and anything you need, is there
It's an awesome place
Charge stupid high prices for donated items, always find items priced above original point of sale at the store
Neat, but I didn't get a chance to look at the whole store ????????
On the smaller side. Kinda dirty and not as organised as larger stores.
They have absolutely everything here. Good prices. Great staff other than the following of everyone who is actually buying everything they pick up.. I get so offended when employees follow me around like I'm a thief. I dont steal...
Good selection but a bit pricy for a secondhand clothing store.
Its expensive for used items
Sometimes you just hit it at the right time. My grandkids love shopping here
Clean, nice selection.
They make you buy a coffee pot and maker seperate. They remove the cords for devices and charge extra for them
Value village is great. Wonderful selection and great staff
Ok
1 single soft cover novel from the 80s is 10 dollars
Loved it
Mostly great prices, you'll never know what you'll find
Very convenient price are affordable staff are friendly
Great selction and reasonable prices
Although this store is huge and supply is good, for a 2nd hand store, the prices are actually "over priced" compared to similar stores in the Comox Valley.
Crowded due to very few open checkouts, customers are not following social distance protocols as they should throughout the store and be ready for a long crowded lineup at the cash.
Prices are going to the sky.
Clean environment and found a few good garments
Prices for name brand too high
More expensive than most thrift stores but they have a bigger selection of clothing.
Prices are pretty expensive for used stuff.
pretty good, but overpriced on some things
Great deals on quality used clothing and accessories
Friendly and amazing staff. Sweet deals on stuff too!
Good place
Need to always look at prices & merchandise!????????
Consistently find prices higher than if I found the item in the original store. If you keep your eyes open and go through every piece you will find gems but the chances that you will find a good piece of clothing that won't break the bank is highly improbable and almost not worth the time. Also the parking is pain
Nice location, but on the smaller side. Copped an awesome jumpsuit though!
I had to leave, there was a smell in there that was making me feel ill, perhaps it needs a good cleaning
Some great finds here
Always find what I’m looking for. Staff is amazing!
I usually enjoy going to this store ..but one certain shift supervisor should really learn about costumer respect.... I really feel sorry for this lady ..
20 year old dirty convection microwave for 40 bucks. Seriously!? No thanks.
This store acts like they don't get things given to them the same stuff at the store in londen is much cheaper .
5 stars for nice staff but -2 for how expensive vv is getting in general.
Too pricey for a second hand store.
One trash may be another's treasure.... Albeit seems to getting overpriced...
Okay
I dont care which value village you go to these days, but they have really tooken the thriftyness out of thrift shopping. Ever since they donate to the charity (not knocking the donating part) the prices have gone up. I think they would have been better off making an option to donate (same way marks, canadian tire and sportchek do) at the register it would have been a better deal for the consumer. This location i do find the household goods selection to be scarce.
Always, a fun place.
Picked up this big sturdy basket for 6.99! always a deal at Value Village.
Daughter comes home and says Dad I need a sports Jersey for school tomorrow its spirit week..nice...lots of notice. So off to value village we go and without much effort in searching $4.99 later we leave with a happy girl..
Very well organized second hand clothing. Unfortunately can not try clothing on currently due to Covid restrictions. Exchanges permitted in some cases
Dollar store items priced higher than new. Used jeans higher prices than walmart brand new. Very few good prices at any Value Village anymore.
If you looking for a second hand material you are in the right place. Lately they have increased the price for their products . I found you get brand new product nearly the same price of value village.
A good place to get your things at a cheaper price
(Translated) Good thing (Original) شيئجيد
Overpriced, seems like you'd do better off on ebay.
Awesome service. Friendly staff.
They have everything you are looking for however; they are pricey
Best store ever
Excellent stuff for grandkids at very low prices cause they grow our of it so fast and there is a lot of viarity
Good selection of clothing, toys and other miscellany
Went to buy a funny christmas sweater and some play jeans for my kids unfortunately the prices are the same as the brand new sweaters from walmart. If im going to be paying $10 for a worn out sweater id rather buy a cheap new sweater that will last the same amount of time. Update 3rd July 2019- Dollar tree items found here for $6!! LABELLED dollarama $3 items found for $8. George $4 toddler vest found here for $9.98!!! Who ever is doing the pricing here needs to be replaced. It's getting ridiculous!
Over priced used items. It's always fun to look around though because you never know what you might find.
Can find some good deals but usually the stuff is over priced.
You have to hunt around. But there are deals. Not super clean but it is a used store. Friendly staff.
Good deals fast check out
Great place for some quick shopping, we usually check it out when we are in Courtenay. Parking lot is a little small.
It's a quaint, and diverse thrift store. I visit at least once or twice a month and I usually find some undervalued gems
Awful customer service, everything is super overpriced when in many occasions you could just pay the little extra for brand new. Prices are high even on items that lack quality and are damaged, and when asked for a hopeful discount or help managers have little to no assistance.
Not my cup of tea
Lots of good bargains, but somethings are priced too high.
Prices way too high !
Some prices are lower but there are things you can buy new withthe same price
Great deals
Found exactly what I needed
Found lots of treasure s, a Jones of NY t shirt I love! Fair prices
This is my favourite Value Village within 150kms. Clean, well organized and not cluttered
Got a great dressy winter coat and snow pants.
A decent Value Village. Rather large. As is true of all these stores the actual price, quality and selection really varries. This particular store was nice and clean and the items for sale were mostly well organized. Staff seemed a bit distracted especially at the check out counters.
Well organized, clean. Wasnt able to use Alberta Value Village membership here.
Great quality, higher end second hand clothing. A little slow to get new stuff but no fault of theirs. Large, clean store with very clean change areas.
Perfect pla e to get a costume for a theme birthday party.
Great place to find 2nd hand stuff every so often I find some designer stuff
Value village is a place I went there for 50% off
Pricey for a thrift store but I always come put with some good finds! I always drop off a bag of clothes out back for a discount card or coupon first!
I like this place but you maybe have to go there many times to get a good deal. I bought several cloths and kitchenware there and it worth my time.
It was amazing the finds was great the service was excellent.
It makes walmart look like Harrods????
Manager lady was quite rude near the change rooms other than that it was good .
They need to get some parents who shop there to control their children a little better , the toy department is not a daycare
Huge! Great selection of clothes, toys, homewarws
Good selection at awesome prices
The staff aren't super friendly.. but you can always find a good find in there at a decent price!
You'll find many treasures ???? helping a good cause ????
Yes
All good items for a good price, donates all stuff to a good cause
Not very well organized and the parking is atrocious. Poor selection of hard-line stuff. Access off Old Island Hwy is difficult: there's no traffic light and there are bends on the highway in both directions. I have to say the staff was very nice and friendly. But I wouldn't recommend this VV Boutique.
Prices are outrageously high for used clothing, some have broken zippers, not sorted well. Buttons fall off older garments, shouldnt have to pay over $4 for any item of clothes.
For profit second hand store that is not as involved in the community as the smaller locally owned store. Great selection though.
Nice big, clean store. Prices can be high and staff can be...grumpy. I always find something though so I keep coming back!
An excellent and broad selection of things.
Good clean store, friendly staff and can almost always find what I’m looking for.
Clean, bright with friendly staff. Could use more change rooms and sometimes are overpriced in my opinion
You never know what you'll find here
Fantastic value Village in Courtney!
Found what I needed but paid close to retail
Continuously getting pricy!
Most clothing pricing is good, other prices are just silly.
If you take the time to hunt for treasures you can find deals of the year at this place!
Ok enough, has a selection but lacks some organization.
Well-managed store which currently employs good Covid protection measures. Well laid out merchandise with loads of bargains on offer. Checkout staff are friendly and helpful.
Always clean and well organized
Great place for second hand goods. Clean and decently well organized even
Always have good stuff here.
Has ALL kinds of stuff for everyone!!
Ok second hand store, prices have gone up, but never know what you'll find
Found the most beautiful panel drapes, perfect colour for my Healing Parlour. Then I found another kurta and scarf for only 6.99! I was in Chatham and their store was clean, bright and organized with a great international section. Wish it was like that in Barrie. Our store is very poorly run.
Great value. Getting more expensive than smaller thrift stores but good volume.
The items were pretty nicely laid out with all the sizes and clothing types in a logical order. The fitting rooms were available and clean, and easy to find and use. The cashiers were quick and lines were to a minimum. We tried to use a coupon we got for donating clothes to the store which wasnt accepted because it was too old which was unfortunate.
Great resale shop. Good place to find something great but can be overpriced considering the items are donated.
Always enjoy finding cool stuff at VV. Prices have crept up a bit lately but still plenty of good finds to be had.
Loved it there great stuff but i find prices to be a bit high for used stuff
Prices are a bit high for donated stuff but has lots of things
Always find something interesting. Wish they gave you return on a defective product though instead of just store credit
Great Thrift store, lots of good items here
Over charge , ripp people off , scam artists and the place stinks.
Things you need? Good place to start.
Got a nice watch, and sunglasses. Good deal, instead of buying new.
Good
Great selections and setvice
Nice stuff good for students
Value village has all your clothing and household needs! As someone who frequents second hand shops frequently I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of items sold here. The clothing consisted of clothing people actually would want to wear, not clothing that looks like your 90 year old grandma who never got rid of anything donated. The household section had a decent quality too, and the items I've purchased have been of much use! The staff here is helpful and it is definitely worth stopping to take a look before you go buy something new!
Was just ok, I seen a couple of items that were exactly the same for completely different prices
Seems major brand names tees are not made available here. No under armour, or other . Poor Values
It is a very good and always clean second hand goods and clothing store .
Smells like Thrift Store
Always something fir everyone, just have to dig through everything to find the right deals..
The place is vry clean & the items r changed around with more room
It was exspensive, but i suppose that you could find something good quality for a little cheaper than normal.
It's a decent second hand store. Occasional it can be a little hectic but a deal is a deal and sometimes can find something really interesting or different.
Always Wonderful! Never know what you might find and for great prices!
I paid $110 for something that i had and i hadn't used any of the stuff, it all sat in a bag for the day and the next day i tried to return it. The manager told me that they couldn't give cash back and instead told me to either look around the store or just keep what i have. i then asked her why they can't give cash back and the only answer i got was because it's policy. she also told me that there were signs everywhere saying that you can't return things. if they don't want people coming in and thinking that they can't return stuff, then the person that helps check the person out should tell them. if the person is not listening then i believe that it's the customers fault. the person that checked me out didn't say anything. I hadn't seen a single sign with that on it. i then read the receipt to see if it says anything about the no cash back and it doesn't. if you want to get cash back after buying something from there, don't even try.
Large store but the selection is not very large. Hopefully after Christmas they will be able to increase their wares. Especially in the Children's & men's sections.
Rude
Too pricey now
Possibly the best thrift store on the world, definitely the best value village. Huge and so full of awesome stuff for rediculously low prices. I fell in love here once, the feeling was not mutual but that's on me, not this vv.
It's okay here Chatham is a pretty small city so you can't really expect a lot. In all honesty the ones in London and Windsor are better because they're bigger cities they do have a large selection of clothes but plus sizes are really hard to come by there they're usually taken first. They have a decent electronic section and a place where you can test any electronic device or appliance.
Prices are too high for the quality of used goods they are selling
Always love value village, so many great finds have been made there.
Lots to look through however prices are getting a little out of hand for a second hand store.
Too expensive for the fact that they got everything free.
Clean well organized prices steep for hand me downs....
Super clean and cheap
I loved the aroma of stale moth balls as I entered the store. Oh, I knee better but the mothballs smell..the aroma was way too much to even want to confine myself for... SO I DID IT ... WHAT EVERYONE WANTS BUT NOBODY DOES.. I ENTERED THIS BUILDING WITH ALL MY MIGHT AND DECLARED I AM WHATEVER U SAY I AM,,, I MEnt to say :"yo night wassuupp:
Decent selection
Great deals everyday !
Alright amount of stuff, at some great prices, and some terrible terrible prices
Some stuff there
Good shopping no bathroom s or fitting rooms
Call it VV Boutique....great place to find things when you are on a tight budget.
Variety of items, reasonably priced. Pleasant staff
Fantastic Spot love it!!!!!
Lots to choose from!
A bit pricey. Had alot of nice things
I was a little disappointed that their Halloween selection was lacking this year, but that's not their fault. Can usually find cool stuff here
(Translated) Very beautiful (Original) جميل جدا
It's ok very clean and the used clothing they have is always clean and priced very neat
To expensive for a second hand store
The worst value village i have every been to. I have been to them in Vancouver regina Saskatoon edmonton and more . And this is so far the worst. They wanted 27 bucks for a pair of horse manuer boots. 4 bucks for a thing that had a price tag of 2 dollars at the dollar store on it. Nothing we were gonna buy worked and had close to 10 dollar tags on it. Oh and they don't use value village points cards. Value village so take a peak at this location .
High prices you can get brand new stuff from Wal-Mart cheaper and they have a huge metal bin which they throw out good useable item where they could give to the free store in town or habitat for humanity . Give back to the community
Lots of stuff, simply pay attention to price and quality.
Good selection. Well organized. Prices could be better.
I'm a thrift store shopper, and an avid Value Village fan! Usually I dont leave this place empty-handed????
Good
Prices are way to much . Especially when it is free to them and also well used shoes shouldn't ever be more then $5-10. They want $39.00 for a pair of used leather/pleather styled shoes. Even if they were $80 new $40 is not affordable for us. Come on guys. Help the needy why u so greedy??? U r the most expensive 2nd hand store that exists...boo2u!!! Fyi these shoes are $30 new at Wallmart George brand.
Always find some cool stuff here
Although Value Village is a wonderful place to shop it can sometimes be hard to find a staff member to help you. That being said great value for price and some pretty awesome stuff so be patient enjoy your shop great place to go.
Value Village is a one stop destination for nearly all your clothing needs. From dressy to dressing up and hippy to hipster you can find it there. Besides clothing there kitchen goods. Cutlery, cups, bowls, and plates as well as appliances like toasters, coffee makers and waffle irons. There is bedding and drapery, books and lots more
A-OK. Look for the real bargains. Prices are getting too high to be worth while.
Good for deals and.prices.
Way over priced! I understand someone needs to make a profit... but considering everything is donated... it is way overpriced... an example... i seen a used candel for 7.99!!!
Great place to shop, I enjoy going there.
Found some really nice stuff. Most prices were ok, some things way overpriced tho!
Love it there????
Always a great selection, and the pricing is reasonable and consistent.
Absolutely exsilerating
Very well organized and a large clean store with tons of items to choose from.
Over priced
Prices have been going up through the years but one of the better places on PEI to get used goods, only other options are BFM, repeats, or random pawn places. If you drop off your own stuff you can get coupon cards to get some good deals
This place is friendlier than Windsor's location and cheaper
Good selection of books, clothes and household items.
Has a lot of stuff that has been very beneficial for me over the years. Lots of variety each time I visit. But lately the prices seem to be going up. Some clothing items (For example, a simple long sleeve sweater) are upwards of $11. Why, how? I can see that for some of the bigger more valuable stuff, but we're talking basic level shirts and tees. Yet they're halfway to new prices. No idea why the prices are rising so quickly. It's supposed to be thrifty!
Has gotten a little pricey I find ????♂️
Great finds, just be aware of the pricing
I smell dirty now.... great finds if you have time to kill
The stuff at the store is dirty
This is one of the best value villages I have ever been in. A super clean store. Priced are less than other vv stores and sellection was excellent. Staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. I will be back
Great service. Good selection. Well organized and arranged.
Everything is way to expensive to consider this place a thrift store. There is literally no value here.
Good place to find gently used stuff at well below retail
Over priced on just about everything.
What an amazing experience! Loved every moment of our time there. Clothes, shoes and home decor all in one stop
Absolutely love this place. Always a blast, always a good find. Edit: while I still am guilty of an occasional shop around VV, I have to point out the flaws within the corporation as a whole. For a company that takes peoples donations and sells items back to us, I'm not quite sure how reputable the company is in way of the money (they literally make from our donated items) being distributed back into the economy, or to any charities, aside from into their own pockets. I have also time and time again seen things greatly overpriced. I've seen dollar store items with the tag still on the item (missed, I'm sure) being sold for more! Unreal. I will choose smaller local thrift stores and salvation army stores over VV any chance I get.
To expensive...
It got a lot off stuff but way to pricey the stuff was given to then for old pant they want 14 to 29 dollies to much for second hand clothes.
Beats paying a clean fortune for retail price distressed jeans. Good selection lots of nice Halloween costumes.
Great place to find Halloween costumes
Good selection of used items. Prices are mostly good.
Very clean and organized well!
This store is massive and has a great selection. The workers are pleasant and knowledgable. If you are looking to buy and save at the same time then this is the place for you to shop
Piss poor prices. Very expensive for donated everything.
Good deals without the Hassel Perfect for crafters, and students.
Well organized
Unfortunately overpriced for the most part. If you have the time and patience to look through everything you might find a few gems, I'm not one of those people though.
An excellent place to pick up treasures at an affordable price.
Can't wait for covid to be over and we can start trying on clothes again
Nice place
Had decent luck with furniture here!
Got awesome finds
Parking here is a challenge! Even the street parking is packed. The store is big, and it's tidy. Value Village isn't a charity like some second hand shops. They are pricey!
Definitely a fun place to shop for treasures. Always something different everytime you go in!
I'm finding that most items are way over - priced for items that are donated. Some things you can buy new for less or what they want for used items that are less than perfect condition.
Sometimes A little pricey for a thrift store but for good reason! The staff are always very nice and welcoming and help me find what I'm looking for almost every time.
Nice selection clean store
I love this VV! it's big and clean and I always find great stuff!
Lots of things to choose from, pretty decent prices too. Feels a little unorganized in some areas.
Friendly staff, quick cashier's. Although they do charge a lot for items they did get for free and the price increases with the brand name. They could charge less or donate more to the non-profits.
Mark up on dollar store items for profit.
A bon profit thrift store that charges up too $200 for a winter jacket. Really? Crooked!!
Extremely overpriced for DONATED clothing.. Seems like they carry majority older women’s clothing. it’s super rare to grab a good find let alone for a good price. DO NOT recommend.
Good place to kill time and if you look around can usually find something interesting you can use or some nice clothes
Best thrift in north America
Good stuff great prices
Commendable that you are saving the planet by offering paper bags for purchase instead of plastic (although we turned to plastics years ago to save the forests?)But...if you are walking...a paper bag just doesn't work...no handles. That's also if you are riding a bicycle. And what if it's raining
Organized and tidy. Pretty much what you should expect from Value Village.
(Translated) Things are cheap, slowly choose good things (Original) 東西很便宜,慢慢選會有好物
Expensive
Great place to work
The prices are at par with most retail stores. It is getting really hard to find any "good deals" anymore.
Was better before all the prices went up but still lovely ????
Some items priced to high but I usually can find some deals
Overpriced
Prices are too high for used clothing. Selection is good however. Like the selection for Halloween.
was very good service
Great value village location with lots of gems to find. The staff are kind, respectful and do their best to ensure you have a safe visit during covid. I highly recommend for those who are thrifty like me!
I found exactly what I was looking for. Huge selection and fast check out.
Found some clothes. Huzzah. It's hard to find XXL clothes a lot of the time
Overpriced and store is not clean..smells musty
The best thrift finds friendly people
Good for bargain hunting
Very friendly though I didn't find what I needed, will be back
Poor pricing technic
Love value village for the value of course!
Staff is paranoid and not helpful
Their prices are over inflated for the quality of goods. Also found a couple of items that still had the original price tag on them and Value Village listed these items at a higher price! Bad business practice. On a lighter note, the staff is very friendly.
So expensive now????
They ripe u of..its there to help people ..wall that store is not the prices r crazy..they people go there cant afford it I dont shop there ..I'll bury the clothes before I give them to that store
It's ok
Kind people
Good deals
Poorly lit, clothes jammed on racks
They have great and cheap content
Great food and great service
Some good value pretty expensive considering they get it all for free
Always a great find
Good used products and good prices
Used clothes
Overpriced considering they are selling donated products.
I go here only my Uncle Ray get gas and tire pressure
Good you search through but very dirty today
The prices are creeping higher & higher. Glad I'm a senior, SHEESH!
Prices for some items (clothes) higher than I expect for used. Most other items are a steal.
Good
Totally too high on prices
Friendly staff, good prices
Always enjoy browsing Value Village.
Getting more and more pricey.
Prices are high for the value of what you get
Over priced for mostly worn out items they get for free. one example a pair of shoes that were not even washed for 23 dollars plus tax I went to Walmart got a new pair with warranty for 28 dollars it was worth the extra 5bucks
Prices r crazy..
Like all VV stores, many items are ridiculously overpriced. They seem to think that the customers dont know that everything in there was donated. As in FREE. That being said, this is a large store with good selection. Can usually find exactly what I'm looking for.
Didn't have what I'm out to looking for
Good assortment of products
It's okay. Seems to be getting more expensive. You are better off buying kids clothes from Walmart. Would be cheaper
It ok if you got a 20% coupon but parking is horrible and everything is overpriced... they shouldn't be changing people boutique prices for thing they get for free... and no they didn't charge up for there employee's for a living wage, if they did maybe they would hold staff longer.
They get some really good stuff sometimes
Great
Alwayd find tresures
Not impressed with their prices, worst of any thrift store I have been to
A great place to shop lots of items to choose from but finding its getting pricey
I found some very sweet deals.and it is not to crowded.
Always fun at VV. Like browsing through a museum and a walk around clothes closet. Sometimes you find a treasure, and sometimes you're put on hold. Add to that, when you give your downsized stuff you get rewarded with a discount card and you're making a small contribution to diabetes society.
Didn't have what I was looking for but what they did have was the same price in this thrift store as it is at the big box store across town.
Like that we can find sandwiches and they have barbecue.
Great finds
OK service, pricing is high for a second hand store. Screener was a little aggressive
Lots of stuff to pick from, and well-organized, however it does always bother me seeing all the used Superstore and WalMart brand clothing for 4.99, 6.99, 8.99 or whatever when I know the brand-new version costs 3 or 4 bucks. Way to charge more for stuff the second time round V-Village, lol.
Ridiculous prices for things they get given to them for free
Too expensive for clothes that were donated
Although it's probably one of the busiest store from ottawa right on to the island it's also the dirtiest and trashiest that I've seen
Good service but my fries tasted like a communism.
Prices are getting ridiculously high for second hand clothing. Disappointing
It's cool
Day Manager was extremely rude well never go back
Prices
They have no change rooms. I can't fathom how people buy clothes without trying them on. Also, you can't return them.
Over priced for a thrift store
Over priced
good
Like other value village, I love it because it has everything but you can't get much without much cash
Crazy busy due to big sale. Long line up for change room and at cash as well. Clothes there have gotten overpriced, but at 50% off, I could barely carry out my purchases which added up to $50. Store is well organized. Staff helpful.
Found a beautiful top for cheap.
Good selection of housewares and clothing.
Selection great prices high for used clothing
To expensive to shop there anymore really prices are more expensive here for second hand junk then it is to buy brand new it's suppose to be for lower income family's.I would rather buy eles were now tell prices drop.
Prices expensive because Walmart owns them and want you to actually shop at Walmart, not Value Village.
Great quality stuff, but overpriced and sometimes full price.
Found some sick true religion jeans and brand new added as shirt paid 20$ for both
Rip-off
LOVE their 50% sales..... More bargains than I have ever seen
Over priced Walmart stuff
Good second hand store. Lots of variety
Big place. Well organized. Prices are too high on clothes.
Definitely on the pricy end. Very nice selection in all departments though.
Clothing is WAY overpriced. Found a belt that was $2.00 more than the actual new belt at Canadian tire. Many clothes are from Walmart and are close to the same price and sometimes even more.
Prices are outrageous..
Nice staff...good stuff!
Good selection
A bit high in terms of prices but a very clean and organized shopping experience. The staff and management are doing a great job.
Prince were on the high end for a thrift store , but there was a promotion of 50% off on tshirts. After leaving i checked my recpit to find they didnt apply the discount. Went back and they glady fixed my pricing.. but were low on bills so i got 20.00 in small change.. could be a bit more organized.
Very friendly staff. Decent selection to buy items most days. Some pricing could be better.
I can get brand new clothing , at very affordable prices.
Great customer service
My favourite value village
people need to know that they ARE A FOR PROFIT STORE AND NOT A CHARITY!! i think a lot of people who donate here think it ALL goes to charity. In fact they only give a VERY SMALL amount to charity like 1% or something. if you want to know the exact amount/details you have to contact them as the info is not on their website. as they are a for-profit business theyre prices reflect that and are way higher than the local thrift shops. i wouldnt even mind if it wasnt that the quality of the items doesnt reflect the prices. holes in clothes, chips on ornaments, and crazy prices for dirty, old shoes.
This 1 isnt that great
Expensive
Super helpful and friendly staff, every time I go here it is an experience.
Staff was invisible and the prices for most the stuff was way to high
This Value Village is a busy place. Good selection, but I do find certain items are priced a tad high. Staff is polite and when we have dropped items off for donation, the staff has always been very nice.
The staff do not care at all. Multiple workers passed by me and another woman waiting at the showcase to see something. After a while the woman goes to ask one of the cashiers to get one if the workers doing nothing to help us. They told her to get service she needed to ring the bell. Once I got service I wanted to see something that was in one of their plastic hanging bags inside of a black box. However they told me I was not allowed to open it to see what it was. So they want someone to pay 60$ for a mystery box? I then asked what something else in the showcase was and the worker just replied "I don't know".
Over priced for a thrift store
Staff was friendly
Very pricey for used
Helpful staff
Good selection of clothing, well organized
Busy time of year with costume shoppers.
Nice place too find everything
Good place to find a bargain
Good selection but not happy with how early it closes
Pretty pricy for a second hand store.
Love the place very low prices and workers are very nice. Staff has a great knowledge on where things are located in the store. Loved it!!!!!
More expensive than local thrift stores but every Tuesday, seniors get a 30% discount
(Translated) They give some products as new and since they are used, I did not like it very much is my opinion. (Original) Dan algunos productos como nuevos y pues son usados,no me gustó mucho es mi opinion.
(Translated) Very good place (Original) Muy buen lugar
To expensive
Good used clothing
It's a regular value village
Charge to much fot things they get for free
Ia a clean store and decent quality of used things.
7.99 for children's sweat pants with stains and some with rips, crazy
Return policy is anti customer, totally bad business practices!
Sweet & Sour Chicken balls were burnt with dried chicken inside. Egg rolls were very salty. Chicken in a tasteless Chicken cop suey looked like boiled pieces of chicken
Good stuff
Great store very friendly staff :)
Prices are starting to get very high i maze well buy from walmart
Like this store quite a bit!
Prices are a bit high. Place is not bad.
(Translated) Good things (Original) Buenas cosas
Pleasant staff and well organized....however...some prices are beyond ridiculous. Twenty dollars for grubby used shoes, is gouging at its worst. I used to shop there regularly and rarely left with less than two or three bags of goodies. Now I shop there rarely and often leave with one or two items if anything at all. Do the math, Value Village.
50/50 shot you will find something good or you will find almost retailed prices used stuff.
Value Village has overall a good choice of products. But they charge way to much. They want to charge by label tag. It is all donated so they would do better to moderate their pricing
I find their prices seem rather high for things that have been donated. I have seen items in the store that I had purchased previously at the dollar store and the Value. Village price was the same or even slightly higher
Over priced
Great treasures and finds.
Over priced
(Translated) I have nothing to say (Original) No tengo nada que desir
Just have to hunt for the bargains.
For a place that sells used items, that are donated for free, there is an incredible price increase that has been creeping up over the years. To make matters worse, no money is actually donated to charity, ask the staff for yourself. How value village can charge so much for used product is absolutely beyond me.
Nice and clean
Way to expensive
Great place togive clothes a second chance great prices to
Illogically bundled items, most pull basket wheels jammed with lint, lots of stock but needs culling, would buy more if I found more, sales and promos worthwhile.
Pick up phone
Clothes were dirty and/or stained. Lots of stuff over priced. Some stuff should have just been thrown away
Some pretty good thrift-scores to be had here if you are able to stop by often. Not too crazy about the Chinese imported Halloween stuff.
Great pair of blue Jean's for 70% less then I would pay at Clothing store
Always find great deals on gently used items. And Tuesday Is always seniors day!
Prices are often higher than new goods. But when its cheep, its worth it.
Great selection, newer building. Same old classic value village
Prices are rediculous!!!
Great deals
Lots of used stuff
The shop is great but some prices of items are a bit high though, they should lower the prices since these stuff are mostly donated...
Too expensive
Just a place where you can find anything and everything
You can get some great stuff for super low prices if your patient and look for it!
Pricing is outrageous, store could be cleaner
The last time I was at Value Village? I purchased books. The prices are good. ✅
Best Halloween selection I've every seen
Expensive .better of buying new
Very disappointed at the prices they are now charging for donated clothing. I realize there are other coats associated with running a business but charging $29 for a light jacket in poor condition is really unfair. Most who shop here who rely on thrift stores to allow them to find clothes for themselves and their family that they can afford on limited incomes.
Clean and organized
Always find something I need. Whether clothing shoes or books. Go every Tuesday for senior discount. Great place
Prices are getting really ridiculous
Good selection. Good lighting. Clean. Good Covid protocols.
Great place to buy clothes for amazing prices. For example the other day i was there i saw a full wedding dress with a veil for $60.
Was not able to try on jeans to see if they fit. Was advised to try them on at home and if they didn't fit could bring them in for an exchange, but since I have to try on several pairs to find ones that do fit. I don't see why they couldn't be brought back for a refund as I would have ones that wouldn't fit. Not only would I be out money but also my time and gas.
Higher prices than most vv's
Great prices and selection
Prices are terrible here unfortunately. They will take anything that is interesting and price super high and place it in their display. Careful over paying here.
VALUE Village are good in pinch other than that not
Will never shop value village again it is very expensive
Enjoy looking for treasures.
The prices are a little high compared with other second hand stores
Very crowded and staff were talking to each other rather than helping customers
Can find plenty of little bargains. They go quickly, so don't blink. But sometimes you find your kids old clothes donated at a price i wouldn't dare to ask. Great staff trying their best.
Love second hand stores... But some where a long the road they have lost the *value*... things are rather pricey.. all over these stores... looking for the best deal for the least cash... happy looking!!!
(Translated) We go here mainly for household appliances and electrical goods (Original) Ходим сюда в основном за бытовой техникой и эллектро товарами
Love Value Village, but the Courtenay location desperately needs more parking.
I find the price at Value Village way to expensive for stuff they get for free . And when you can see price tags from the original place it was purchased from and value village prices are for more then it was when it was new something is wrong
Good value for a village.
was the cheapest second hand store to go too now it is cheap to buy like Jean's at Walmart for the same price.. prices way to high
Over priced
Very clean. Well organized. Friendly staff. Good quality second hand items at reasonable prices.
to be second, this chip
Great place
Its ok. They have a fair selection
In a good location, clean appearance with convenient parking out front.
Wife loves this place, likes the challenge and hunting for deals, plenty of new items, I go here for electronic cables etc, normally a weekly experience
A decent thrift shop. Best visited on days where there's a % off. While merchandise is always revolving the prices have gone up. Also note while Value Village is charitable, it is not a charity. It is a business looking to make money. (This reviewer starts at 3 stars and goes up or down accordingly.)
Priced a bit higher than before, for used clothing. Good selection of hard to find items, good variety of items as well. I wish I could find the word 'CLOSED' somewhere on your site, when you are actually closed, instead of saying "hours might differ" on certain holidays.
Good deals, but very busy.
Quite spendy but a pretty good selection of clothing. Otherwise, mostly junky, dated decor, linens, toys and furniture. Every now and again, a gem, however. Worth an occasional browse.
varried selection, know your prices before you go, friendly staff
It's clean has nice wide space between rows and everything is put in order of size and it's easy to look at.
I used to really like value village until it was brought to my attention that walmart actually owns it. Plus the fact that although they get the stuff for free they jack their prices up a lot. The staff is usually very limited and unfriendly. Good place to shop for Halloween because they have a good selection and usually cheaper than other places. You can find good deals if you have the patience and time to look. Although they can be more expensive than other thrift stores they're cheaper than buying brand new.
It's a good place and there are also good employee's. And management be great
Too expensive since everything is donated to them by their customers
I always find at least a couple of great deals. Huge turnover of items s. If you see something you like its best to grab it right away!
Bought a little pink vase today for $1.99. Stopped at Dollar Tree and they sell the same vase brand new for $1.25. Shame on you Value Village.
Tons of things to rediscover! Found a ton of used items for cheap!
Super busy! Great selection of stuff!
They priced 2 sets of shoes for 6.99 and when I went to pay she said she thought they were worth more so infront of me they re priced them at double the price!!! It was so crazy my kids thought they were getting them so I had to just accept the higher price and pay it..damn crooks if you ask me
Got all of my Halloween stuff in one place on the first try!
Well for a thrift store the prices are way too high and the electronics are dirty as heck . Unorganized. I saw a pair of pink sandles for 10$ but they came from dollarama and I paid 4$.
It has affordable wares
Can be a bit pricey, but I've found some good deals. If you donate prior to shopping they give out 20% off coupons so that can help.
Getting pretty pricey in there guys!
Very good sales
Found the GPS I was looking for.
I have an 80's party to attend. They had a perfect outfit that was truly from the eighties! Got some great name brand pants while at the store too. Great selection and amazing prices!
Lots of treasures in used stuff
Great customer service!
Packed amply with Halloween stuff !
Fun place to browse. I've found a couple legit thrifts in here over the years.
Good place
Seems the price of goods there are steadily getting out of control. Used electronics for example, especially games. Some are priced at exceptionally more than fair market value as a quick online search can confirm. Will be taking my business else where.
Very expensive. $18-20 for a pair of jeans. Come on.
you can find valuable items cheaply priced
Found a costume
Got some nice puzzles
They had a McCafé cup on one of the racks, I think it was on sale for $20. Probably worth the price.
High prices compared to other thrift stores (Sarnia). Not great. They have gotten a little greedy. Just giving my honest opinion.
Expensive for used clothes that they get for free.
One of the most over priced locations I have been to
You can pretty much anything u need there.
Usually very good depends on the day you visit and what your looking for.
Too many staff standing around talking , long lines at cash.
Clean well laid out store
Tons of variety..found everything i was looking for
Starting to get a little too expencive
Its getting really expensive
Brought 5 teenagers for a browse and everyone found something they wanted.
Too expensive for second hand items that are donated
Lots of things.... good prices....
clean, friendly and fast at the checkout.
They have the best finds of all the value villages I have visited.
Value villages prices for there 2nd hand clothes certainly have risen drastically over the last 5-7 years. What was once a place that the underprivileged could shop for a quality used wardrobe now seems to sell the same items for near retail sale pricing.
Value for quality
Lots of interesting stuff. Electronics are a gamble but the clothes are decent.
Great little store
Good store but there price are totally ridiculous to expensive poor people can't by their
They used to be awesome but now ask WAY to much money for used clothes
Some great deals
Great selection
Feel prices too much for used and donated items.
I prefer the Sally Ann. Value Village is a for profit thrift store with pretty steep price tags. If I want to pay retail prices I'll sooner shop at a proper retail store.
They just about take most stuff as donations. Good prices.
purchases made Saturday afternoon were eligible for 50% off Sunday and Monday for members but were not informed by staff. Attempted to return and repurchase for discount Sunday as I have done in the past but was refused. We have donated many van loads of quality items over the years but will now support other local charities.
As a fan of second-hand stores, it's always good to find good ones. This place has selections or clothes, books, jewellery and it's all very well organized. I even managed to find some really neat boardgames and books.
Big. Lots of variaty
Its a good place to shop for used stuff
Lots to choose from
It's got great employees
Great finds but a bit pricier for second hand.
The prices for items that have been donated to this store ridiculous and far beyond the reach of the very people they are supposed to be helping.
Love this store but can be a little pricey
I got the Seinfeld Scene it DVD game here, with all pieces still in their wrappers, for like $3. I love Seinfeld. Played it with my friend a couple times, lost every time, haven't played it since.
A nicely laid out store but didn't have what we were looking for. A wire dog cage
They had exactly what i needed at a great price and the store is clean and organized!!
Terrible!!!
Great place for what ever u need
It's a nice place
great store☺
Fantastic ! Manager Anthony was very professional and eager to help !
Clean public washrooms. Prices somewhat high for used items.
Prices are too high for second-hand clothes
(Translated) I loved ! (Original) Me encantó !
Hate the big price tags
Everything is crazy expensive, it was quite some time that I have been there then when I was in looking around I realized WOW this is why I do not come I could go to Walmart or Giant tiger and pay less for NEW things. 13.99 for a mens dress shirt the cheapest was 8.99 that was old and ragged! I thought this store was meant to be affordable for people? In reality you might be saving 5 to 6 dollars but for the extra 5 your stuff is new! Big thumbs down Valley Village you are crooks.
Ok selection of used items.
Value really!
Housewares was not organized at all.It was the worst I've seen in 6yrs I have shopped there. They seem to give more care to the clothes area.
Great selection, tidy, friendly staff.
Lots of selection, very poor condition bathrooms, friendly staff
Good.
Prices went up a lot in the kitchenware section lately.
It's a bit pricey for a second hang store. All safety precautions against Covid 19 in place. Just prices should be more realistic
Decent
Always a good thrift store to check out
Lots of stuff!
Over price for free stuff for profit pay little for product to non profit
Lots of variety of items to check out at really good prices.
Can find some hidden gems. Friendly staff. Currently can't try anything on bc of covid.
Their clothes smell funny there was this really nice cashmere sweater that I didn’t buy because it smelt like an old warehouse
Super clean and bright store. Very spacious. Most items are priced fairly. Would recommend and will return.
Expensive - low product value - not much selection
Organized store that makes shopping delightful.
The staff is great But THE MUSIC IS WAY TO LOUD IT'S SO DISTRACTING
Overpriced for used clothing
Good stuff little pricey
Stuff is donated and costs way to much. Its getting to the point where low income families cant afford it.
This was a Clean Store & Well Organized. Some prices are good & some are not so good. I saw some Tshirts that were priced at $4.99 & personally they were only worth that or less in my opinion. Some Tshirts were priced at $9.99 but yet not worth that price at all. You can go to a Department Store & get the same brand NEW Tshirt for that price ! They really should consider lowering their prices. It's not Thrift Shopping if you have to pay New Prices on their clothing. I mean go to another Thrift Store that has theirs marked way cheaper. Do your Thrift Shopping at the Thrifty Priced Stores. I went to one yesterday & I got 3 really nice Tshirts for only $1.00 each. I Thrift Shop for Thrifty Prices & to find my good deals. I personally wouldn't recommend buying your 2nd hand clothes there. Go to other thrift stores to get your used clothing much cheaper. Otherwise if you don't mind paying higher prices at Value Village then it's a nice store for you to shop at.
Kinda pricey for a thrift store
Great prices
Prices are being set too high
Not cheap.
It's a value village. Staff isn't helpful, most items are overpriced, I've found $9 Costco shirts there listed for more than $9, a lot of things are broken, it's very dirty, I try to avoid it unless I'm desperate for a new pair of work pants.
Over priced second hand stuff :(
The great sales they put on
Can't go in because of the chemicals they use to either clean or dry the clothing. Nasty stuff, triggers my asthma whenever I try to go in.
Too expensive for a second hand store
Worst experience ever. Went to do an exchange and take another browse. When it was time for checkout, I wanted to use my status card as it’s my right. It took over ten minutes and 5 employees to tell me it wasn’t working nor was I given an …
Well organized and clean.
If you are lucky can find awesome things..but they put a price too much..rather buy brand new.
Getting drastically overpriced
Definitely one of the cleanest and friendliest Value Village I've ever been in!
Seniors get 30% off on Tue. Some things prices seem to be high others are ok, but you have to pay attention add some things are dollar store articles or some things you can buy new for the same price. i.e. storage containers.
Friendly, hard working staff. Great service.
Good place for second hand stuff but can be over priced, ie: $2.99 for dollar store items. Seniors (60+) discount on Tuesdays
29$ for used boots. Everything overpriced. So many good options in town. Shop elsewhere
cool store one of the nicer value villages with something for everyone, also good prices of course!! could really really use more parking somehow. Summer time is a rush for parking in that tiny lot lol.
(Translated) I was brought to this store by Hu Saiying, and I went into a shop and didn’t understand. (Original) 被侯赛英带到这个店里,一进去一股骚味,搞不懂
Tonnes of choice but prices have gone up considerably since last year.
Good used clothes
Variety and well organized, friendly staff.
Ok store, expensive has hell
Good selection of Halloween costumes and supplies
(Translated) A little expensive to be second hand store (Original) Un poco caro para ser tienda de segunda mano
Prefer smaller thrift shops but can still find unique items here.
Great place for second hand clothing. Wish it were closer too where I live
Big store, huge selection.
Overpriced and would not accept any coupons, birthday discount
Good inventory and friendly staff
Wow! The prices have certainly gone up!! I can buy brand new for almost the same price. Some items had original store sticker but VV asking more!!!!! Come on, the idea was to make second hand stuff reasonably priced, not to gouge the customer on items that were given to you for free.
(Translated) There are many things for Halloween and events, and of course all clothing and daily necessities are cheap. You'll be lucky if you find a bargain (Original) ハロウィンやイベントの物も多く、もちろん衣料品や日用品全て安くて良い。 掘り出し物が見つかるとラッキーですよ
It was clean and well spaced out.
Poor
Good
Not what it used to be but still good place to get cheap used stuff
Prices are high for second hand, but the selection is the best in town because of the size of the store. So if your willing to pay a few dollars more for convince, it's the place to go.
Nothing much there
Way too expensive and a mess. You can go to the mall and buy clothes new for the same price they charge for second hand donated clothes
... Amazing
Very clean store as I have been in a few. But prices have gone up I'm finding for used items
Fantastic 50% off sale when I last visited on Sunday 28th. Wide variety and good as new
Mi love the warm welcome and faces of the workers in the store.
Great prices
Great/helpful staff and alot of choices and clothes for men, women and children. The prices should be a little lower....but besides that...all good
Way over price for being a second hand store
A large store providing a great selection, but like most recycle stores, low volume products accumulate, effectively reducing sales space for more popular merchandise. Please clean out the junk.
Best nens clothing for a thrift store
Good Place for used clothing
Clean, and well stocked. Employees are knowledgeable and friendly
Always find new treasures and something that fits well!
Loved the Halloween selection this year
Smelly and overpriced. Inconsistent pricing too.
Much better than I expected
Was bothered by they had more rows of handbags but they were not sorted by color. If they did would be Hella easy to pick out one if your in a hurry
I could take my dog out so he could pee in the parking lot
Good hours. Gr8 staff. Decent prices.
Get place for getting work pants. Sometimes the jeans are in such good condition, I use them as good jeans for a few months.
Clean tidy lots of room to social distance
I found everything I needed
Get it free .sell it for almost the same price as if you got it for sale from the store.
Clean, well kept store. Sales clerk was friendly and offered great advice.
Lots of nick nacks , good location
I went today after a few months reprieve of shopping at Value Village. I have heard time and time again about how over priced they are for a second hand store. I did notice the prices but it wasn't, in my opinion an exorbitant difference. Today, the price was noticable! WTH? How can people on low income shop there? Way too overpriced for used clothing. I can buy new in some instances for a few dollars more than the used article of clothing. I am no longer going to shop there. Overpriced, overpriced, overpriced!
Nothing but great finds and such great staff:)
The same as all the rest..... more pricey than I feel it is worth.
This one in PEI was fantastic
Way too crowded to find any clothes but good deal on furniture
Expensive
Good selection of books
Good alot of food stuf they sell everything
Too high prices for used stuff
Very expensive, everything is donated to them and they mark the prices way up.
Looking for a kitchen article. Couldn't find them
Prices are way too high for donated goods. Sometimes they want the same or higher prices than you can at regular stores. This is a shame as alot of low income families can't even afford your prices.
They get free stuff and charge people in need top dollar ????
Found some good hard cover books for reasonable price. The Customer service was good, checked out some silver jewellery that was well priced. You never know what you are going to find. They have some interesting pictures & good quality frames that you can use for decorations or craft items - like a necklace display. We all like to save a few dollars here & there.
Love thrifting!
Love it
Always fun to visit. Allowed to buy but bring back if not working
Too costly
Big thrift store, clean and well organized. If you're looking for something specific, it's hit and miss. Good for browsing, although pricing can be inconsistent.
Tons of variety, slightly high prices for second hand clothes. Definatly worth a look, there is a lot of fun items.
Of Prices are way too much, get a grip (value)? Don't think so ????
Didn't let me use a coupon I recived after donating a lot of clothes The coupon didn't have any restrictions on it
Great selection of used goods. But I find the prices to be a bit steep due to the fact that it's used clothing/ goods and value village gets their stock for free. +100% markup. And they don't donate their profits to a good cause. This is a for-profit corporation. If you want to help go to a salvation army or thrift store that actually helps the community, not profit from it
I did enjoy my visit at Value Village l found everything in order and easy to find!
Great stuff at even better prices!
Expensive, considering that all the items were given to them.
Music was annoying it made me want to leave
Great store with good selection
Got a lot of good stuff for a good price
Over priced for things given to them
You can get some good deals but you have to know prices otherwise the deals may not be a great deal.
Not as well organized as some of their stores
This I my family's go to for books, clothes and lego
Love taking my kids here every summer
This store is clean and staff is very friendly
Great selection and prices
Always find something
Nice clean store
This Value Village in Courtney is fantastic! Full of great finds!!
Good.stuff tonight!
Very clean, wide range variety, great customer service.
Nice caring respectful staff 100% good customer service and good Covid 19 safety rules and a very clean store .
Pretty neat
I do love value village , it's one of my favorite thrift stores but the prices are the highest for thrifting in Chatham
Always find deals in there
Great store and great service.
Great food great service
Friendly staff!
Good sales, price range not on sale can be high.
Great selection, staff work hard to keep new stuff on the shelves. Pricing is always a bit all over the place, but still a lot of good deals if you look.
Friendly and helpful staff! Pretty clean and organized!
One of my favorite places to go when visiting the Island. Never know what you will find.
Great place to good second hand things.
Take it or leave it
Prices are way too high quality is getting worse
.. .l . M8. 2
Good stuff for cheap
Smells very bad
They need more parking and more cashier's.
Employees are a bit odd.
Tto Lisa thanks would love to talk with you asweetie ???? And pepole have some Proplems everyday everyb where .And i love the service here thanks to asome workers .smile everyone great jop ????
