Picked up a window a/c unit and item was damaged in the box. Returned to store and exchanged without an issue. Staff was chill and friendly, they dealt with me promptly and professionally. I will be back.

We purchased a couch from Dufresne in September that didn’t fit in our house so we returned it. They said 7-10 business days to get my refund. It’ had been well over a month and still no refund! I called guest care three times and it was always the same answer; “you’ll get your refund in 7-10 business days”. I finally decided to call the store directly and spoke with the manager. She looked into it and dealt with it in under a half hour. Guest care was not great but the staff at the store made this annoying situation go away and were all around great to deal with; Id definitely buy there again.

Lots of selection, lots of great stuff and great staff. The staff member who greeted us was friendly and helpful and helped us pick out the perfect sofa. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and he was really great at his job. The store is massive and when I visited, there were very few people there, so it was very nice and open. It’s a very nice modern store, and they have a lot of great things for a very reasonable price. Delivery is also good, so no complaints there. Good job!

Worst experience I have ever had. TL:DR; ended up empty handed and with 150 CAD less. I bought the last and only table set they had, but they managed to damage it before or during shipping. They owned up and said they did damage it and the repair would take at least 3 months to be done. No reasonable human being would be ok with that so I said no, specially because I didn’t have any other table in the house since I just moved in. Like I said, it was the last item of its kind and there was no way to replace it. They wanted to charge me 25% restocking fee for returning the table set. I mean, it was your fault so why I am the one paying for your mistake?! After a lot of back and forth calls, customer service hung up on my face so I had to come in the store to solve this. They ended up refunding me without charging me the 25% restocking fee(I mean, I didn’t change my mind about tbe product, they damaged the goods I bought) but refused to refund the white glove shipping. In conclusion, I ended up paying them to damage a table set for their own amusement, ended up with an empty dining room and with 150 CAD less. Never again

Great Experience! Our sales rep Jaidyn was AMAZING! She led us through some options and wanted to make sure that we got a sectional that fit our life and our budget. We also took the time to look at some beds. Jaidyn knows her stuff and was able to lead us through the financing process quickly and easily. We're looking forward to our new sectional and will be going back for some more furniture to help make our house a home.

First time purchased furniture from 102 Circle Dr E #102, Saskatoon, furniture arrived about tw0 month time and with incorrect parts. when try to contact them , they told me to send picture. same day i have sent pictures afterwards no response . after few days i called guest care to get update. we have order parts it will take one more month to arrive that was response !!! afterwards i try to speak to sales person , she was off. so i asked recaptioned to transfer me to store manager. she lied and said sales person is the store manger. so she did not transfer my call. and told me to assemble furniture with incorrect part . very rude and arrogant recaptioned they have at store 102 Circle Dr E #102, Saskatoon. i did not expect this kind of service from dufresne . i will not recommend any one to purchase from this store. P.S ( i haven't received my correct part yet. )

We bought 4 sets of furniture in early April before moving to a new home. Bought from Dufresne Saskatoon Some of the furniture came on time, and the second we waited as agreed by May 25. Today we called the store and were told that the furniture will only be available at the end of June. I'm shocked. If we hadn"t called to find out, no one would have informed us that the furniture was late. To all my questions, why some worker from costumer service said that there was a delay from the factory and they could not help us, but we have to be patience. we must live a month without furniture.... We prepaid in full for a new mattress which was supposed to take 2 - 3 weeks to arrive as they didn't have any in their inventory. 10 weeks later there was still no mattress and they stopped calling us to give us updates on its status, which was disappointing. We would call in each day we were told it would arrive only to be told that it would be in "next week". We eventually had enough and requested a refund, which they would only send in the mail, still haven't received it though. Terrible experience. Ended up going to Leons & got a mattress the same day we bought it - way better service.

Ordered a couch and chair as part of a living room renovation which is the last part after we painted. We paid extra for Dufresne to remove the old couch. The new couch and chair arrived promptly but that's were the good ends. They would not remove the old couch or chair as it was not scheduled but they would "be back next week" so we would have two couch's and two chairs in our living room with absolutely no room, like what the hell are you going to do with two different sets of furniture? After a few angry phone calls to Dufrene a third party showed up to remove the old couch and chair, and put a hole in the our just barely painted wall (2 days). Never again.

Great experience from the moment I walked through the door! Got greeted right off the bat and asked if I needed any help. I have to say dealing with the people at this store is a horrible experience. I ordered all of my appliances a month before I needed them and they were all in stock. They damaged my range and had to get a new one from LG but didn't care to call and inform me of this. 2 month later I'm still waiting for this, and every time I call I'm told different things. They have not made this easy and have offered no compensation for my issues. There excuse is always that its LG fault in manufacturing and shipping but I ordered a range that was in stock so if they wouldn't have damaged it there would be no issues.

Update: the following day after i posted this review Dufresne responded below. I emailed them that day and received one reply back on Feb 19 asking for additional information. I have not been contacted back since. Less then a year ago my husband and i bought a sectional under the recommendation of one of the floor associates. Initially a beautiful piece with great delivery. However that is where the service stopped. We began having issues with the threads pulling, velcro not holding and cushions loosing all density. We called for warranty on the product and had one initial visit, followed by round about phone calls with technicians stating various aspects we were having target issues with were either covered during one call or not covered in the next. We asked at one point to speak with the manager however they refused to answer the phone and kept saying they would send us a copy of our warranty again. We are still waiting after roughly two to three months for the sectional to be repaired. If this is finally a means of getting a manager to call us, please do so. It would be nice to actually talk to you about the product your staff sold us.

If you're looking for an entire set at once, the prices are quite reasonable. Trying to find something to match a bed I bought elsewhere wasn't happening, as I couldn't find any warm wood tones (the picture I attached was the closest).

We have previously purchased a coffee table/nesting table set with them, and we were very happy with the process/product. More recently we are buying a couch from them. They were very easy to work with during COVID, and the price was hard to beat. UPDATE: we had a small seam open in our new couch when it was delivered. When we called about the warrant (normal + we paid for extra), they told us to pull on the exposed threads, which opened the seam even more. To get warranty in to fix the seam has been difficult. No one can give us a time as to when it will be fixed (told it will be more than 4 months after we got the couch and initially called). They are good at sales, poor with warranty.

Purchased a couch, chair and coffee table recently from Dufresne in Saskatoon. Sales staff was pleasant to deal with however the power chair was missing the power adapter and we had a defect in the coffee table that we noticed upon initial delivery. Reported the claim for the coffee table within 24 hours and after no response for a week, someone finally returned our call only tell us that we were past their 72 hour window to report such a claim and that we were out of luck. Guest care would not escalate to a manager and were not budging on this so we went back to our sales person who had to escalate this. They finally agreed to repair the coffee table. Over a month later we are still waiting for the power adapter and we were just informed that our repaired coffee table will be yet another month out as that is the earliest delivery date. Guest care has been difficult to deal with to say the least. We are fairly easy going / easy to please customers and feel as though our business is not wanted. We will be shopping else where in the future. Stay away!

DON”T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ORDERING FROM THIS STORE. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. We placed an order for coffee tables, and side tables lamps and a rug( Power buy deal) in April, 2019. Apart from the fact we had to wait for almost a month to get the item delivered which honestly wasn’t a big deal, we got the WRONG ITEMS delivered to our house. We went to the store three times hoping to get an explanation as to when we might be getting the right items delivered, no one could come up with an explanation. We called the guest care several times, all they had to say is “oh we don’t know when the right item would be coming in”... Two weeks ago, I finally got a call that items are back in store and they wanted to schedule a delivery time. I booked June 27, 2019 for the delivery to happen between 11:30am and 2:30pm. We got a text confirming same as well. We were home all day waiting for the delivery. At 2:39pm on June 27, 2019, I called the guest care and I got the shock of my life that they had canceled our delivery and they had a note on the file that they had called us to tell us they canceled the delivery WHICH OF COURSE IS A LIE. No one called us or left a voicemail message saying they had canceled. Lying that you called when you NEVER did says a lot about the company. They wasted out time waiting for a delivery they knew they would cancel on us. Right now, There is NO CONFIRMATION AS TO WHEN WE WOULD BE RECEIVING OUR ITEMS .. I called for a REFUND and the guest care representative is telling I have to pay 10% restocking fee.. FOR WHAT? YOU DELIVERED THE WRONG ITEMS TO MY HOUSE AND I STILL HAVE TO PAY? It’s well over two months since we have been dragging this whole issue. That’s RIDICULOUS. All I want is just my MONEY BACK. I don’t want anything from your store again. Just give me my REFUND. This company doesn’t even deserve the one STAR. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DON”T BOTHER ORDERING FROM THEM. They are the WORST furniture store I have ever had to deal with.

The worst service you could imagine. Purchased a bed in 2018. It came with two sets of legs. One pre-installed. The bed was too low with the installed legs and when we tried to removed them they were on too tight to remove without risk of damage. Service team came and switched them and took the installed legs with them. New mattress means different height- we need the legs that came with the purchase but have been informed that now we have to order them and buy them ourselves from the manufacturer. Don't mind paying for them but since they have the relationship with the manufacturer and took the originals it seems like any business that cared about their customer would order the legs on our behalf. Never buying another thing from this business or Ashley which apparently has the same care team.

We had excellent customer service with Lorna, she was super helpful and asked us questions to find out exactly what kind of coffee table would suit us best. We didn't make a purchase right away but went back the next day and bought it then. We love that they sell Canadian made products and they have a pretty good extended warranty. Only thing that could make this store better is if they had the product in stock for immediate pickup, but we only have to wait a couple days which isn't bad.

My boyfriend and i went into dufresne looking for a new mattress, and right from when we walked in our salesmen Mario greeted us and helped us along the way! He showed us their service where you lay on their bed full of sensors, that let us know what type of bed we need for our body types! After we knew what kind of bed we needed we tried out three different mattresses, and pillows! We actually ended up buying the very first mattress we layed on! we got an amazing deal; Mario made sure to keep in contact with us and go above and beyond to make sure we got our mattress shipped to us as fast as possible! I would definitely recommend this place and Mario! He's definitely is the Sleep Specialist!

It's not often that I give a one star review. I believe the sales person was just after his commission check. I showed him my plans of our newly built home (we didn't have posession yet) he said it would fit. I was reluctant, but I thought he does this for a living he should know. It didn't end up fitting where we were wanting it. The furniture was supposed to arrive early March. I gave him my business card that had both my cell phone number, business number and email address. March came and went, and I didn't hear from anyone at Dufresne's. I decided to call in early April and the furniture was there. They had data entered my phone number wrong and instead of trying the other phone number or email to contact me they just didn't bother. We had prepaid for the furniture as they were custom pieces, so I'm guessing it wasn't a top priority for them as we had paid in full already. Then they deliver the furniture and the delivery man asks if he needs to remove his shoes. Really, you shouldn't even ask. Be professional and put shoe coverings over your shoes once inside a home. Then to top it off the same guy comes down stairs with his mask completely off his nose and his upper lip showing. They come back in to put the chair inside and neither delivery man took off his shoes when they entered my home the second time. From beginning to end, this whole experience with Dufresne's was a total disappointment. I'm grateful that we only ordered a sofa and chair from them and not all of our appliances and other furniture. The only positive is the Decorest brand furniture does seem to be of good quality and we wanted Canadian made. I won't ever return to this store. Much nicer stores in Saskatoon to shop.

I wanted to make sure of what I was purchasing, so I asked the sales manager directly if the air fryer rack was included. He said it was, along with a meat thermometer. Bought a dresser, night stand and tv stand. White glove delivery. Night stand was broken when it arrived and dresser didn't have one of the items listed under features of the dresser. Reached out and they said they'd send someone in a few weeks to fix the night stand. Was told that even though the specific feature is listed as a feature of the dresser, that it actually means it's a part of a different item in the set that wasn't included. I asked why it is listed in the features if it isn't a feature and was told it's obvious and it's my fault, then they said there's nothing they'll do and too bad for me. I bought a lot of stuff so I expected them to be a bit more helpful when something wasn't as expected. Would've gladly given a good review if I wasn't belittled by customer service.

I purchased a sectional here and at no fault of Dufresne's, the largest piece did not fit up my stairs. After some consideration, I realized with a few smaller pieces I could basically have the same configuration that would fit up the stairs and keep the piece that didn't fit in the living room. I called the store and explained my situation and inquired about the pieces that I wanted to order. I was told that the pieces were in stock and could be delivered very quickly so I made the purchase. A couple days later I was told that for some reason the pieces were no longer available and would be a few weeks wait, which wasn't a huge deal but a little annoying. I was emailed saying the furniture would be delivered on March 23. I booked the day off to be home for the delivery. No delivery happened. No one notified me or updated me. I called in and was only then notified that it would be another week or so for the pieces to arrive. It feels very much like the staff here will do anything to make the sale and once the sale is made, they no longer care at all about following up. Disappointed in the service (or lack thereof).

I will NEVER order anything from this company, and I tell anyone I can not to either. Our landlord ordered our appliances for our place. In which this company “lost” the order of the stove, so she had to scramble to get us one. Our fridge was delivered, and when I asked for a delivery window.. they didn’t have one. She ordered a white fridge, we received a stainless steel one that had a scratch and uneven feet. Our washer and dryer were delayed a week, once delivered - it did not include the hose hook up - even though she paid and ordered one.. so we had to run out and get one to use our washer. Then our dishwasher was delayed 2 weeks... Every person I’ve spoken to from this company has been rude and unhelpful, absolutely terrible experience with this company.

Recently purchased a bed here the sales staff was amazingly knowledgeable and spent the time to find out exactly what we were looking for. There was a mix up on the delivery and the bed was to be delivered on a specific day and when I didn't hear from them I called to see what was happening and they immediately said there was a mix up and the delivery had been missed. We ordered furniture in April before moving to our new home. In store were told that the approximate delivery on May 25th. At the end of May, when the furniture did not come, We called to costumer service ( we called because anyone didn't call to us)and were told that our furniture would be at the end of June. In June, it was announced that the furniture would be in early August. today we learned that the furniture will be available only in early October, but no one promises that it will be exactly in October. Please tell me if this is normal at all? How can a big company that values its name behave like this to its customers? Today I will not buy anything else in this store and of course I will never recommend this store to anyone. So fed up with this place. The only good part of my experience with them was the awesome sales team which is why I left 2 stars. After purchasing there has been nothing but troubles. The first delivery team went to the wrong address for delivery. 2nd delivery team from Dufresne couldn't get the couch into our basement and wouldn't take it out of packaging to try further. Had to wait another week for Dufresne to book a 3rd party delivery team that they tried to make me pay for when I purchased white glove delivery and they had no troubles getting it in. Poor lack of effort on Dufresnes delivery team. White glove included set up but 3rd party delivery team had no instructions to set it up so I ended up doing it myself even though I paid for it. Once set up there was a deficiency in the furniture and had to get guest care to book someone to come pick it up again and take it to the shop to fix. Thier delivery time was missed the first re delivery time after repairs had been made and now the second delivery time has also been missed. All in all thier sales team is great with selling furniture, knowledgeable and great at helping me with my troubles. Everything past that has been the worst experience I've ever dealt with regarding a purchase. 5 delivery appointments later and I still don't have my couch after purchasing 3 months ago.

I purchased furniture from here on boxing day. It Took 3 months longer then i was told to get the furniture and even longer for some of it. The couch came damaged along with a screw sticking out which I've cut myself on 2 times now and the last time was bad. I called them and told them everything but have still been waiting since January for them to fix it but it took until today to get the parts. Even having the parts, they can't send someone out to fix it until August 3rd (2 minths from now and 8 months from day of purchase)even though there is a serious safety issue with it. I am giving them this month and then will look into getting a lawyer along with BBB involved to try and get some kind of response as I can't have a couch that I paid thousands for be cutting my guests or myself. This was supposed to be an exciting purchase for me and its turned into a complete nightmare.

Our bench came with a manufacturers defect (couldn't assemble as a result). They have a "fix before replace policy," and have failed to contact me several times forcing me to call; every phone call has led to a "we will let you know in 48 hours," without ever letting me know. Been sitting on this one for over a month with no plan and a refusal to replace. 3 stars given as a result because I had similar customer service issues with a couch set in the past.

Service was phenomenal. Price matched with Best Buy giving me the freezer I needed at the price I was willing to pay. Delivery is free and scheduled for next week.

The sales agent was fabulous to deal with in Saskatoon. She was knowledgeable and friendly as well as professional. That was the only good part of buying the couch. When we received the couch there was exterior stains and the entire mechanics of the couch did not work to allow for us to deploy the hide a bed.it also left a 6 inch line of damage into my hardwood in our new house. When I reported these issues to the service department hey said a service tech could address these in 2-4 weeks. We were offered some recourse to cover the damages but not a %100 refund .They would not take back the couch unless you paid a %25 “ RESTOCKING FEE”. My fault for not reading the fine print I suppose.

If you have a choice to shop for furniture anywhere else in Saskatoon please consider it. Dufresne has provided the worst customer service we have experienced when purchasing furniture. We ordered a bed and a dining room table in early November. When they were supposed to deliver the bed, another customer’s sectional was delivered in error. Dufresne asked us to search the sectional to find information to determine who it was meant for. When the bed frame arrived it was not well constructed, having only 3 thin slats supporting the mattress. The headboard is also cracked and Dufresne will not exchange the product. We are still waiting for the dining room table. They predict it may be here by the end of March but can’t say for sure. They will not offer a refund because they say the item is custom, when in actuality the only difference from the stock model is the seat covers. After several phone calls it is clear the Dufresne customer service team is not going to help or call back when they say they will.

We came into the store to view one sectional in particular, however the store no longer had this available on the floor. Kevin was able to show us via other models the material, look, and feel in which we could expect. A purchase was made and we couldn't be happier, it is to arrive Feb 2!
