I was traveling across Canada in my brand new to me, used Coach (2006 Newmarket Dutch Star). I was having trouble with my toad’s lights and my fridge. I pulled into a WalMart in Thunderbay. There were 3 coaches there, all with Quebec plates. I explained to them, Montreal was going to be a stop for a couple of days and asked if they knew of a good place to go for service. Without delay, they recommended Martin of VR Rive Sud and gave me the phone number. I never called. Just dropped in, hoping they could fit me in (end of the day on a Thursday late June) and to my surprise...they did. It wasn’t easy. The shop was very busy, but they fit me in and fixed me up, then sent me on my way. A great, friendly staff. Quick diagnostics, reasonable pricing and a great vibe. Martin and Karen have built a strong team and even though, being from BC and will likely never see them again, I would absolutely recommend them for ANY RV repair needs. Fluent in English too!!!

Sans compter tout en étant poli avec eux, un des employés commence à sacrer après moi ! Il est évident que je leur ai mentionné qu’ils me verront à la cour des Petites créances ! Au lieu de m’offrir de rembourser le temps sur la batterie 176$, respecter l’entente verbale de 2 heures (200$ ) de moins, et me redonner ma pièce auquel j’ai droit, ils préfèrent ternir leur réputation ? Malhonnête et incompétent c’est tout ce que j’ai à dire et j’espère que cela vous aidera à choisir un mécanicien plus honnête...

Depuis un certain temps notre VR nous donnait des signes que les batteries de chassis était problématiques, encore là à ma demande sans délais, le remplacement des batteries a été effectué. C'est vrai qu'il n'a rien de gratuit direz- vous! mais pour moi d'avoir un atelier de réparation attentif et surtout à l'écoute n'a pas de prix. Je faisais affaire auparavant avec mon concessionnaire de la rive sud mais dorénavant VR Rive-sud sera mon atelier de confiance et cela c'est plus important
