Wagg’s team was absolutely AMAZING!! I had just purchased a home in Barrie, from Durham area. After calling him, he joined me on one of my walk-thru’s and gave me a very reasonable quote (like I was in shock). Chris was friendly and professional on top of the amazing price, that I just had to hire him and his team. We scheduled for them to come the day after we got our keys (Tuesday) and finish painting my entire house by Saturday. Well they did even better, they finished Friday afternoon. When I went in to see the finished job, I was very impressed. Cutting in was on par by the way!!! 10/10 would recommend Wagg’s to anyone looking for a painter. And will definitely be hiring them again for future work.

First off, it's important to mention that Chris hasn't done a paint job for me, but I can't not leave positive feedback for his customer service. Chris came over to my house twice as I had a little modification for the second visit. He was prompt to reply and arrived with a great attitude. While he was looking around, his precision and attention to detail was amazing. He made suggestions (to also make his job easier in the end) which will only enhance the paint job. He saw every flaw and made suggestions for a quick fix before paint in order to minimize imperfections. His communication is quick and efficient and clear. He gets to the point and continues to provide constructive feedback and puts you at ease. Additionally, his timeline is very reasonable. For his customer service and attention to detail, I strongly recommend Chris and his team. They will be very easy to deal with and will ensure that your paint job is the best and that you'll be absolutely happy with the result.

We recently bought a house in Barrie and wanted to paint prior to moving in. I contacted Wagg's Painting because they were local and with some good reviews listed. I'm glad I did. Chris and his team were magnificent in both the wok aspect as well as the customer service. Chris (the owner) met up with me to see the home and give us a quote. The thing I liked about the quote is that it's a real quote and not something scribbled on paper or a quote given verbally. That was a good sign that I was hiring a professional. The quote was very reasonable given the amount of work and the tight timeline. Chris helped with the colour choices (recommendations and suggestions for paint types and colours); also he uses Benjamin Moore as his paint of choice which is a quality product. When I had a hard time finding the right colour, he called a local store for me and arranged a viewing of the colour. The walls in our home needed a lot of TLC. Chris and his team patched up all the walls to look like new and painted on a smooth surface. The results were flawless. Quality paint and painting made all the difference. Chris even followed up after we moved in to see how we liked the work (nice touch). Overall, I would recommend Wagg's Painting to anyone in the Barrie and surrounding area. I can’t say enough about Chris. We had another local Barrie painter come in and do some work for us, we were panicking because our house was closing and we were in a hurry. Needless to say, and without going into details, the other company was a nightmare. In a flurry I contacted Chris and he was kind enough to come out that day. He truly has a passion for what he does, you could tell the instant he started working and meticulously covering all the floors and furniture. Admittedly the work he did for us was a simple job, it was not painting our entire home. But he still took the time to touch up some poorly done edging where the ceiling meets the wall, and he covered a ugly blotch left behind from the previous painters. Chris visited right away to provide an extremely reasonable quote, and returned on the day and at exactly the time scheduled to paint two rooms. We didn't think of hiring painters at first because we thought we could do the job ourselves. After hiring Wagg's, we're so glad we didn't do the job ourselves. Wagg's painters did an incredibly professional job. The result was magazine-worthy. They did everything from help select colours and paint-types to clean up. They were also incredibly fast. If we had chosen to do it ourselves, it would have taken us weeks and we would have never been able to do the job as well as they did. They also brought an impressive amount of materials, tools and equipment for the job. And we didn't give them an easy task. They had to do ceilings and walls, at times over stairways. They simply did it, efficiently, quickly and professionally. The last thing we worried about was the price. But, taking into account the equipment and hours it would have taken us, they were very reasonably priced. Definitely a worth-while purchase. So much so that we hired them again for another painting job, decided to do this review and will hire them again for another job. Had a really great experience with Chris! He was super nice from the moment I called him. I’m currently going through a Reno in my kitchen and my contractor quoted me an absurdly high amount to paint — but Chris came back with a price much better. He was also very honest about the job my contractor did and told me I should go after them; as they told me, and I paid for, the kitchen to be paint ready and it wasn’t. I also have a tenant in my unit and he was amazing with communication with her and I through the entire process. The paint job was stellar as well, much better than I could do myself!
