We interviewed 8 different painting companies before selecting Grandview. I was very impressed with the owner Johnny's professionalism, communication, expertise, and fantastic value. It was also important to us to support a local business and not a large chain. Johnny and his team were fantastic to work with, and the house transformation was incredible. A couple of neighbours asked for his info after we finished for their own homes. His team worked through an intense heatwave of 40+ degrees in Vancouver without any complaint or work stoppage. I am glad we found Johnny and George to paint inside of our house. Johnny is very responsive when I called when some other companies didn't even call me back. And he always on time with consultation and giving out quotes, and he managed to get our house started very quickly. George is such a hard worker, he is very knowledgeable and detailed painter, yet he is friendly and with a big heart! When I ask him questions about painting, he is more than happy to teach me all the things he know about painting. One suggestion though, I think he needs to take more rest!

His quote was prepared listing all services and then we received a welcome email with a detailed schedule. We agreed on a start date and he arrived with a helper to power wash. We had a fantastic experience dealing with Johnny at Grandview. We wanted our front steps and potentially the porch painted and reached out in early January for an estimate. He was very open and honest about not being able to start work until the spring, and followed up with us in late March as promised to arrange for the estimate. He outlined all of our options and was responsive and professional at all times. In April he arranged to get our steps done as soon as weather permitted, and he and his team came in and finished the job right away in really good time. They were also very mindful of the COVID19 social distancing situation and kept distances accordingly while working. The finished steps looked great, and we would absolutely recommend Grandview Painting to our friends!

We had a vaulted ceiling (over a floating staircase) that needed to be painted. We also had french doors and other odd things (low storage) done by them. They were super professional from day 1 to the final walk through. They really care about customer satisfaction… thank you!
