Very friendly team at Shell in Bancroft! I must say they have the best auto car wash in the area!! If you're up north and feel like a wash take your vehicle to Shell!!!

I have been there 5 times in 4 days to get propane filled and was told they cannot do it because they can't leave the store. This has happened at least 25 times this winter. If you are not able to offer propane all the time get rid of the propane fill up service. It is inconvenient and quite frankly very very frustrating especially when you have a propane stove and live 30 min from town. I work 8 to 6pm so most other times are not possible. I know I'm not the only one annoyed with this.

Only car wash in town - sadly not as great as expected. Almost better to use the coin operated car wash bays. Attendant was nice enough to refund 1/2 when the car was filthy after going through the car wash. Seems like a busy place for sure.

It's alright as far as gas bars go, but if you need propane then you half to wait for there to be no customers at the Shell because there is usually only 1 person working behind the counter. I understand waiting your turn but when you have to wait on others to be gone after your request, it becomes rather less understandable. Plus I think insurance wise there should always be 2 people.

It's a gas station with a convenience store attached. It has restrooms. The parking lot is paved and flat. Immediate access from the main road.

Staff refuses to wear masks. Said that if I was worried about COVID, why did I use a public washroom. At least three pumps weren’t working properly so you had to go inside to pay.

We bought a $50 Gas Card at Christmas for a client. Today the client brought the card to us and let us know that there was only 50¢ on it. We took the card, receipt and our mastercard summary showing the $50 purchase to the station and was told he couldnt deal with it we had to call Head Office. We called HO and was given a different number to call. Tried and it didnt even ring...called back and they said to call the number on the back of the card. Called it and was told they didnt deal with that we would have to go back to the station. We called Head Office again and they called the Station to see if they could talk to them about it. The owner said he wanted nothing to do with it and would not honour. So after all that we gave up . We were RIPPED OFF. we will not be going back there and as we give people directions for gas will direct them to the ESSO in town. UNBELIEVABLE

This is not really a review more a question , I have called and called and there is no answer and we were by today and all of the car wash bays and regular car wash is closed, just wondering if there is a water shortage in town maybe due to the heat? and when will it open again? you are the only car wash in town!

Place is ok for gas and convenience store. The car wash is a waste of time it always broke down. Winter is terrible nobody cares. Even in summer most do it yourself bays are down. Wands don’t work, won’t take coins, no soap and this is just the beginning of the problems. The real issue is management or ownership. They use it as a draw to get you in then the frustration begins. Bancroft needs real a good car wash and it would put this one out business.
