Terrible service!!! avoid this company We purchased a wood door from Madawaska about 18 months ago, within a couple of months we had cracks in the door. We were informed that the door will be either repaired or replaced over 8 months ago. Since then, we contacted the CEO by email, called numerous time; we heard nothing back and we have been ignored which is absolutely unprofessional especially that the door is still under warranty...

If you want a traditional wood door: look no further. The quality is outstanding. Service was excellent and delivery was hassle free. I couldn't find what I was looking for on their website so I sent the sales rep a few photos of doors I liked and they put together a custom door that was perfect. Price was surprisingly competitive with inferior options (fiberglass or steel).

Disappointing customer service. I requested a quote, over the weekend and was emailed by Michelle on Tuesday morning apologizing for not calling me Monday and that she would call me that day (Tuesday). I was not contacted, so I reached out again on Wednesday morning to request a call for a quote. Michelle then called me apologizing for the delay which was fine, but then proceeded to ask me if I had just woken up? Instead of being provided with a quote for the styles and size I had ordered, there were few answers given and that I would have to wait for the glass person to confirm if they could offer what I was requesting. I am not sure why the system is made to have the customer select their styles and options online and then not provide them a quote or call them when they say they will call. And then tell the customer that it will probably be too expensive for them. Over all not a great representation of the brand and left me feeling that this was a waste of time.

20 years ago we purchased 4 Madawaska pine interior doors when renovating our current home. We needed 2 additional custom doors to complete a project, and since we have always loved the original doors, I thought I would get in touch with the original manufacturer re availability. Pleasantly surprised to discover through a google search they are still manufacturing doors. We contacted the company, and Michelle, our most delightful and extremely competent sales consultant very patiently walked us through the procedures of choosing our pair of doors - the design, type of wood, the colour of stain and professional finish all of which Madawaska does beautifully on their own premises. They have since been hung and complement our home like a new fine piece of furniture! The "piece de resistance" was a beautiful road trip through Algonquin Park to Barry's Bay to pickup our doors, spending the night at the Ashcroft Inn and meeting the lovely Michelle in person!

A very disappointing experience. Our exterior door system warped within the first year, leaks, and many of the thermopanes had faulty seals and began to cloud within 2 years of installation. They are now so badly clouded and streaked they must be replaced. You have only a 1 year warranty and after that they are unwilling to entertain replacement or repair. Beware! Thank you for reaching out, new owners of Madawaska doors. We no longer own the house with the faulty door but I will pass on your goodwill reaching out to the new owners. Best of luck to you, it was a product with such potential but such terrible customer service. I expect you will do better, as you already are by this follow-up.
