Good selections. But I had to wait over 2 months to receive the couch I paid for in full over 2 months ago. I'm on amazon prime I can get stuff delivered in 2 days. I understand why Leon's does this. It's a great busines model. Get the money make the costumer wait for the product. But as a costumer I will never shop there again. Because of the horrible wait times on shipping and they do not stock any inventory. So your stuck waiting for your purchase.

Bought a new couch. Paid in full. Delivered early even. Then find out it's not scotch guarded, have to let some stranger in my home to spray it. Don't want it sprayed because I have a baby and not comfortable with people in my home. If I don't, my warranty is null and void. And they won't return the whole couch. Lesson learned. Never shop there again. Online is it for me

I called them simply to find out what furniture a friend had purchased from them. They tried multiple times in an effort to give me the correct information. After several timely searches on their computers they called me with the details. I am very impressed with their commitment to serve customers in any way possible. I live a great distance from Bancroft in the GTA, but Ill see if I can buy from them and have it delivered to my home in the GTA.

Waited months for my order which is completely out of Leon's control the manufacturer is way behind. Due to a 4 hour possible delivery window I had to take the day off work to be home for delivery, get a call saying the truck wont start we cant make your delivery to day. I call uhaul and they have trucks there and ready for rental so I call Leon's back let them know that there are replacement trucks available and they say the just dont have the man power and if I want my order I can go pick it up myself. Now I have to wait 6 extra days for my order and loose a full days pay because they cant manage to get there stuff together. After this kind of service and attitude I will be taking my future business elsewhere.

Told me not to waste my time on anything above a certain price as it would be "too expensive for my lifestyle" however after purchasing a couchset, upon delivery I discovered there were tears all along the backside and it took 5 months for anything to be done by the manager

There's a fellow named Dave who works at the Leon's location. Now, I'm not a huge fan of big box stores but in a small town with fewer options Leon's has good sales and deferred payment plans. This fellow named Dave though. He has been one of the only people in that store who does not discriminate on your looks. People work and have jobs so maybe they go to the store after work right? So Dave is always happy to help and super friendly. And once again..Will help you regardless of looks or financial standing. He genuinely is a great guy so if you ever choose Sault Ste Marie Leon's for your next purchase, I ask you to meet with Dave for your furniture needs.

Being new to the area, I was a bit worried that there was only one real place to get appliances. With what might be the market share, there isn't a need to fight for customers. My concern wasn't needed at all! I bought two appliances over the phone, where Stacy worked with me as I was hoping for in stock and quick delivery. She gave me confidence in what I was ordering and answered all my question. Delivery was smooth and they even left a flower and a thank you note! Yes, they left me a flower and thank you!! Once gone, we did notice damage on one of the fridge doors and all it took was a photo and a phone call and the door was replaced within hours. Hours, not days. I'll be going back for future needs at the cottage and would recommend. Fantastic customer service!

I was told my replacement chair from Leons would be a 3 month wait after the original recliner I bought broke after 18 months of light use. It has now been 6 months and I have just been told that my new chair is now in Scarborough and will arrive in the Soo in aprox 3-4 weeks. Grrrr!

The worst furniture store I ever been to the whole time they're the cells then did nothing but lie to me I had to tell him that I knew about the back room where most start with on for half the price he lied and said there wasn't I finally found someone that was willing to tell the truth and got a chance to go into the back room and found all kinds of furniture I don't understand why they taking it off the floor put it in the back room on sale but don't allow anyone to purchase at when they're just going to throw it out later

We have used Leon’s more then once to buy from. Usually the experience is great. Today we went in to look at floor samples of the washer and dryer we purchased last night after agreeing our 11 year old washer and dryer set had served us well. When the tall grey haired sales guy was informed by us we already purchased them from Leon’s website his response was “oh we don’t like that” and he walked away from us. I am very disappointed in his attitude myself and my wife. I am very glad I ordered online after that interaction.

I bought a sofa and loveseat set at Leon’s. I bought the Zucora protection package at the time of purchase. 3 years later our sofa was ruined by a very large unremoveable stain. Leon’s and Zucora worked together and more than met my expectations quickly and efficiently. They were very professional and took the time to make sure I was fully satisfied. The manager himself helped us to rectify the situation and did everything possible to make us happy customers. Will definitely recommend and deal here again.

Honestly couldn't be happier with Leons! We moved recently and had to purchase all new furniture. We purchased something from all of the big 3 in Chatham (Teppermans, The Brick, and Leons) and Leons has become our favourite - we will be purchasing all our furniture from them moving forward. The instore associates are kind and not at all pushy which makes for a nice experience. We dealt with Nathan when purchasing our mattress and bed and we couldn't have been happier with the service and advice he offered for first time mattress buyers. We also purchased a new washing machine online last weekend, and happened to get Nathan a second time to schedule delivery - again, great to deal with ! Their delivery is quick and the men delivering are friendly. It's nice they have a warehouse on site as it means you usually do not have to wait for items to be shipped. Overall can't recommend this store enough

This place is nothing but a joke in my opinion . They lie to you to get the sale as they hardly have anything in stock which they do not tell you until after you pay your bill {over 5 grand} and I found their stuff really pricey . I will never ever deal with this store again . The Brick has better service , better prices and their Sales People are a lot more honest .

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with my experience here. I have purchased a dinning room table for my new home and I received it late and damaged where I was only able to put together ONE chair out of SIX. After speaking with the staff, they told me they were going to send me a new one. Every time we call, they tell us that the new table was sent back because that was damaged as well. This happened 3 times now and I still have not received my table and it’s been over 3 months! Not happy !

Ok so I am appauled the service this store gives.. I went in to purchase a refrigerator CASH! I was greeted by a great sales person However anything i wanted i couldn't get.. After checking her computer i was told they don't have any So my question is.why show them is the show room if you dont have them ir cant order them because there aren't any.. Went back to see if i could buy the floor model..next day.. different sales person Answer no they can't sell the floor model As its is unfair to the people waiting for this refrigerator Hmmm. SO I CAME TO THE conclusion that 1.either sales are so good that you Don't really want to sell.....or 2.this big beautiful show room..is just that..show. or 3. These 2 sales people didn't want to sell to us. For whay ever reason Maybe i was asking too many Questions Maybe i didn't look like i had money That being said...i am someone that has worked retail for over 40 years..and i am certainly appauled at the inability to meet Customer concern.. You lost not only the sale of my refrigerator. But also my freezer..and my other appliances.. as we are in the process of a kitchen makeover ..but Again don't think that matters to your store..as long as the showroom is pretty And it is Jane

DO NOT USE LEONs they make u wait 10 to 12 weeks for damaged tables and that was after they could not deliver 3 other tables shawna manger has horrible customer service i bought table and waited 10 weeks on a saturday for them to deliver another damaged table i called shawna and she was useless i could have waited up to a nother unlimited time or got a refund that table is still in flyers for sale DO NOT EVER SHOP THERE

I purchased a Samsung washer and dryer in February, 2017, but I was unable to get any warm or hot water. I emailed my salesman several times, and even the store Manager. I kept getting told it must be something I was doing wrong. I actually had to beg for them to send out a service technician to either fix my washing machine or show me what it was I was doing wrong. It took six months to finally get a technician to come to my house. They said they called me twice to set up a conference call, but they did NOT leave a message to this effect. I finally had to resort to sending a nasty email accusing them of intentionally stalling so that my warranty would run out. The service guy replaced the PCB and valve, and now I am able to get hot or warm water on demand. Too bad this couldn't have been done six months ago so that I could enjoy my new appliance. My main complaint: it shouldn't have taken six months to satisfy a customer. It seemed once they had my money, they could care less about me.

Upon receiving a dining room set from Leon''s I was very unhappy that my widow went without me and bought a set made in "Taiwan" I do not know who assembled it at the store but I had manager look and asure me this was Quality furniture and would not fall apart. Wrong, 9 or so chairs exploded.Thanks to God or good luck no one was hurt..This dining room table that was used for my wife to do crosswords on and a board game with the children. We always ate our meals at T.V. tables, and probably was a good thing as with a box of empty C.D's and four fishing rods on it collapsed earlier this spring. Just be aware of who you can get Quality furniture from and where they do take advantage of women. Weaker sex my butt, If Christine was here right now she would be getting a written apology from head office. I had no receipt for a stereo head that they had taken in for repair and then store closes? Reopened at the new location, and I am out a surround system.. What would you do go back to the store again? If I darken the doorstep at this store again, call me a fool!

To say I have never experienced this level of service anywhere. We purchased some appliances from this location which were delivered and installed promptly. We even received a thank you card and a flower for doing business with them which was very nice. Unfortunately we experienced some issues with one of the appliances. After 3 days of being given the run around by the manufacturer, we called Leons back as a last resort and they resolved our issue and replaced our "lemon" without blinking an eye. They went above and beyond, saved us a lot of stress and headache and ultimately made us feel like family as opposed to just another number as so many companies do these days. We can not thank them enough and this location of Leon's in particular will be our first choice when making purchases in the future and will happily recommend this store.

We went with my sister and her husband to order appliances for their new house. I had phoned the store earlier and spoke to Chris. I explained that Home Depot's delivery service had messed up and that the appliances that my sister ordered were not coming for the previously arranged scheduled delivery. Chris arranged to meet us when we came Leons. He not only helped us to select the appliances, but also arranged for same day delivery! What great service! We purchased a portable dishwasher online during covid on May 8. It was a special order they told us so it wouldn't be in until the beginning of July which is fine. But it is now almost the start of August. Nearly 3 months and still waiting to get what we paid for is unacceptable. This was our first and last time ever dealing with leons. Update... So it's now September 18th and we just called to check the status of our order since we haven't heard anything since September 12 when they told us it shipped out and they would let us know the second it came through the door. Clearly not the case, cause we had to call them to find out its been sitting there waiting for us. My wife had requested free delivery for the inconvenience of having to waiting so long, and was told we would have to wait until the 20th to speak with the manager due to it being out of town delivery that costs $90. My thoughts are, I don't care what it costs you....this has been the worst ever customer experience. I honestly thought for awhile that this company was going to go bankrupt and close shops in Canada. It was that bad... Never again Leon's. Lost a customer for life and buyers beware...

Zero stars, if I could give it. Run away!! Run far away!! We bought a top-of-the-line Frigidaire upright freezer from them. We paid for the extended warranty, and less than three months later the freezer failed. They tried to blame it on a local power failure, but we have a stand-by generator that automatically starts when the power is out. Hundreds of dollars worth of rancid meat to be disposed of, and their response was "too bad, so sad, not covered by the extended warranty". Took no responsibility for the product that they sold.

Don't waste your time if you're under the age of 50. My Wife and I spent 25-30min in the store today, had THREE employees walk right past us without even asking if we needed help. The minute someone 50+ walked in the door they were swarmed. Absolutely horrible customer service, if i was management I would be ashamed. Needless to say I took my $3000 to Mio's Furniture and was helped within minutes of walking in the door. Leon's I highly advise training your employees better, because you're loosing money.

I had a great experience at Leon's in Bancroft purchasing 6 appliances for our new house. Our salesperson Nick had all the information we needed to select the right appliances. He also provided us with a price match from a competitor on the fridge which he found online. Additionally, he was able to get us another online rebate on the 4 KitchenAid appliances we purchased by calling the KitchenAid sales representative. We were very happy with this news and savings. Went to the store on July 12th and purchased (which was paid for not financed) sofa and matching chair which was to be delivered July 23rd. Received a telephone call on July 22nd to advise of delivery on 23rd between 830 and noon. Remained at home with no delivery made. Contacted Leons and was advised furniture had returned to store. Was informed that drivers were unable to find address and had made phone call with no answer. I have call display on phone- no phone calls were made. There is three streets on the reservation no truck was seen driving around. Spoke with manager Fraser who stated I would have to wait 2 more weeks for delivery to his area. Advised I was unable to wait as I had removed other furniture awaiting delivery. Stated we would go to Sault Ste Marie on Monday to obtain refund- he was more than happy to assist with doing this over the phone. Very poor customer service when they are more than happy to return money instead of arranging an alternate deliver date. Will never purchase another item at Leon's.

We generally deal with smaller local furniture stores, but were really impressed with the sales staff, and all of our dealings with the Bancroft Leons. (and Proper Covid protocol observed at all times by staff.) Delivery was exactly as arranged, friendly delivery team, and received our invoice with a flower ! Nice touch. Also a note expressing their thanks for our business. And a follow up call the next day to ensure the delivery and product met our expectations. As stated, we were impressed and frankly, surprised. Based on our experience, we would not hesitate to recommend.

Ordered 2 pieces of furniture in December, scheduled delivery for the first weekend of February. We received a call at 3:30pm the night before delivery saying the furniture was not in stock, how does that happen? The warehouse manager apologized and helped get the earliest delivery which was 4 days later. The good thing about our experience was our sales rep Jonathan- thanks again for your help!

Was in at Leon's furniture a couple of days ago, just to check on prices for a clothes dryer. We knew there were incentives for energy efficient appliances which was one of the reasons for going in, but once we chatted with the sales representative, we discovered the gas dryer was cheaper to buy then the regular priced electric dryer. Leon's price match any other store's advertised price, and has really good payment options for those which are not able to pay full price at time of purchase. Staff are friendly, and knowledgeable. A good shopping experience.

Great customer service resolution if the delivery guys damage your home. I gave Jordan 5 stars for his efforts to satisfy my complaint. I'm happy with my new Canadian made leather couch and chair good quality and consistent leather grain. I should have it for many years. The price was fair and delivery at no extra charge. Paid a lot for a nice dining room set. Said it would be delivered in 2 weeks. Arrived 8 weeks later only to have a huge chip out of one side and given a used chair only to be told that it will be another 8 weeks to get a replacement . Also still waiting on couches we ordered over 8 weeks ago and still have no idea when they will be here ....will never order from this company again

CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS BEST!! It is with great appreciation that I make this review. Jeff Colby and Chris Long went above and beyond in an amazing way. My mother, who is medically fragile bought an electric chair 16 months ago. She basically lives in the chair. Unfortunately, the motor stopped working. Jeff helped me figure out what it was with no expectations. As the warranty was finished, I explained my mother’s financial situation and off he went. Within a day or two, he assured me there would be no charge. Chris Long contacted me shortly after that. It is my hope that others can experience this type of great service. Absoutly horrible place to deal with. Ordered items for Christmas presents on Dec 2nd and all items were showing in stock. No contact from Leon's at all so we stopped by the store on Dec 16th to be told one of the items, the main present for our 10 year old, is out of stock and won't be in by Christmas. Sales people were completly unhelpful, execpt to blame everything on their new financing provider that they knew nothing about and to offer to sell us a 'similar' instock product at nearly double the price with no discount offered. Not the first time we've had issues and we'll never step foot back in the place or use their online store.

I would not reccomend ordering bunk beds from here. We ordered a set and they said 4-6 weeks (which was fine) Then the 7th week I called when they said they would call me .. (no one ever calls from the store) Someone told me they were in when they were not. I called the 8th week and the woman I talked to was very rude to me on the phone. Not great customer service and always getting a different answer when you order something.

Had a very knowledgeable and helpful salesperson except that she told us the mattress pad "came with" the bed we purchased. I discovered a $99 charge for the pad on my bill. Bad enough, but the Tencel pad is awful. It bunches up and slides around and doesn't stay flat. I feel we were fast-talked into a grossly inferior, over-priced product that was supposed to be included in the cost.

Bought a Samsung fridge & stove. Leons did everything a business should (more) to keep a customer happy. Switched direction of fridge door. Originally I went to home depot. They refused because of wiring harness. So I was reluctant to believe Leons when they told me it was easy ... but it was for them :) Stove did not work (because of my breaker) Of course I blamed stove because clock and lights worked. Staff and manager walked me through until I found out it was my breaker. Manager was very willing to switch stove if it was not. I was not an easy customer and they went above & beyond... Thank you very much !

NEVER BUY HERE! Watch the fine print cause the sales people do not tell you about it. 50% restocking fee on all furniture. Plus the 25% Non refundable deposit. I bought a couch, first delivery could not get it in the house. They were only going to give me back 25% of my purchase price. I had to tell them to bring it back to my house. Second delivery got it into the house. 3 days after delivery I get a call from someone to come and put on the magicseal on the furniture...no one told me it was not done at their warehouse. Even though the delivery guys were all very nice I am never shopping there ever again.

Have been in Bancroft Leon's a few times and I must say, their customer service is so excellent! I was in a bad car accident late last year and fractured my hip. The car insurance accident benefit covered a new bed. I love that there is a massive Showroom (set up beautifully!) so I could look at, try out, then purchase what I needed. Superb quality, very comfy! And they deliver no problem! I live about 45 min away. Thanks Leon's!

I have bought well over $10,000 worth of products from Leon’s bancroft in less then three years. Always had amazing service UNTIL NOW. Previous manager was amazing! My stove I bought has had nothing but problem after problem, bought extended warranty. Previous manager always stated to call if problem with extended warranty. Parts are just being replaced to get past the extended warranty period. Stove does not work properly and need to use shop vac to get water out of self aqua clean,also cosmetically stove trim around dials wore off , was replaced once and stated that’s it not covered, wore off again. This stove was discontinued when we bought , only found out after purchase. Now have been told to have to take a full day off work for another technician to come and look at it again. Called Leon’s bancroft for help as they sold stove and extended warranty , as previous manager had stated call if any issues. The new manager informed, has nothing to do with Leon’s and was very ignorant. DO NOT RECOMMEND LEONS BANCROFT!!!

My mother-in-law bought a table, paid for said table and was told that it would be here for Christmas. We called Leons to see what the holdup is and they told her that she wont be receiving it until May. She was absolutely devastated. From many other reviews it seems people have suffered the same fate. Why aren't you reaching out when there are major delays of 5+ months. Absolutely horrible customer service. I get a pandemic, but you could reach out. (Oh also they're still trying to sell the same products when she can't even get hers for another 5 months).

The worst customer service I have ever encountered. Not allowing customers to return defective merchandise is unconscionable. Their policy is no returns on accessories but when merchandise is defective and can't be used why can't they be decent ? The mind boggling thing is that they will allow customers to take out area rugs that will go on people's floors and most likely stepped on and then brought back but will not even exchange or refund an accessory that is defective. Leons started off as a family owned and operated store but has now become so large that attention and care for customers are becoming extinct. I wrote my complaint to customer service and got basically a cut and paste reply. There are many wonderful stores that do actually do give wonderful after the sale service so I will take my business elsewhere. The sad part about that is Leons will not even notice.

Brutal, that’s all I can say. Manager Jen is unprofessional. Purchased a couch with a broken leg. Still not replaced. Got attitude from manager Jen through her employee. Wouldn’t come on the phone to talk to me. No magiseal call yet, it’s been 3 weeks, Jen said they called and got my voicemail when they called, but they left no voicemail... weird? She said I have to deal with it now and call magiseal. Some service from their manager. Sales guy was nice though. I would never go here again. Trash service, trash management.
