I swear by home hardware in Bancroft. The staff are friendly knowledgeable and very welcoming. All of the staff are great but particularly, I like hunting down Dave Craftchick because he is very knowledgeable and if they don't have what it is I am looking for, he almost always finds a way to improvise and in some cases he has ordered a specific item and it was on time and the exact item I was looking for.

One of the best hardware stores I've been to. The staff are so, so knowledgeable, they'll spend so much time trying to help you out and figure out a solution with you. The inventory can be just okay sometimes, but keep in mind it's not in the city. Can't express how great the staff is at this Home Hardware.

This is one of my favourite stores for plumbing parts. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. If I walk in with an explanation of my problem, and a couple photos, they are always able to recommend the right parts that I need for the job. The sales staff in each department have a high level of customer service. Prices are fair, and occasionally they have some great sales too. They observe the Covid health guidelines carefully, which as a customer I really appreciate. Keep up the good work!

Store has new owners and focus has changed from a contractors store to retail customer. All goods in packed packages rather than loose ,take what you need. Very knowledgeable staff. The store is in transition .Covid has not done well here. poor order and pickup method.

There are some helpful people at this location. However, I don't know what it is about Home Hardware in general, but I don't appreciate being stalked around the store by employees as if I'm a thief. This has happened at several locations, they see me enter an asile, and they peer at you around the corner as if you can't see them. Makes you not want to go back to Home Hardware...

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a hardware store as the manager Is still not even willing to assist! Better off going to another store! Tried to exchange a can of compressed air as when I got home the little red stick won’t fit in as directed from the can! I tried to make it work by spraying it in different ways (wouldn’t of cared if it worked without the red hose) but it couldn’t do anything lol it’s just solid trash!
