Be careful with this company. If you are an owner or tenant, they will take advantage of you. Not recommended. People make mistakes, and we make a big mistake trusting this company and not record sometimes what they say by phone or in presence. whatever they say, do not believe them and keep the records. we left the home in the middle of the last month, it is already a month and they do not return the remainder of the month as it should be, this is a steal. they say they need to fix and retain the damage deposit, to repair the home without showing any invoice and in a way totally arbitrary, good business to contract thyself to fix something. Again, DO NOT believe this company, or you will be in trouble like me.

I am obsessed with Metro Property! Nicole is amazing. She has helped me out so much in our new place! If you're thinking between a compnay vs a private landlord I would go with Metro. So easy, everything can be done online such as paying rent and and maintainence requests which I LOVEEEE!!! The staff alone would make me stay renting from them. I lived in a house managed by them for about 2 years, and at first it seemed good, but once you have the lease signed they don't really care. It took a long time for some important things to get done, and for something to actually happen for them regarding an issue brought up during the viewing of the place, before they started doing anything about it, and even then it took a few months to fix the problem, only to not actually fix it. They're very strict on minor things they're not fine with, while ignoring major issues you've reported several times. If you have any other options, go with those, and only rent under Metro Property Management as an absolute last resort.

It is said that one doesn't appreciate dedication and work ethic until those qualities have been withheld. Personally having dealt with a neglectful and incompetent Management company for years I was not expecting to be as impressed with this one. I was very wrong. Chantelle specifically handled all of my questions, concerns at anytime with quick and knowledgeable replies. My maintenance issues were all addressed same visit by two different gentlemen who were receptive to any additional problems that were not reported. I can definitely give this company my recommendation based on my individual experience.

Not only are the staff friendly and helpful, not to mention professional, but they have easy to use and convenient online tools. I manage all my maintenance requests online and keep track of my rent, as well as any other issues related to my residency. The repair crew is friendly and prompt. Nothing but good things I can say about the gang. 10/10!

While I have had some very minor hiccups along the way (as to be expected when you own real estate), they have handled each one in a very professional and prompt manner. From day one they represented their own interests, make bogus charges, providing no transparency and refusing to provide receipts for unauthorized work (which was clearly outlined in contract)... before the tenant moved in, I was wanting out of the contract and they have been an absolute parasite, and am now forced to seek legal action against them for damages. Caveat emptor!

I have been using Metro to manage my rental for 7 months or so. Very good with dealing with my questions. Never late sending me the rent. We had a plumbing issue during the summer that led to substantial work. Metro were excellent with management of all that and we were able to get it looked after in a matter of days. With practically zero messing around for me. The ladies in the office know your name and property and are very caring and professional They are realistic about rental market and are quite good at screening potential tenants. Lots of help regarding the lease agreement and they are experts regarding the tenancies act. Well worth the money to find reliable tenants these days I would recommend without question.

Peter and his team have always been responsive in managing my long-term rental property. They are pro-active in finding the right tenants for my house (as I love my first house) and they are always on the ball when identifying potential structural/design issues on their scheduled home inspections. They have a crew that have built me a lovely backyard fence around my property. They have also built a huge new retaining wall. It was a significant project that required excellent craftsmanship and back-breaking work. Peter even bailed us out the winter after Snowmaggen to clear out the driveway. ABSOLUTELY HORRID TO DEAL WITH! Do not EVER rent a property from this company. The will not address any maintenance concerns. They will make an appointment and not show up again and again. It will LITERALLY take months to get any repair required. They seem to cater to slumlords who want to hide behind a company. If you are looking for a stress free rental...this is NOT the company for you.

Wish I've paid attention to the reviews before putting my house on their hands. Before we signed the contract they seemed professional, respectful and caring. As soon as we got into a contract with them things changed. The tenant they found created damages from plumbing to windows to flooring to cabinets and breached the lease by smoking weed inside the house, yet they sided with the tenant the whole time, billed us for every damage and had us give tenant free rent while we were trying to fix the issues. They failed to complete the final walkthrough properly and gave the tenant their deposit back without having any of our damages covered. We ended up losing thousands of dollars for having the house in their hands for merely one year. They denied any responsibility for our losses and they may even deny that we've ever hired them. If anyone is looking for proof I have photos and receipts to send.

I’ve been a client of metro property management company for the last 4.5 years and I have received nothing but exceptional service from them from day one. If I ever had an issue, they addressed it immediately and worked to resolve it in a timely manner. The property manager, Nicole, is absolutely fabulous and will do whatever she can to help and ensure that you are happy. I had a hot water tank break on a weekend and the owner was so quick to get this fixed for me - within an hour of my call I had someone installing the new hot water tank. Overall, such a positive experience. Some people think a certain way about property management companies, but metro property doesn’t fall under that stigma. They are phenomenal and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!

I rented through this company. My experience was pretty good. I rented with them for about 3 years. Any issues I had got dealt with pretty much immediately. The lady in charge of maintenance was awesome to work with. It helped that the house was in great shape and it stayed that way. I have to give credit though to the lady who made it all go smoothly and the reason u get a 5 star rating. They need to clone Nicole. She is such a beautiful person, very professional, very understanding, she keeps it real. I had dealings with one other lady who was in a higher up position and she just made it so that I wanted to avoid all contact with them. You get more flies with honey and this comes natural to Nicole. She gets it❤

once you have the lease signed they don't care about you. It took a long time for any of our issues to get taken care of but they're very strict on minor things they're not fine with. If you have any other options, use them, and don't rent from these guys unless you have no other choice. Don't bother cleaning on your way out, they will try and take your damage deposit anyway. I spent all day fixing things up, even went and bought paint to touch up areas of concern for them, and then they told me I owed more than my original deposit, save yourself the frustration.
